Services
We provide for your pet's every need in our clean and spacious climate controlled boarding facility. If your pet has special needs simply let our staff know when you book your pet's appointment. The treatment room is the center of the hospital. All non-sterile procedures are performed here. It also provides easy access to the surgical suite, radiology, hospital ward and boarding kennel.
The specialty of veterinary practice was established by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) - and is sanctioned by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) - to set standards for advanced professionalism in veterinary practice. The ABVP encourages excellence in clinical practice through the certification of species oriented specialists.
All of our boarding policies directly benefit the safety & well being of your pet. We will follow your feeding instructions and care for your pet to the best of our ability. A Board Certified Veterinarian supervises our climate-controlled kennel. If your pet shows any signs of contagious disease upon entry (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing or sneezing), your pet will be isolated from the other boarders and treated appropriately.

It is with great disappointment that I write this review. When I relocated to Wellington, I needed to find a vet for my 12 year old pup. My initial impression of this clinic was positive. I had several issues that came up and made me realize that they lack compassion for the animals and are all about the money. Their lack of willingness to investigate my dog's symptoms lead to an sinus infection. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated event.
Whenever a payment issue comes up, the doctors are nowhere to be found. You are then forced to speak with the staff which is less than helpful. They also have difficulty staying on schedule. Wait times of 30 + minutes is not unusual.

My cat, Mittens, was not well and Animal Healthcare got me in right away. I was very concerned. They were friendly, professional and helped me decide the right course of treatment. They were also very fair, as in price, and didn't rush to do expensive tests or treatments. Mittens got better, but it scared me. I would recommend Animal Healthcare Center and Use them again.

I love this place. Dr. Dew and his staff are wonderful and caring. My rescue fur baby has been going there for her vaccinations. She needed some dental work which went well. I highly recommend Animal HealthCare Center for all your needs. They also call me after a visit for a vaccination or other procedures to make sure my baby is ok. If I call and need to talk to Dr. Dew, he calls me back. I know several people who use Dr. Dew after problems elsewhere. It's just a great place

I have met all the vets here and they're all wonderful. My Yorkie got fixed here. I just went for her yearly exam with shots. Dr. Dew and the office manager really made her feel at ease. They gave her the biggest and warmest "hello". My baby relaxed so much, she kissed them both! Sue, a receptionist there, and my family and I have known each other for eons. She absolutely loves animals and is a real sweetheart. This is an awesome practice! Xoxo

We have been taking our animal to Animal Healthcare for more than 20 years. They have cared for 4 out of our 5 dogs. Dr. Dew is absolutely fabulous! He cares so much for the pets he treats. He gets right down on the same level as your animal. His staff demonstrates the same compassionate, caring attitude as Dr. Dew. We have also seen his associates through the years and have found them to be of the same mindset as Dr. Dew. We have recommended the facility to our family and friends and would not hesitate to recommend Animal Healthcare to anyone.

I cannot say enough about how OUTSTANDING this office is. The entire staff is so caring and kind. We brought our 10 yr old Tea Cup chihuahua in because she had stopped eating and she would cry out in pain, she was weak and could barely walk. The vet said she needed a few of her baby teeth pulled that never came out and she was dehydrated. The girls were so great and by the end of her next follow up visit, they were carrying her in their lab coat pockets when they could, just to keep her company.
I met with both vets over the course of the week and they were so informative and truly cared about getting our baby taken care of. The staff was also helpful with working out the financial aspect. I don't ever write reviews, but I feel like when you're looking for someone so important, you want to find the best.and they truly are.

Is vet is absolutely amazing. There was an issue with my dog when he started dragging his hind legs. I was freaking out. I had no idea what to do so my dad and I took my dog moose to go see her. She was extremely kind unlike other vets we've been to. Most vets will just tell you what you're doing wrong, belittle you, or make you feel like the worst pet owner ever.
But this vet she takes her time explaining details about what might be wrong what I can do and how I can do it. I've never felt more comfortable with a vet and I highly recommend her if I could give her more than five stars I would. Her staff is unbelievably amazing too. Her and her staff stayed after hours trying to figure out what was wrong with my pup. He is doing a whole lot better thanks to her.
