Ryan Douglas, owner and Head Trainer at Born to Lead K-9 Academy, is a certified master dog trainer titled in obedience and behavior modification. He is a professional member of the IACP and a graduate of North State Canine where he studied under one of the world's leading canine trainers and completed several months of extensive, hands-on training. Ryan's personal experiences alone give him tremendous insight into dog training, however, his formal education qualifies him as one of Raleigh's most accomplished and well-credentialed trainers available to the public.
Ryan has over 15 years experience training dogs and through the years has also worked with some of the best canine trainers around. However, Ryan’s best teachers have always been the dogs. Ryan is not a breed specific trainer and he is prepared to work with any breed, of any age or temperament. He is constantly reminded that the key to unlocking any dog’s true potential is to properly communicate with them and to fulfill their needs.
