There are multiple bacterial infections in cats that can be harmful to them and lead to skin disorders. The most common one of these would be the streptococcal infection. The streptococcal infection is something that humans can also get. What might cause this infection is biting and scratching with other cats that already have the infection.
Seborrheic Dermatitis is the clinical, veterinary term for severe cat dandruff. It's very common in cats. When cats excessively shed skin cells, and the cells become visible, that is what is considered dandruff. If your cat develops excessive dandruff, his coat might become dull, and feel rough to the touch.
Additionally, when fleas are inadvertently swallowed during the grooming process, they cause tapeworms. A flea may seem like a small, insignificant nuisance. Fleas also cause your cat to develop dry sensitive skin, which lead to Cat Dandruff. However, if they are left unchecked, they have the potential to cause serious health problems for your cat.
When it comes to eating, cats are all over the spectrum. You have your nose-in-the-air finicky eaters, and then you have your scarf-anything-down eaters. If you're lucky, you have a cat that falls somewhere in the middle. I was instore shopping yesterday at cheyenne petco and was surprised at how little employees care about the customer. I heard 3 different elderly ladies complaining they couldn't find anyone to help them. One even asked me if I worked there. After I was at the checkout, I noticed all 3 of the elderly ladies leave the store very disapointed. Because they couldn't get any help.
While waiting "forever" at the register, i noticed what i thought was a manager sta nding there. So i mentioned to her that the lady that just walked out, was very disappointed because she couldn't find an employee to help her. She just kind of shrugged it off and made an angry type face. And she had the nerve to tell me, after thinking about what I said. Some people just dont know what patience is. I couldn't believe she said that about the elderly lady that walked out. Not very friendly customer service by any means.

Michelle, the general manager, is a condescending, confrontational, rude woman. I cannot believe she can treat customers so poorly, and be a role model for her team. Hugs and kisses to you Michelle, you told me good luck when I said I was going to complain about your customer service skills and you don't know how petty I am over a $20 hamster

You would think that a company with a net worth of more than a billion dollars would invest in proper tanks for their Bettas, instead they basically have a concentration prison for the animals where they just die in cups swimming in their own feces, without proper water temperature and without space to live, sad animal abuse industry, I'm surprised it's even legal.

Nice store and typically have everything. I mostly go there for feeder crickets and sometimes they have them and sometimes they don't. I almost always have to get the boxed ones which are hit or miss. They run out of large ones very often and only have the small, which are basically microscopic. If they stocked the crickets better, I would give it five stars.

I have been in the fish hobby for years and have ran 32 freshwater fish tanks of my own. Since Petco is the only place in Cheyenne that sells fish, I would come here weekly. This past 3 years their fish have been the worst taken care of fish I have ever seen. They are all sick, dead, or stressed. You have to be extremely careful buying from them because one of their fish can devastate your entire established tank.
Then you can't just bring it back for a replacement fish because the water testing will show something is wrong with your tank when it was their sick fish that created the problem to start with. Apart from this, their customer service is the worst. You have to go up to them who are talking to one another in a group just to get someone to acknowledge you and hopefully help you. This place has just become terrible.

Been in there multiple times the past several weeks and the fish tanks and rodent cages are disgusting and dirty. Lots of dead fish/shrimp just left in the tanks, algae in most of the tanks, and very cloudy water. Fish associate was extremely unhelpful and lazy. Acted like we were inconveniencing them. Will happily drive an hour south to get fish that are better taken care of.

Took my dog in for a bath, nail trim, ear clean, teeth brush and two hours later, a completely different dog came out. He wasnt eating, drinking, and laid still on the floor breathing abnormally. After no improvement in 12 hours, I took him in the vet where they had to save his life. Even though the verdict is still out on whats wrong with him, Petco stated nothing happened there and are not willing to help cover the 1k vet bill.
I am a repeat customer and my dog has been groomed there before. So clearly something happened in a two hour period. Will never go there again regardless how nice the people are. My dog almost died
