Treating a sick pet is about so much more than pills or shots. It's about forming relationships-knowing the animals and owners well enough to provide personal and individualized care. Animal Care has provided veterinary services in Ipswich for over 40 years, and over that time we've helped hundreds of pet owners benefit from our attentive, team-oriented approach.
Services
At Animal Care in Ipswich, we focus on relationships. Our goal is to develop a bond with the animals under our care while understanding the joy your pet brings to your life. Our staff will ensure that you and your pet are comfortable and listened to and that they receive personalized and honest attention.
Emergencies are our priority and will receive our attention first. If you have an emergency you should first call the office to make sure the doctor is available and to prepare us for your arrival. In a situation like this, you should first call the office and we will give you assistance according to your situation.
We know and empathize that choosing a kennel for your dog is a difficult decision. With that in mind, our goal is to ensure that your dog has as much fun with us as you do while you're on your trip. We customize your dog's boarding experience to his/her individual needs. If your dog prefers to be the only one outside, or needs extra one-on-one time, we'll make sure they have their needs met.

Love the vet and love the staff. We have been going now for almost 2 years and I cannot complain. They are helpful and send reminders if you forget your flea and tick or heartworm pills. Everyone is helpful and answers all your questions. Would recommend them to anyone.

I have had a very grumpy cat for about ten years now. Over the years he has warmed up to me about 1%, and on very rare occasion sits on my lap. He has had a mystery skin condition resulting in him tearing apart a large patch of skin on his chest for years now. I brought him to our usual vet many times with limited, temporary success in treating it.

After one visit to Animal Care his skin condition has been cleared up for at least a month now. He also has been purring and affectionate for the first time in the ten years I've known him! I am so happy that this cat is finally behaving like a normal cat, and I am so grateful to the staff at Animal Care for giving this old cat some happy times. Thank you so much for helping me with my cat!

All the staff and Dr Cooke have been wonderful with my dog. She gets very nervous at the vets, and they always do their best to put her at ease. Exceptional service; you can tell they really care about the animals

Dr. Cooke and her team are professional, friendly and very responsive. We never had a puppy before Lucy and we've had a few challenges (colds, allergic reactions etc.). Every interaction with Dr. Cooke is informative and positive. We can tell that Dr. Cooke and her team really cares about Lucy's physical and emotional well being. My husband and I are thrilled with both the customer service and medical care.

I use these guys for boarding and they are awesome! We drive all the way from Boston just so Kenny can have a stay in the country as we put it. Kenny, my beloved Akita, isn't the nicest guy around and the folks at Animal Care just love him and take great care of him. They are super good about keeping his playtime separate from the friendly dogs.

Everyone there is personable and they remember the little things like when he eats, how much, what he likes, etc. After calling him a goof ball we knew this was the place for him. We totally trust these guys and love them to death. Thanks Animal Care for giving us peace of mind when we have to leave our "problem child" behind.
