My 11 month old German shepherd was there for 30 minutes before getting the call that he had to be removed from the doggy day care center. When I picked him up I was informed by a worker in the front that one of the other workers in the care center over stimulated and got my dog worked up making it a unsafe place for him and the other dogs around.

He did great the first 2 times going but today he was scratching at the door to get out, was whining and pretty much dragged me out of there. I'm not sure what happened from the first 2 times but I would not trust them in the care of pets if their employees do not know how to work with all types of dogs. The girls at the front desk apologized to me and even stated it was not my dogs fault.

Very Disappointed. UPDATE: I was harassed on Facebook on 4/26/22 by said owner of this facility saying my dog is "problematic, aggressive and untrained" when he was a puppy at the time of visits. I did nothing to provoke this besides said I had a bad experience there and Andrea continued to comment negative things about my pet who she hasn't seen in almost a year. This proved that we made the right decision to never go back. Watch out people she might harass you if you leave a bad review!

What a terrible experience. Picked up our dog yesterday and he STUNK. We were told he would be bathed and his bed would be bathed but that did not happen. We had to bathe him before he touched anything in our home. The bed we sent with him was saturated in urine. They apologized and said the two dogs in the kennel next to our dog were, "messy, " and they didn't have time to clean it.

We had to throw the bed away as it was too soaked to even wash. It took our dog 2 days to recover from the experience he had here. He was not himself and just slept all day and night like he wasn't able to sleep at all while boarded. The owner offered us a $40 credit for the $60 bed we threw away and the terrible experience our dog had. We will never board here again.

I am so sad we didn't do more research before exposing our dog to this type of environment. Be careful and do your homework. There are far better places to board your dog.

Our Rosco (Australian Shepherd) loves this place. When we drop him off he runs in the building as fast as he can, he loves other dogs and loves the play time. The Staff is great with him.

Boarded our dog for 4 days while vacationing, last day we had her groomed. As someone who used to show in conformation and groom, I'm super picky, as I know how a Pom should be groomed and many do a poor job. But with a new baby I decided to get them a shot as I havent had time since the day before delivered except for quick brushing. We went w a short, Boo cut, and they did a wonderful job! She was very healthy and happy when we picked her up.

We have used Cedar Creek Pet Resort for at least 10 years and with two of our dogs - an English bulldog and a pug. Both dogs were well cared for especially since the pug was diabetic and needed insulin twice a day. I also appreciated the fact that the kennel was able to take our two dogs at the last minute during winter break when our house sitter had to cancel. I'm not sure the business would have done that for everyone, but I felt since I had been using them, they made the extra effort to make it work.

We have been taking our dog Brewer, a teddy bear, to Cedar Creek pet resort for the past 2 years since he was a puppy. Andrea always does an amazing job, making sure he is groomed to our expectations. He looks great every time we pick him up! The grooming room is visible from the lobby, and you can discuss what style you want for your dog with the staff. We are very happy with the service from Cedar Creek!

Great place to have dog groomed and boarding. The team here is friendly and very accommodating. Appreciate their support and customer service. Even during these quarantine days they help and problem solve to care for our animal.

Our new dog, a female Bedlie about 20 months old from this breeder, was a huge disappointment. She arrived underweight, with a comically tiny head. She was sweet but pitifully timid and looked like she'd been groomed with a hatchet. The breeder promised that she was housebroken but she peed in the house four times in the few weeks she was here.

We work from home, took her out after meals like a puppy, and watched her like a hawk but she hid behind furniture to pee on the carpet. She also pooped on the carpet once but maybe that shouldn't count because she cleaned up after herself - she ate it.

They are an excellent, trained group of groomers. Also provide really great care of those who spend time in their Kennels. I used their doggy play-time and my dog, who spent a week in the kennel, came back to me with the brightest smile I've seen on her, and she was so different even at home. She misses being around other dogs, and this really perked her spirit! Thanks to the whole Cedar Creek Pet Resort providers!

