What a great place! My dog's been going here for about two years. He's just so excited as we get near to drop-off he practically jumps out of the car! But it's not just about daycare -- the Dog's Life team has really helped him with socialization and obedience too. And the whole staff is simply awesome. Being able to get him bathed with a nail trim is an added bonus.

Annie just loves her home away from home. She is a "puppy" yellow lab and needs the socialization and exercise she receives each time she goes. She attends 3 days a week and she has become completely socialized with other dogs and plays well with all of her neighborhood friends! The staff are super friendly and always give a report of who her best friends are at "school". We are so grateful to everyone there. A great solution for us. And they even have a grooming choice if your buddy needs a bath and pedicure. We love it and so does she.

Staff at A Dogs Life are more like family than most family members. My little middle aged girl had abandonment issues at first, with the love and warmth of our extended family at A Dog's Life she has been liberated from her fears and has blossomed

A Dog's Life is the best! We've trusted them with our dogs since 2004. The best thing about them is how much attention they pay to the dogs. The staff will reach out with observations about our dogs' health, skin issues, stuff like that to make sure our pup is healthy as well as happy. When we pick up our pooch at the end of the day, they'll tell us what the doggo did, who they played with, which dog is their best friend - it's the level of attention you'd expect from your child's daycare, but for your 4-legged babies! Definitely recommend.

The best doggie daycare! We've trusted A Dog's Life with our dogs since 2004. The staff really pays attention to their dogs and are true partners in caring for them. We come to A Dog's Life for daycare (and our dog comes back good-and-tired!) as well as when we have to be out of town for a few days. It's always a good sign when your dog wiggles with excitement to see a member of the staff at A Dog's Life!

Attentive care, friendly energetic staff, and the convenience of doggie "spa" services on site. The team was patient with my dog as she acclimated to our new work/daycare schedule, which made it all more comfortable for me too!

Great place for my pups! They look forward to going each time I drop them off. Love that I can also schedule bathes & grooming while they are in daycare and occasional sleep overs as well.

I highly recommend A Dog's Life Daycare as a way for dogs to get lots of social interaction. Our current 2.5 year old pup goes to A Dog's Life 2x a week. She always comes home happy and tired! We also had our previous dog there for over 10 years. I have seen this business grow over the years, as our first dog was a client when ADL's first opened.

The staff are all caring and dog lovers, and many of them are long timers, which says something. We get feedback if our dog has an upset tummy or if she has a behavior issue that needs to be addressed. That being said, dogs with serious issues are not allowed as there is a behavior evaluation before your pooch starts. The only negative thing I can think of is that the space is not huge, so this won't be the place for your dog to get a lot of running. However, they do get LOTS of play time as well as learning to socialize with other pups in a positive manner. Finally, there is a very good groomer that works in conjunction with A Dog's Life, so your dog can come home smelling nice with nails trimmed if that isn't up your alley. Thank you to everyone at ADL!

What an amazing place for your dog to learn and play! We've had two dogs there at different times over the years and have been consistently impressed with the staff and the facilities. The staff is amazing in how they care for the dogs, who are gently encouraged to play nicely and stay occupied. We have noticed over time how much more well adjusted our dogs got and how much they clearly love the A Dog's Life staff. I've met many of the staff over the years and respect the hiring process here. People make all the difference. It's obvious why A Dog's Life excels in its mission.

Love love love this place, so does my dog(s)! Experienced staff and you can tell they love dogs too! The dogs are always supervised and the staff is attentive to behaviors and how to positively correct them. It is clear that they are passionate about dogs. I had my first dog visit ADL for 5-6 years. When he passed away, I received a card signed by every single playgroup leader and ADL team with words of compassion.

Many members of the staff have been with ADL for years and they just became part of the family. I got a new pooch and the first thing I did was to sign him up for ADL so he can socialize and have tons of fun

I've been taking my dog here for a year. It is great to get him used to being out of the house, and I'm happy knowing he is well cared for and has plenty of other dogs to play with. Staff is super friendly!

