Canine Cabana

I am so happy to have found Canine Cabana! My high energy, 1-year-old Golden needed socialization and training. We did the 3 week training program and it has helped him tremendously. Everyone who has worked with him has been so great with him. We now lodge him there as needed, and he is always excited as soon as we get there which tells me he loves it.

They all recognize him and greet him when I drop him off like he's part of the crew. I also had him groomed there and they did a great job with his bath and haircut as well. I highly recommend them for all of their services!

We've brought our Golden retriever/Lab to the Cabana since he was 6 months old. He's in tact & the Cabana was the only place that we inquired with that would take him. Trooper is going to be 3yrs old in a couple months & I can't express enough the gratitude I feel towards the staff for the excellent care they've provided him. Thanks so much to the staff at Canine Cabana & the wonderful care you've provided to my boy!

Canine Cabana has a professional team that loves dogs. They took care of my 3 year old lab for a weekend. He ate his food which indicates he wasn't stressed and had fun playing with the other dogs. The staff always screen new dogs to make sure they will get along with other dogs. Overall a great experience with a trustworthy team.

Winston has been to Canine Cabana for training and for boarding since we got him as a puppy. He loves it there. The staff are wonderful and truly love each one of their charges. Winston has been socialized well and is happy when he stays. Thank you Canine Cabana for your spectacular service!

I knew that I wanted to put My German Shepherd puppy into training and was recommended Canine Cabana by another trainer. I loved the fact the offered orientation so I knew what to expect and where to begin with. The evaluation help set a game plan for training ahead including areas that needed to be worked on and areas we were already good. The trainers took the time to listen to my concerns and offer suggestions when necessary.

His first week of training for Cabana Manners was great we even did a consultation so he know show off what he learned! I loved the mini day to day updates at pick up. They are very good with learning your pet and what works best for that pet. Samir being a German Shepherd and only 8 months still is working on playing nicely. The trainers monitored him and Saw that his play style was very much rough and tumble so promoted him to enrichment which was less dogs more human contact and it worked for the better. Samir got sick and couldn't return for about two weeks and the staff called to check on him.

They really showed they care about him. His second week of training he did a board and learn due to schedule changes of my job which made it impossible for me to meet the pickup time at 6. He stayed a week and the staff kept me informed when I called. Now we're headed into the final week of Cabana Manners and I'm a bit sad it's almost over. I love spotting him on Facebook and seeing him enjoy learning.

It was our first day but I was so happy! I feel like everyone I spoke to legitimately cared and Vicky was so nice and knowledgeable! Obviously their goal is to get more dogs signed up, but she TRULY and genuinely sounded like she cared about the socialization issues my other dog is having. It was such a relief and I'm so excited to see if both dogs can thrive at Canine Cabana!

It's also so tough to find places that will take intact males (we're taking care of that soon) so even better that Dodger had a great day and made new friends! Fingers crossed for Lady to join her brother there soon!

When you have fur babies and move to a new home, you have to find services for everything including groomers. I reached out to my Nextdoor group for recommendations and Someone shared Canine Cabana. Bruiser is a Yorkie, 16 years old, hard of seeing and hearing. He was treated so very well and they have made a customer for life. Bruiser and I recommend Canine Cabana without hesitation.

Canine Cabana is the ultimate dog playground! When you find a very friendly place where you observe the front desk, trainers, pickup team, all of the staff are happy you know that your dog will get great care. Never mind mommy, but my puppy is super picky! So far she received good training, and had been better in socializing with other dogs. Thank you Canine Cabana

Took my one year old Australian Labradoodle, Kitt, to get groomed and had a great experience! Kara, the groomer, took great care of my Kitt and did a beautiful job grooming her! Front desk has great customer service as well when it came to talking on the phone prior and getting the appointment scheduled. Really happy with my experience.

Today was orientation day for my fur baby. While I can't comment fully, my initial impressions are sincerely positive. Great, warm & welcoming staff (Katlynn & Austin), Handlers, Chris & Michael, seem very knowledgeable & comforting. My fur baby passed out when we arrived home. So I know he at least had a mind engaged day and also played. All the things which help him to develop and grow, and mommy gets a little break to began yard repair. Can't wait for day 2.

Our Sadie loves going to Canine Cabana they have been professional in their training program's and the everyday daycare. We feel that she is safe and learning at Canine Cabana.

This was my first time and I brought my dog to be groomed by Kara. She did a wonderful job. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I'll definitely be coming back.

Took my dog, Kira, for her first day today and was already satisified with the tour I had received a few weeks ago. Facility is clean, plenty of big yards, lots of stuff to keep the dogs busy and happy! Today I was happy to see focus on making sure my dog was comfortable and not rushing anything to quickly. They gave her friends to play with once she was ready and she even played in the water! I'm happy to say I will continue to bring her here and buy her a membership as soon as I have the money!

I was referred By a family member, and from the moment I arrived I was very impressed. Very neat, clean, and everyone was so kind and welcoming to my puppy. I was able to enjoy my vacation without concern because they kept me informed on all of his activities and movements, when I came to retrieve my puppy and I could feel that he was well taken care of and happy! I will definitely continue to have him come and stay each time I take a vacation!

The facility is clean with a lot of outdoor space and activities for the dogs and the staff is fantastic. I am thankful for the care they gave our girls and that I did not have to worry knowing the dogs were getting plenty of attention and time outside.

We have been bringing our boy Charlie for doggie daycare for the past few months and couldn't be happier! He is always full of excitement when we drop him off. It has been wonderful for his socialization, and we can always count on a tired pup. The staff is wonderful always friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and fun. Special events and activities are an awesome addition to the regular services. I highly recommend Canine Cabana Riverview.