This was my first time boarding my two dogs and the last time because of my experience. My dogs were boarded for 8 days. I called to check on them and was told they were fine. My husband picked them up and one of my dogs fell over twice while checking out. Staff said he must be tired and that he had been fine while there. Dogs just don't fall over for no reason.

I called and talked with his main caretaker per the receptionist. She told me my dog stopped eating 2 days after he was there. She also said he vomited, seemed lethargic, and reported this to the front desk and manager. I called and talked with the manager which she said nothing was documented or noted. The manager really didn't seem to have much to say except pointing the problem at this staff person.

The next day my dog had to be hospitalized for pancreatitis and is still there today. No one from Cedar Creek has followed up with me to confirm or deny what the caretaker had said about my dog's symptoms. It is important for my vet to have the correct information in order to treat my dog. The lack of communication between staff is concerning. I am so upset that no one called me when he starting having problems so I could get him the care he needed. I WOULD NOT recommend you board your pets here.

During the 2 out of 3 times that I had taken my puppy to cedar creek, I had very poor experiences. They cut both of my puppys ears to the point where they were bleeding and let the blood dry, and they didn't think to tell me what happened, until I noticed it. I didn't get any kind of a discount for my next grooming service from that, which should have been an automatic.

The next time she got her hair cut, she was never given a bath and I was told that my 9 pound dog would take 4.5 hours the next time to get her haircut. Unacceptable service. I will NOT be returning and will find a groomer elsewhere that takes better care of their clients and their Pets.

Took my dog to the Cedar Creek for her grooming 9/2018 and noted I would be back around 1:30 pm for pick up. I received a call at noon and they stated she was ready for pick up. I again said I would be in around 1:30 pm as originally noted. OK they said. I picked up dog around 1:45 pm and groomer (who is not licensed per the owner's acknowledgment afterwards) said she nicked her while grooming.

I could see the red blood stain and picked up my dog to see a 'hole' in her hind leg. I was NOT notified of this injury prior to my pick up. They left my dog in the kennel after grooming with the injury and per the owner's conversation with me days later - the unlicensed groomer put 'new skin' product (not for pets) on my dog.

I asked the owner why I was not notified immediately during the phone call for pick up - and she stated we knew you were coming in shortly. I had to then rush my dog over to an emergency animal hospital 1/2 hr away where they cleaned and had to put staples to close the wound. She had to undergo 2 weeks of antibiotic medicine as it didn't heal after 1 week. Cedar Creek reimbursed me for the medical bills and I did not pay for the grooming. I was not able to leave zero '0' stars for this review.

*update* finally got a call back from the owner & no one could tell me how or why my dog was hurt. All I was told was that she didn't have any incidents during group play. First off, I didn't ask for group play. Secondly, the owner even mentioned & I quote "the group Saturday was a rough group". So why would you have an eight year old yorkie in a "rough group" to begin with?!

I will never bring my dog back there. There's no accountability, and no concern for the dogs well being. Took my dog here for boarding thurs-mon, included the play time with the other dogs. Picked her up today & my dog was completely not herself. After looking at her & giving her some attention I noticed a bite inside her ear with dried up blood & a huge bruise on her stomach that is swollen. No one let me know of any incidents that occurred & my dog was returned without her shirt on so it would have been visible to the employees

Easy check-in and pick-up with no-fuss scheduling. Hoover is always excited to go to his doggy hotel and is happy and exhausted when he comes home. Thank you for taking care of him.

I drove 40 minutes to take my dog here for grooming. It was worth every minute. The staff is friendly and Buddy looked great when I came to pick him up. Buddy is a border collie with long hair that easily mats. It takes a long time to properly groom him, removing all the mats and dead hair, not to mention trimming his feet both hair and nails. My only complaint was the shampoo they used smelled to perfumey for my taste, but that will wear off.

His excellent grooming will last a long time. I posted some pictures because you can see what a well kept place this is. I have not boarded Buddy here, but it definitely looks like a great place to board a pet.
