I cannot give this office enough praise! They have taken such great care of my animals. Calling after hours to check in, giving love and compassion. We feel so safe here! Especially Dr. Miller - he is a God Sent and so happy our boys are in his care!

Visually, the aesthetics are pleasing, and give a sense that you're in place where business is good, so they just be good. They're probably a good place for basic veterinarian needs, like doing and giving results of heartworm test, shots, blood work, and x-rays. But, if you're pet becomes sick and you're given devastating news about their illness, you'd best disassociate yourself from it, and put any emotions you have about it aside, not taking up any extra time for trying to deal with what you've just heard. Otherwise, a tech will walk into the exam room, tap on their watch, and say "we need to wrap it up, the doctor has other patients".

If it's an illness that you've never heard of, plan on having to Google it, and relying on the internet for what you should do for it. Especially if it is an illness for which they've told you you have to take your pet to a specialist for, that you can't afford, don't count on any medications for your pet that can and would help. Maybe they've just been around for so long, and are so used to what THEY know that they are remiss of what it is to be on the patient side, especially for more serious issues than the basics, and in explaining, or of providing documentation for.

My baby kept having issues with his ear. The other vet kept giving him meds. Obviously it didn't work so I figured it was time to get a second opinion. Why keep up with the same thing, over and over, if it was not fixing the problem? The vet here was fabulous with him! He was prescribed meds here too, but it was to fight the infection and inflammation so he would be able to have surgery.

He had a polyps in his ear. Bacteria and such would get stuck behind this polyps and he would get constant ear infections. He had surgery a little over a week ago and has been great ever since. The polyps was a bit larger than expected, but the vet was able to get out as much as she could without damaging his ear drum. Thankfully, it came back as benign. He'll be going back for a recheck next week. I'd say it is definitely worth it to give this place a shot.

I've trusted the good folks at Central Texas Animal Hospital to care for my pets for over 10 years. They care deeply and sincerely about animal welfare and make the extra effort to explain what they know. They're also very pleasant to see each time.

Took my 2 dogs to get heartworm and flea treatment and the tech says we have to pay for heartworm test, I said no because I talked to their Receptionist and she told me my heartworm test is due and if you dont come by the 18th you have to pay for the test which is $33. But my appt was before then so we thought were good. But now they want me to pay $33 2 dogs!

I have been a loyal customer since 1987! I have had to put down some animals there and always had my animals cared by them. I just felt like I was being lied to and taken advantage of and this wasn't the only time that I have felt like I was being nickle and dined. Iam very disappointed. I LOVE Dr. Neans! He is also the Owner and because of him I keep coming back! Hes a good guy and he loves my animals.

I have been bringing my furry family members here since 1998. No matter where I move in Austin, I always bring them to CTAH! I trust them to take top care of my babies and not to put them through procedures that they do not need, just to make money. They helped two of my babies transition to the other side. They helped me just as much. The team here has always been AMAZING!

I have now take 1 cat and 3 dogs here. I have never regretted any procedure that we have had done here or any money I have spent here. I also love their t-shirt. : UPDATE: My puppy decided to eat a bee. It was the most terrifying, and later funny, day of my life. The staff at CTAH worked us in to the schedule within minutes of me calling and had me calmed down in no time.

They even called me the next two days to follow up to make sure Ginger, my puppy, was doing well. They had offer to keep her over night, but I declined. I could not be away from her, now if they has said I could have stayed with her, I might have done it. LOL Ginger is back to her old self Thanks to the wonderful staff at CTAH! They are so awesome!

Absolutely great vet office with a rock star team. They have been caring for our doggo since he was a puppy. Great local touch from the staff to the doctors, everyone is just sincere and genuine with lots of Texan love. Nothing but good things from this vet office.