A Dog's Life provides a great home away from Home for our dog. It is very rare to find such professional caring staff and such happy dogs. They have been with us every step of the way and provide a clean safe environment for our dog. They handle all requests expertly--dietary issues, vaccines, notes about behavior or health that they observe.

They are partners with us in the care Of our dog. This is the best place for your dog while you are at work. Socialization and good manners and access to expert on site grooming. Thank you ADL for providing the best care for our dog.

My dog LOVES A Dog's Life. They treat the doggies like their own. My dog is a hyper puppy and they have so much patience for her. I feel very lucky that I found this place for my pup and that they love her so so much.

We have been bringing our dog here since he cleared after his puppy shots. We've experienced nothing but kindness, love, and the highest level of care for our dog. This is truly a family business where they treat the dogs as their own. The staff is incredible.

The professionals at A Dog's Life do so much to make my little one feel comfortable. She gets a little nervous but they helped her to grow into doggie daycare by recommending certain days to start and then increasing frequency until she was able to go on any day. I know she is safe there because of their careful evaluation process, and she always comes home tired and happy.

They have very fair policies and pricing and it is super convenient to drop off here as they are located right off the 101. Even though my pup only goes intermittently as needed, they remember her. I recommend ADL over Wag Hotel.

I am so grateful to have found this place. When you have a young puppy, many places aren't so great with young dogs, but A Dog's Life does so well with young dogs, or any dog. Our corgi Rosie, they were so patient in how they introduced grooming (the shavers, nail clippers, and tools), so that she had a great experience. They also remembered Rosie each time, Rosie (and us owners) felt she was visiting a friend. Wouldn't think of taking Rosie anywhere else.

Super friendly staff! Took my pup here after I had trouble with another daycare. I've been to about 4 daycares total and this is the best I've found! I saw someone post about having issues with a refund but they gave me a refund for my package when I left automatically without even asking

$55 for a 40-lb Siberian Husky. Location looks "industrial" and I could hear dogs screaming for their dear lives outside of the dull, gray building. It looks like a small prison complex for our canine friends. I don't think she was nearly brushed out enough (had better groomers who spent 2-3 hours just brushing her coat away), and the sanitary trim was INSANELY sanitary (see photos attached). Overall, price was inexpensive and it got the job done - but I wasn't too blown away. I'll still be on the lookout for another groomer, but will continue to use their services meanwhile.

Our favorite groomer Lisa is no longer there, but they didn't tell my father that they switched groomers for our dog's regularly recurring appointment. They've also jacked up the prices significantly by 15-20% this past year, which felt like gouging. I can understand paying a few dollars more, but not that much more. Lisa is now at Groomingdales in Burlingame.

This review is for their grooming side. First time attempting to make an appointment with them, it took them three weeks to get back to me. That time we ended up using Doggieville, which was great. I decided to try to give them another chance, and two weeks ago I made an appointment for today. I was literally almost out the door this morning, when my phone rang to tell me their groomer had ran out and would have to cancel.

They only have ONE GROOMER on a Saturday!? I asked if I could bring her in during the week, but apparently their weekday groomer had also "ran out on them". I cannot believe that in this economy, businesses like this throw customers away like that. I will not be giving them another chance. I don't need people wasting my time like that again. I am looking for a new groomer, since Doggieville's groomer also left a while ago. What is it with groomers!?

It is so entirely yuppie to take your dog to daycare, but A Dog's Life has been a blessing in helping socialize, train and exercise our dog. Most staff members are professional pet trainers, and while the dogs get to run around and play quite a bit, training is incorporated all day long. Also, good dog behavior is mandated, and no aggressive behavior is ever tolerated.

The facility is relatively small, very bright and very clean--no doggie kennel smell whatsoever. There are after hours training classes offered by good trainers on subjects like obedience and agility. Boarding is offered, mainly through "sleepovers" where your dog goes to the house of a staff member. On big holidays, the whole facility becomes a cageless kennel with 24 hour a day staff, a great option.

My dog always leaves happy and exhausted, and very focused on obedience, and the staff is very friendly and supportive, so it's a very positive experience for a once every week or other week indulgence for us, even if I feel a little goofy telling people my "son" is in "daycare."
