Dr. Brooks earned his DVM from the University of Florida in 1990 after earning his Bachelors in Agriculture there previously. He began his career in Winter Park as an associate then partner. He sold his practice and moved to Bartow in 2000. Dr. Brooks is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club.

Dr. Brooks and his staff are the best. We recently found out one of our five fur babies has cancer. Dr. Brooks has taken so much time to answer all of our questions. I had additional questions after getting home from an appointment and he took time out of his day to call me to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. Our five fur babies love him and his staff.
I have never had a dog that I didn't have to drag into the vet's office until I started going here. When your dog actually prances in, tails wagging, and smiling(yes bullies smile), you know you have found the right vet. Thank you Dr. Brooks and staff for going above and beyond with our five crazies.

I had to put my dog, Jack, to sleep and not only was the staff wonderful, but the vet started praying as Jack went. I was inconsolable until Dr. Brook prayed over him and us. Anyone who needs a vet I recommend him highly. I've already told family and friends. To top it off, a few days later my family received a sympathy card. I wasn't here when it arrived, but I finally saw it and each staff member and the doctor wrote us a little something. Words can't express the gratitude and appreciation I have for them.
