We can't thank the staff at Austin Avenue Pet Clinic enough for their excellence in palliative care for my daughter's guinea pig, Brownies. Brownies had an inoperable tumor, but the staff took time to express their condolences, talked us through our options and when we needed to have our piggy put to sleep, they sat with and comforted my daughter.

It was a sad and unfortunate decision to have to make, but their compassion was a help and not another emotional hurdle to overcome. Thank you. With love from Brownies' family.

Honestly This Vet Clinic does not do what they say they will do. I brought my cat here because he had a UTI and said he could go home since they had done "Labs" on him and said he would be fine but 1 day later he went into shock because this vet clinic did not do labs. My poor baby died 3 hours later due to kidney failure. So I would recommend go somewhere else that actually cares about the animals brought there.

This pet clinic should not advertise an emergency number when there is no such service. All they do is send you a phone number to Abilene from an answering service. This weekend during the Christmas holidays my beautiful friend, my cat, was very ill. I called multiple times but there was no response or call back. Simply just given a number in Abilene a trip which my cat could not have made.

He subsequently died. these people murdered my cat from their lack of response. I will never forgive them for their callous and heartless behavior despite my repeated pleas for help

Easily the best vet we've gone to. Dr. Bailey and his whole staff are super knowledgeable, but do a great job of explaining things. They're where we go to for everything for our animals from vaccines to emergency care.

Very nice staff. Doctors are knowledgeable and honest. Prices are fair and lower than other vets I have been to. Compassionate staff helped me feel better when I had to put down my pet/friend.

I really appreciate Dr Bailey. He is compassionate An knowledgeable. I really like his staff. When I board my 3 babies they send me text An pics to reassure me all is well. I don't have the same glowing words for his groomer. Even though I have asked to not trim too close as this burns their skin it still happens. I will continue to use the good Dr and his boarding but not his groomer!

I called on a Sunday. My dog was vomiting and pooping blood. Pretty urgent. Answering service assured us we would get a call within 15 minutes. One question hit me. "are you a client?" Well no, but I was about to be. My dog was critically ill. 30 -40 minutes pass by. No call. We called AGAIN, so anxious about our dog. Well, we never got a call. My dog died about 4 hours later.

Can you imagine the pain of having a sick and dying dog, and you are waiting for a call that never comes? Please, just be honest with your after hours calls, if we aren't a client, then for heaven's sake don't give us false hope for a call that never comes!
