Went to purchase a hamster for my daughter. It was about 5 minutes before their posted open time but they opened the doors because two guests were already waiting outside. Might not seem like a big deal but I was in a rush and was super thankful. Most stores won't open even a minute before their posted open time. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the pets.
I was greeted right away and offered assistance. Even my checkout experience was fantastic. We drive past at least two other pet stores to shop here because of the large selection and knowledgeable & pleasant staff.

This store is operated so well. A single family owns and operates this business. When you enter B&B, you are immediately greeted by an employee/assistant whom is cheerful, knowledgeable of products/services, and overall helpful. They have plenty of team members to sustain this service. The keep plenty of stock on hand. There is no reason to go to a franchise type pet store in Mobile; we are fortunate to have this 'diamond' of a pet store here.

I could not be happier with the service I received today! I am starting my first saltwater fish tank and came in today to purchase EVERYTHING. Kayla was the employee who helped me and let me say she went above and beyond everything I needed. She was super polite and extremely informative. I had a very odd request of storing water for my drive home and she was able to make it happen smoothly! This woman needs a pay raise! Thank you!

I have been with them for years for fish tank services and never thought that they would treat a customer like myself so poorly. Due to their lacking of communication and maintenance A LOT died in the tank. They didn't really seem to care either. There are considered my pets B &B since I have taken care of them for at least 5-6 years or more. I am so glad I am no longer with u guys and found someone that is willing giving my tank the time and care they needed.

My kids love visiting B&B on Cottage Hill. Every time we are there we have several employees approach to see if we need any help. On this recent visit we did and they found us exactly what we were looking for. The animals and fish look healthy and well taken care of. We love that you can pet the rabbits and guinea pigs and they have a large selection of birds, turtles, cool fish and aquarium plants to view.
There are always things to pick up for our fish and dogs. The prices are reasonable and the experience fun for children. They are the only store in town that our fish have survived from. No more Walmart fish in our house.

I LOVE B&B. We got our first dog when I was 5 (I'm 21 now) and ever since then B&B has been our go to pet store, 3 dogs, 1 guinea pig, and countless fish later. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and true animal lovers. They carry my dog's food and all the treats he loves most. Over the years I have purchased 1 guinea pig and several fish from them.
I am in their rewards program which is honestly a really good program. It's such a treat for my dog when we get to go to the store and it keeps him social and happy. Employees always pet him and talk to him. I have never had a bad experience here and I highly doubt I ever will. Come here for all your pet needs and #shoplocal

We discovered B & B when we were looking for a place to bathe our Standard Poodles. Their $5 Wet Dog Wednesday is a great service! As part of the experience, you select the shampoo of your choice. We usually opt for the oatmeal blend. The three tubs are located in the dog section on the right side of the store. There are ramps for dogs to walk up into the tubs and hooks if you need to toggle them.
There are always fresh towels to dry your pups and of course pet blow dryers. ( We actually bring our own dryer since it is a little bit more powerful.) Be sure to bring combs and brushes if you need them for your dog. Great place with a friendly staff. We are regulars!

It was THIS store where we purchased the fish from employee that said 2 week guarantee. When we brought the fish back in an hour because one of our established fish was going to beat him up, they would not stand by the guarantee and the employee was still THERE! Good experience in other areas but just not a good place to buy fish.

The Best! I've been going to B & B Pet Stop for years! About 7 yrs ago, I purchased a sun conure from them, and since then, he always goes back for his regular wing and nail clips. Most people there know me and they know Virgil ( my bird), and they say he's a really good bird! Everyone there is very nice, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. It's a great place to go for all your pets needs, and I love to go up there once a week or so and see what birds they have and hang out talking with them!,

Love me some B & B! They have a wonderful selection of products that aren't available at other stores, plus an incredible variety of livestock. They have pets that no one else within a two hour drive can even get, let alone carry on the regular basis. I am constantly impressed with their fantastic commitment to the community! With their round up program, weekly community adoptions, organized adoption events, and family (kid) friendly events. B & B has something for everyone. Keep it up guys! Yall rock!
