If you've never used a pet sitting service before, then you are in for a pleasant surprise! Most pet owners do not like leaving their pets at a kennel. There are some pets that would do benefit being at a kennel because of medical issues or separation anxiety destructive behavior, but most pets would LOVE to stay home instead of going to a strange and noisy place.Many pets get stressed and confused when they're dropped off at a kennel. Some pets are fine and adjust quickly to the kennel environment, but many dogs and cats get scared, confused and worried.

Miller and his team at Carolina Pet Sitters are the absolute best! I could not ask for more reliable and compassionate care for my animals when I am away. They communicate well, making reservations is easy, and after three years they have never let me down. We were recently quarantined internationally (unexpectedly) for over two weeks and Miller and Kim made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing. They always go above and beyond to make sure my home and animals are well cared for and are just the nicest people to work with.

This family run business has been watching our dogs for three years. A good friend of mine recommended them to us when we moved to the Columbia area in 2018. Miller is super reliable and always writes a brief note for each of his visits. They will accommodate almost any schedule and you have a lot of flexibility in the number of visits per day and the timing of the visits. Our family has used Carolina Pet Sitters for 17 years. We have many pets and they always take the best care of all of our critters - from bearded dragon and turtle to cats and dogs. The only people we would trust our fur and reptile babies to. Never have to worry about anything while away as I know Miller and Kim will take care as if it were their own home.

We are very happy with Carolina Pet Sitters. Miller has been taking care of our dogs for five years now. When I am off during school holidays and summer break, Miller leaves a note about how happy they are to see him again. He leaves a daily scoop on how the dogs are doing. He is there for you on very short notice. We are very grateful that he also brings in our packages left by the postal services. We highly recommend Carolina Pet Sitters! You won't be disappointed.

We regularly used Carolina Pet Sitters for two years for out of town trips ranging from 4 to 7 days. When Miller came for the initial visit to meet our two cats, he was very engaging and respectful with them, which showed us he clearly had experience with cats. He was always reliable, flexible (when we had to extend a trip), and very friendly and pleasant to work with.
We had much more peace of mind leaving our cats at home and having Miller come take care of them, than we did bringing them to a kennel, like we had in the past. The only reason we are no longer customers is because we moved out of state. 5 out of 5!

I have been using Carolina Pet Sitters for several years now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Dependable and trustworthy, I can leave town and have no worries about my pets and home. They have never let me down, not once. I have used them anywhere from two days to two weeks at a time and this is such a better option than boarding. I have been a customer for a year now. I would not think of using another company! They are great! Good Communication; pricing is fair; my neighbors have told me of the great service they perform with my pets while under their care; the service is just awesome! After initial meeting and getting to know each other I just go to their website make the reservation; go on my out of town trip and come home. NO hassle; no dragging pets to somewhere else and having to wait till Monday morning morning to pick them up. Try this service; you will not be disappointed!

I've trusted my pups and cat with Kim & Miller for at least 4 years now including several extended - two weeks plus - trips. My "special child" who is very hesitant around strangers has no issues with Miller. We always come back to happy healthy pets. Daily notes keep me informed about how well behaved or not they've all been. Carolina Pet Sitters have helped us out in a pinch with last minute plans as well. They are lifesavers!
