Bark Stix The original treat resembled a livered, crunchy bread stick - new shapes have now been added to the repertoire. While wearing the OutFox Field Guard, your dog can pant, sniff, drink & play as usual! This lightweight and durable mesh hood helps you protect your dog from painful & expensive injuries caused by foxtails embedding in the eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

The Field Guard will help also prevent your dog from eating harmful objects. Penny knows Sergio brings the special treats, BARK STIX, to her, so each time she hears the truck in our neighborhood she runs to the gate.

Healthy local treats of the best quality for your dogs. We can't stock our shelves fast enough with their sweetie pies : And the owner is a wonderful advocate of grey hounds. Tiffany adores going to Bark Stix.

The bf and I came in on a Saturday, not realizing they were already closed for the day but the owner came out as I walked away and let us in anyway. It's a small little space that sells mostly dog stuff (but I saw they also had some cat, fish and bird stuff too). We got to see the spacious back area where the treats are made using the freshest local ingredients.

When we were there they were making Sweetie Pies, which our dog Elsie happens to love. When they came out of the oven it made even us hungry! It's a mixture of sweet potato and chicken. Elsie also goes nuts for Lucy's Short Stix, a mixture of organic while wheat flower, beef liver, rolled oats, carrots, bacon and parsley. I thought it was so cool of the owner to let us in even though she had closed up for the day and I really enjoyed learning about her background and how they got started.

Really sweet woman who loves what she does, the passion comes through in her product. Bonus points for 5% of Bark Stix profits donated to the Greyhound Welfare Foundation! :)

I attended an animal adoption event here last year and had a good time! We got to tour the factory portion where the treats are made and meet animals from a few local rescue groups. I don't know if I would go out of my way to visit the store though. I found it to be too expensive for my pocket book and it had a very small selection of products. I'm glad to see that they have so many fans as I definitely support local businesses as well as anyone who helps with animal rescue.

Hanna H.- just for you. I tried it again. This time I got a ride over there. I brought a friend with me and we both agreed. NO BUENO! We were not treated nicely. Even if someone is "serious about their business", you still have to make people feel welcome! So you can "defend" this store all you want to, but I can only post MY experience. The woman that was working, also bad mouthed the new Pet Supply Store in town. Is that good business? My friend doesn't do Yelp or it would be two bad reviews!

Great store nice selection of pet foods and treats. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about organic pet foods. Their all-organic treats are made fresh onsite and my dog Mr. T absolutely loves them. I always have a great experience every time I go to Bark Stix. If you care about your pet's health this is the place to shop.

I feel the need to defend Bark Stix against the one-star reviewer who probably only went there once. The owner, Kate, has an amazing bond with her greyhounds (probably moreso with them than with most people I would imagine, its true). If you spent any amount of time there you would see that she's polite enough but serious about her business. You can tell she places her dogs' health as a top priority.

I buy Bark Stix products so that my dogs with be the indirect beneficiaries of this bond - if they eat what she feeds her dogs, I'm sure they'll stay in tip top shape. And honestly, we've been buying the frozen organic raw dog food for my spoiled mutts and I swear I could eat it in a pickle. So go support your local businesses and be glad you did.

We boarded our greyhound, Ginger Snap, wit Bark Stix a few weeks ago for ten days. The staff there so obviously love dogs, and just as important, they know how to take care of them. When we picked her up, Ginger was calm and relaxed. If you have greyhounds, you know they can become nervous based on their surroundings. There is no better testimony than Ginger's demeanor to tell me this is a great place. I highly recommend Kate and her team for both delicious doggie delights and boarding services. We will use them again without a doubt.

My dogs protest dinner unless they get a BarkStix at the end. spoiled! Really these must be super delicious (I'll leave it up to RooRoo and Damon to let me know). Their favorite is the Napa's Little Liver Nuggets. They are about the size of a big gum ball so my hounds are happy about that. I guess if you get the big bag, there is a gumball machine optional purchase. Cute, huh? Sophies Pix is sort of a mixed nuts sampler bag. And.yes, well.hum.they even have a 'fart buster' enzyme digestive aid treat.

Treat for them or us? Ha! No kidding. Small company, cool concept, organic and portion of the income goes to Greyhound Rescue. Nice to see someone actually making something in the US of A, plus it makes dogs happy!
