Services
At the Greenville Humane Society, we love and care for each pet as if they were our own. We work hard every day to provide homeless pets with more than just the basics of food and shelter-our pets receive daily enrichment, loving attention, and medical care. Beyond adoption, we offer a wide variety of preventative services like vaccinations and spay/neuter to make proper pet care affordable for our community so that all pets can be pets for life. Lots of hard work, passion, and support from the community and people just like you.
Adopting a pet is a big responsibility. Your new fur baby will bring endless joy to your life, but with that joy comes new demands. Consider your lifestyle. We understand that you may have fallen in love with a specific breed of animal, but that you still want to rescue. Certain breeds don't end up in shelters very often such as purebred animals, designer mixes such as Goldendoodles, or hypoallergenic animals, but we do have them on occasion. Greenville Humane Society is the best place for a pet parent to come to make sure all of your fur babies are healthy, happy and thrive! They have flexible hours, a vaccine clinic with walk-in hours, and extremely courteous AND knowledgeable staff. They have the CHEAPEST prices for flea/tick/parasite control and prevention that I have found.and believe me when I tell you I have spent more hours than I would like to admit researching the competition, including buying these items on-line!

This means I never have to skip these necessary products because of the related expense. I have had many dogs and cats through the years and The Greenville Humane Society has always been there to spay/neuter/microchip my beloved pets.

I took my one year old GSD in to be spayed. The whole process was quick and organized. Even though it was crowded, both admission and pick up went fast. Willa was very well cared for and the price is more than reasonable. I was doubtful at first because the process has changed. I logged into the website and requested an appointment. It took a few weeks to get a reply.
The email reply had my appointment and very clear instructions. The appointment was about 6 weeks out from the email. If you want to use this service, request your appointment as early as possible.

This is a amazing place filled with employees who go above and beyond to provide the love, care, and chance of happiness that so many animals are in need of today. Had an absolutely fantastic experience taking our female cat to get fixed. Drop off was extremely easy as well as pickup. Our cat is on the small side along with also being in heat while they did the procedure. Very small up-charge 10-20$ and ours ended up being 10. The healing process has went extremely well and the cut looks extremely clean and very well done. Overall the place was extremely clean with super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a super affordable yet still very safe clean environment!

We went there to find our new family member and they were so nice and helpful. They let us meet Charlie and we are so very thankful that we found him. It was nice not to be interrogated as some places do. I can understand why they do it but sometimes it's overkill. They don't charge outrageous prices and the facility was extremely clean. We have always been dog people and love our animals and treat them like family. Thank you again for being so wonderful. Eddie and Pam Roberts