We chose Canine Cabana because we were moving to the area and wanted to board our golden, Wrigley, instead of keeping him in the hotel room. We also didn't want him to bolt while the movers were here. The staff was incredibly nice. The place is clean, very bright and airy. My dog did have an incident there (no fault to them, he suffers from anxiety with thunderstorm) and they called me to let me know. They have great communication. My dog came home tired and happy! Will definitely use them again.

Today was my puppy orientation day. From the first call until today the service and attention have been amazing. They show they really care of the dogs and theirs owners. When I picked him up today, he looked happy, and that means a lot to me.

Canine cabana is an amazing place for your dog. The entire staff is kind and knowledgeable. They treat my pups like they're their own dogs and Blue and Raven can't wait to come back and play each time. Even if your dog is not very sociable, they have special daycare sessions for every type of dog out there and will work with their needs. I would recommend them to anyone.

Thank you, Canine Cabana staff, for being the most caring, most attentive, most compassionate group of people Toby and I have ever used! We appreciate so much your having his best interests at heart, especially since he is deaf and you spend extra loving care with him. You go the extra mile to please whatever it costs and takes. I am always at peace with him in your care. Your love and attention are worth every penny spent!

MONEY HUNGRY AND NOT ACCOMMODATING WHATSOEVER! Day care for my dog was $28 but he only gets "individual playtime" with only the trainer for 30 minutes, NO dog interaction at all. The rest of the daycare time he is being crated. $28 for 30 minutes of playtime with a person and being crated all day? I might as well pay myself or a WAG walker for that time.

I requested to crate my dog only for Lodging/Boarding, they did not accommodate for that saying "it is thanksgiving and the high energy of the place, your dog might get sick being crated only". MISLEADING INFORMATION, a dog will not get sick being crated for boarding and having small potty breaks; that is why Vet boarding is all crate boarding. I paid enough money for this place and will NOT return.

Funny thing is My colleague said that he also had the same exact experience with this place 4 years ago after I told him about my story. Choose some other place if you can. NOT camp bow wow or Canine Cabana.

This place was awesome. They were not only nice when booking and dropping my dogs off but they kept me informed. My dogs did end up with a little cold and they were awesome. The manager Kara and Staff were so great. I was able to speak to Kara right away. She followed up with me immediately. I told her the time frame of going to the vet and I didn't even have to call her.

I was able to send the vet invoice over right away. They are super amazing! My dogs came out happy when I picked them up too. I will be going back and would highly recommend them and make sure to do the insurance its a dollar a day and worth it. I am giving them 5 stars!

I called Canine Cabana to schedule boarding for my dog. The woman I spoke with was polite: I answered questions about my dog and gave her my credit card to reserve. So far so good. However, the morning we were flying out of town my husband dropped him off only to find out we didn't have a reservation. Really? Then why did you have my credit card on file?.Then they 'found' my reservation but had our return date 3 days earlier than we discussed on the phone.

Instead of just extending it she gave my husband a hard time and acted as though they couldn't be flexible. It was alittle stressful considering we were flying out of town that morning! Luckily another woman came up to the front and took care of it. It was my first time going there and probably my last.

We were visiting Tampa for the RV Show and wanted our 2 Boykin Spaniels to have fun during the day. Canine Cabana's staff was very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Both pups were tired every evening after we picked them up. Thank you for being so nice - we'll give you more notice when we come back next year.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. Initially, I was impressed with how thorough they were during the initial phone interview where we discussed my dog's health history. The staff member was knowledgeable about bloat in Great Danes, and I felt so relieved that I could leave my dog in great hands. Less than 24 hours into my trip, my dog developed separation anxiety and nausea (no fault of Canine Cabana- my nervous pup always does this when I have to board her) and the staff at Canine Cabana noticed immediately.

A staff member notified me by phone and was quick to address my anxious dog's needs, as well as my concerns, as I wasn't able to travel home. I would like to thank Angie, one of the owners, for caring enough about my dog to take her to the veterinarian for evaluation, and for keeping an extra special eye on my pooch for the rest of her stay at their facility.

As a new transplant to the Tampa area, I am thankful to have found this business, and I recommend it whole-heartedly to anyone who has to board a furry friend. Each and every staff member I have encountered in person or via phone has been extremely friendly and professional. One individual even upgraded my reservation to 2 play times during the last day of my dog's stay because it was going to save me money that way. I'm not sure why another reviewer didn't have all positive things to say about this business, because it really is the BEST boarding facility in the area. Steer clear of one particular place in South Tampa!

Thank you to the staff at Canine Cabana for all the extra love & attention you gave my "mean ol' Sven". You went over and beyond to help us train & socialize him. Loved the photos of him playing at school! I would highly recommend you guys! Keep up the great work!

If anyone in the Tampa/Sarasota area is looking for a place to board their dog, I enthusiastically recommend Canine Cabana Florida! My Labradoodle, Mr Furley, is wiped out from his weekend in their care. I took a tour of the facility and not only are they clean and professional, but I could tell that they really cared about every dog there. I know my dog is a handfull, but the staff adapted to his needs and provided a safe, enjoyable experience while we were away.

When I picked him up, I was given a detailed behavior analysis and learned quite a bit about my pup that I didn't know! It was fascinating to hear how he behaved while I was away, and how he interacted with the staff and other dogs. Kendall and her staff are amazing animal professionals and I wouldn't want to leave my pup with anyone else. If my dog can't come on vacation with me, I'm so happy to know that I have a facility that I can trust with his care. Canine Cabana is the best!

Canine Cabana is a wonderful place for our dog. She absolutely LOVEs going here and comes home tired. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The facility is safe and clean. We visited some other day cares before going here and the yards were small, if I was a dog I would want these huge yards to run and play in. They also do baths and other services, all done well. I highly recommend Canine Cabana.
