Services
Regular wellness visits are an important part of your cat's health. Our doctors thoroughly examine your cat for any abnormalities or signs of disease that should be treated to help keep your cat as healthy as possible. Disease prevention measures and vaccinations are recommended as appropriate. Nutrition plays an enormous role in your cats health, and we can help you ensure that you are feeding your cat what it needs.
Our facilities were built with your cat in mind: our waiting room is quiet, free of barking dogs and sudden noises; our exam rooms are spacious, well-lit, and comfortable; our boarding suite has large condos for peaceful naps and a playroom for running and climbing.
Preventative care is the best way to keep your cat healthy, and vaccinations are some of the most effective methods of preventative care. By introducing a specific piece of a pathogen (usually a protein on or produced by the virus or bacteria), a vaccine encourages the cat's immune system to develop the appropriate response to that specific pathogen.
To avoid any sudden dietary changes that can result in stomach upset, we do request that you bring your cat's own food. An additional charge is applied for cats receiving medications. Please bring all medications in their original containers with the veterinarian's dosing instructions. We want your cat's stay with us to be happy and healthy; therefore, all cats will receive a check over by our veterinary technician.

Amazing! They provided kind and compassionate care to my young kitten, and I am very happy to have found such a great place to take my baby. The vet and the tech were just so nice! They were also able to get my baby in in just a week : would highly recommend to any cat owners needing a veterinarian in the area!

The staff at Affectionately Cats were very kind, professional and organized. They have a very efficient contact-less pet drop-off set up, and my cat was in and out of her routine check-up in under 30 minutes! The vet gave me a very detailed appointment summary and helpful tips on how to keep my cat healthy. I will definitely use them for my regular veterinary care!

Everyone I spoke to or interacted with at Affectionately Cats when I needed to bring my fur baby in for a skin issue was super friendly, understanding, patient, and treated Molly with the utmost care. They were timely, communicative, and I was able to get her in very quickly. Thanks so much y'all!

They were able to get my cat in within a few days when he had an ear infection and even though it wasn't typical, they figured out what was wrong quickly. A few days later his ear is doing much better. Our visit was very professional and low stress for our cat which was appreciated.

Over the past few months I have brought in 3 different foster kittens. My anxiety was heightened by their varying issues. Affectionately Cats staff were AWESOME. for each case, they asked questions about history, examined them, provided immense amounts of reassurance, offered suggestions, and gave me information on possibilities, affordable tests to evaluate, and what to look for.

I was pleased with their professionalism and attention to details that could become crucial in their care. AND EXAMS and vaccinations ARE important prior to spay or neuter surgery! One kitten had an upper respiratory infection, which could have been an issue with his neuter surgery, which is now rescheduled! Thank you Dr. Kessler, for checking him out and making suggestions to help!

Our cat has been a patient at Affectionately Cats for five years and it has been the best veterinarian practice we have used for any pet. They are knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, easy to reach and responsive. Our kitty has had excellent care and has also enjoyed boarding in their beautiful facility while we were on vacation. I highly recommend this feline veterinary practice.

So glad to find a caring local vet to care for my anxious kitty! Even with covid precautions (curbside drop off/pickup) the entire team made us feel cared for. Clear communications and clearly everyone loves cats! My sweetie is home and snuggled up in my arms. Thank you to Dr. Miner for being so kind and compassionate. (Photos to show the team what she's like when she's calmer!)

Have used this feline veterinary practice for about 20 years. Several of my cats have received early diagnosis of illness which has enabled early treatment. My cats reside in NY and take a ferry across Lake Champlain to reach the practice.

I have been going to Affectionately Cats for 18 years and I would never go anywhere else. They're thorough and compassionate, and they genuinely love cats. Every Wednesday they spend the whole day just doing low-cost spaying and neutering for cats in the community (although they still see patients if it's urgent). If they were a "money grubbing scam" like a couple reviewers have claimed, why would they spend one whole day a week doing this charitable work?

We have two cats rights now, both rescue cats, and they treat them like royalty. We are far from rich, even struggling to get by sometimes, and I think their prices are very fair - especially considering the level of care we receive.
