Great place to adopt a pet, they love animals and look to get good homes. Got me the best dog ever here

Lovely new building. Lots of space and clean. I was surprised at so few animals tho. Was looking for a younger dog to be used as an Alert dog under 20lbs. Only had one and was informed she rarely barked! So tried for a young cat to keep me company. They were in quaritine and were not available at that time. Rather a disappointing trip. Staff were nice and helpful tho.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They obviously love the animals they take care of and only want to help those animals and pet owners in need. Highly recommend for adoptions.

You really can tell the animals here are well cared for and loved. Everything is clean and organized, and I greatly admire the fact they don't euthanize animals that don't get adopted fast enough. Sadly, there are lots of animals that could use good homes, but that's no fault of the shelter. I got all my previous cats from this place, and I dont think I'd go anywhere else.

We recently had to give up a beloved pet after my grandmother wasn't able to take care of him and the people there were wonderful, the dog runs are huge, and it has greatly improved since the last time I was there, at their old location.

Beautiful facility, animals are happy, volunteers are friendly and know a lot about each individual pet. We cuddled with some sweet kitties and got to play with a fun litter of puppies. Cats and dogs have rooms with indoor and enclosed outdoor areas. Fun place to visit and would be an excellent place to adopt a new member of your family!

We got our dog, Beau, at Animal Protection Society. Animal Protection Society was clean and their service was pleasant. Their guard-cat was very friendly, he followed us on our trial walk with our then did to be. The raccoon hanging out with the guard-cat outside seemed a little shy, he ran off when we arrived. They couldn't tell is much about our dog's previous predicament, but we're happy we got him there. They had him roaming around the office, and he was apparently very popular among staff and visitors.

My husband and I adopted our 7 year old shepard mix Daphne last January knowing she was a rescue from Mexico. Daphne adapted very well to Northwest weather-even liked the 3 or so inches of snow Seattle gets sometimes. She did not like 4th of July nor the Blue Angels but overall has adapted well to being a Seattle dog. Thanks for uniting us.
