We always welcome all new clients and their cats and dogs to our pet care family. When needed, we are happy to assist with the transfer of necessary medical records. We feel you will be impressed with our experienced veterinarians, our caring staff, and our clean fully equipped hospital. We are entering our 29th year of serving the pet care needs of the community. We have been an accredited hospital by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1989.
Services
We recommend an annual health examination, and vaccinations for all pets. For dogs, we suggest annual heartworm testing and preventatives. Puppies, kittens and newly acquired pets should be screened for intestinal parasites. New cats and kittens should be tested for feline leukemia. We strongly recommend spaying and neutering for non-breeding pets.
Since your pets can't talk to you when something is wrong with them, it can be hard to determine whether or not they are feeling well. Any change you see in your pet's typical eating habits should warrant a visit to the veterinarian. While the actual cause of the eating habit changing is a case by case scenario based on many factors, it is important to understand why your pet has the eating habits it does and when your pet's doctor believes you should be concerned.Depending on your location, this could be a result of the weather or climate that you are living in, but for most, excessive thirst and drinking can be a sign that something is going on in your pet's body.
Dental care is an important and often overlooked factor in keeping your pet healthy and happy. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by three years of age. Consistent home dental care and routine professional examinations can help prevent problems like bad breath or oral infections.
Pet vaccinations are important for all dogs and cats; even the ones that remain indoors most, if not all, of the time because they could still catch an airborne virus from outside at potty time or through an open window or door screen. More often than not, viruses are spread due to contact with other infected animals that are wild or whose owners did not elect to keep their pet vaccinations up to date.

Arrowhead Animal Hospital is truly the best. We took our sweet Hades into an emergency check up since he was experiencing sudden symptoms. Upon our arrival we checked in and a vet tech came to take a look at our boy. Immediately she assessed his health and took him in for treatment. Unfortunately, our boy did not make it. During the time he was there the vet techs were very attentive to him and us.

They were patient and explained everything we needed to know. They let us be with him during his treatment. Once the decision was made they took us into a different room which was set up comfortably to say our goodbyes and be with our boy for the last time. Everyone was so nice and caring and made this horrible situation a little more bearable. My husband and I are super appreciative of the staff. Thank you all.

First time bringing my older cat here. Dr Fields and her tech were so kind and knowledgeable. I explained my concerns with them and we came up with a treatment plan. They listened and I truly appreciate that. I know my boy better than anyone and they understand that. Goose is on the mend, thanks to them. They don't charge and arm and a leg either.

I feel the pricing was spot on. Every member of their care team has been so helpful. From the multiple calls I had made prior to my visit to the follow up. Yup, these guys are awesome!

I took my little guy here last night after he ate half of a bar of dark chocolate and the staff was fantastic. They got him in very quickly and did all that they could to get everything out of his system. After everything, he was back to his normal self and showed affection to the people who just spent 30 minutes making him puke. They're just that great!

Even just hearing the staff talk to each other in another room, you can tell that they work as a team and that they really love their patients. I highly recommend them for your emergencies!

I have had very few good experiences at the vet in a urgent situation. The staff here are great! My dog completely broke her nail and the vet technician was the best with our scared little girl! The vet was great as well, made sure she was as comfortable as she could be without any unnecessary drugs. Now after our visit she is comfy and her happy self. Thank you to all the staff for making this experience truly one of a kind.

All of the staff are wonderful. Their quick reaction to our sick dog was very appreciated. Also, their diagnosis helped our dog heal quickly. We've used them several times and all have been exemplary! Can't recommend them enough!

I recently switched all my fur babies over to Arrowhead Animal Hospital, and all of the vets and vet techs are just amazing. Everyone takes great care of them, they all communicate so well, and keep me updated on making sure my pets are healthy and taken care of. I feel the price for what I haven paid so far for check ups and shots and everything is fair, and all the employees are always sweet and friendly. I definitely would recommend anyone taking your pets here! Thanks for all you do!

My Chihuahua was seen by Dr Adams today. She was helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. The team who we encountered was also beyond helpful. Amie at the front desk was prompt to get us in and requested records on our behalf to save a step so I could begin heading that way! Destiny, the vet tech who met us at the car was friendly and listened attentively. I love that they are open 7 days a week and happy to say my 4 pups and I have found a new neighborhood vet!

I brought my cat in for an emergency visit today. This is always very stressful for him and he meows a lot when he's anxious. I stepped away to take a call while the receptionist watched him. Normally he doesn't let anyone touch him. When I came back from the call the receptionist had my cat in her arms like an infant. It was like this was a totally different cat. He was letting her hold him! I was so surprised that he was so comfortable with a stranger. I will come here for all my pets needs in the future. Great place!
