I have always been happy with Cha Cha's grooming services, but when I went in to get my dog groomed per usual with an appointment I had made weeks prior, I was told they could not give her an actual haircut because the main groomer left. Why wouldn't they call and let me know that when I had scheduled a haircut instead of letting me come in to find out? When I asked the girl at the front desk, she was rude in her response. Unfortunately I won't come here anymore because I can't rely on their grooming services.

Great staff. Had last minute trip and needed to find boarding. Called and got a prompt response. Staff provided guidance on the boarding process. Was nervous since it was my dog's first time away from me overnight. Cha cha took great care of pet and I was able to monitor on the doggo cam.

Pros: 1. Camera in doggy areas so you can check in on my lil floof. 2. Staff is friendly and always excited to see my pup. 3. Pup comes back tired and happy (usually). Cons: 1. Really just one: my pup recently came back from boarding with a rough bout of vomiting and diarrhea. Later diagnosed with giardia, which I informed Chas Chas about immediately so they could do a thorough clean.

After some phone and email tag, I was left feeling like they didn't really take my concerns seriously. They were nice enough but there was a lot of "well he wasn't acting weird with us, etc".

I've been bringing my pup here since she was 4 months old and over time I've seen her become more confident around new pups. Along with providing a space for her to spend while we are at work, Cha Cha's makes sure to have games, enrichment, snacks, events, and supervised play. The staff of super kind and responds to calls and e-mails really quickly.

They truly make us feel like we're a part of a community. My pup loves coming here and I feel confident that she is getting great care, play, and snuggles. If recommends Cha Cha's to anyone!

Looked into boarding here. My issues were that the staff told me they give treats to the dogs in groups and that nobody sleeps at the facility overnight. So I guess if there's a fire, your pooch is flambeed. Didn't need to hear how they handle it if one dog is treat aggressive but there's better game in town. One that doesn't lock your dog inside and take off for 8-10 hours and one that is better oriented for possible behavioral issues that can sometimes arise in a group setting.

My dog had her first day of daycare here today and I am so happy and relieved I found this place. They made sure she had all her vaccinations up to date by actually calling the vet and she had to have a little 15min evaluation last week to see if she has any behavioral issues that would have made her dangerous for the other dogs. That really made me feel better knowing all the other dogs there were also under strict rules.

Today she had her first full day and she did very well. They have cameras in all the main areas and when I picked her up she got a report card. I will be boarding her here for an upcoming trip and I won't have to worry. She will get a comfy bed, kong toy are night, and a daily walk. She is absolutely exhausted from all the playing. The place is very clean and well organized with double doors and separated play areas. Highly recommend

This place is very small. For a big dog who needs a lot of space, this is not the right place. It's also in a neighborhood and we were told that they did not want the dogs to bark, which seems quite silly given that is how dogs communicate with each other. Also, every time I have checked the cameras, there are so many dogs there is barely any room to play, and they are all standing around. though that could just be chance.

The receptionists are very responsive and nice, and I trust the dogs are safe here. However, this is not the fit for my hound who likes to chase and be chased, and tussle. He does not come home exhausted compared to other daycare/boarding places.

Sort of feels like they gave us the runaround. Told us they had availability for weekend boarding but we needed to bring them in for a meet and greet. We did, and dogs passed but then they said they were booked up and charged us 75 bucks. Seems a little bad faith, they should have been upfront about their bookings.

First and foremost. This is a woman owned business. My Kemet loves this place and has many friends. Very caring attentive employees. They administered meds to my pup as ordered by the vet and while away I was able to watch him on video. Love this place!

Based only on a first visit, Cha Cha's looks like a terrific spot. There are several people attending to dogs in a group setting with both inside and outside places for the dogs to play or relax. The staff seems courteous, and professional. I'll update this after more experience.

Absolutely inconsiderate and unreliable. I was told there was space at the facility for my two dogs. Every shot they needed or exam was done because of what cha cha's requested. I had scheduled a "play date." The day of the play date - an hour before - I am told they now have no room for my dog. This is because I am new - and they let existing clients jump ahead of me and take my spot.

I am supposed to go out of town in two days. And now I have no options. The absurdity of this and absolute flagrant disregard for our time and schedule is appalling. The solution should have been - to hold my spot. That simple. Add a new customer. Instead they've lost someone permanently and I will never give them a good referral.

Our yellow lab Romeo grew up at Cha Cha's both for daycare and boarding, sometimes for two plus weeks. Romeo loved Cha Cha's with his last visit, at 13, was for a couple hours the Saturday before euthanizing our big boy. The excellent care starts at the top with the owner Desalene and filters down to her caring dog loving capable staff. We never worried about Romeo and now we are dropping off our 5-month-old Chocolate Lab Remi. Not inexpensive but worth every dollar.

Cha Cha's has been a lifesaver! I travel for work and I have a puppy and a senior. It's the first place my 15 year old golden doodle is happy to be left at. The puppy lives for her play dates. The staff is professional, kind, and loving towards my pups. I rest easy when I'm away knowing they are well cared for and having fun!

All this review can speak to is their customer service and grooming facility. My dogs have not spent any time at their daycare. With that being said, I was very pleased with the level of care and professionalism shown to me and my fur babies. I called on a Saturday afternoon inquiring about the next available grooming appointment for two large, long-haired great Pyrenees puppies.

They were able to fit us in the very next morning at 11 AM. I dropped my puppies off at 11 AM and was told it would take two hours or longer. I had plenty of things to do and errands to run so I did not mind having the puppies out of the way. I was surprised when I called almost 5 hours later at 4 PM to find out they were just finishing up. Like I said, I was not upset since I had plenty to do but merely surprised that it took so long.

When I picked up my fur babies they were absolutely gorgeous - not that they weren't before. But their fur was silky smooth and they looked like movie stars! They did a wonderful job bathing, brushing, de-matting, and clipping their nails. I snuggled with my babies all afternoon. Given their size, both are over 100 pounds, and they're tremendous amount and length of fur, I was pleased with the price.

But I was also pleased to find that they are currently running a special discount on weekend grooming services. Who doesn't love a good discount?! The next time my fur babies need a good grooming, I know who I will turn to.

Yesterday, I had a family emergency and needed to find a place to board my dog Rosie for the day. Cha Cha's was able to take Rosie with about 20 minutes notice in their private day stay, since I did not have her vaccine information available. I really appreciated how kind the staff were and accommodating with the circumstances. Rosie seemed to have a great time. Will definitely be taking her back for doggy daycare!

This review is for overnight boarding While my previous experience with grooming wasn't the best, the daycare and overnight boarding definitely makes up for it! Been going to this place since 2014 for boarding and day care. Pros: +friendly and prompt staff - the team gets back to me within an hour on any overnight reservation requests I make and provide helpful and informative responses +playroom webcams! - this is the best feature and probably the main reason I go here. Wherever I am in the world, I can log in and watch my dog play with her new friends (or honestly, just beg for attention from everyone haha - she's very spoiled). Concerns: -not sure where the dogs go at night since if you log in the webcam everyone is gone and the dogs are put away, but I think they are crated? -parking - there are about two spots to park in front of the place but I have a low car so I just park somewhere down the street.

Before my other car was a little more raised and I've had a few scrapes pulling in/out of the parking spot. I don't think they can control this though. Also be careful not to miss it driving by if it's your first time there! Overall I really enjoy bringing my dog here and she certainly likes the place too. Thanks ChaCha!

Not a bad day care, but personally we didn't feel our dog was well liked by some of the staff there. It seemed every time I picked her up, she was more of a problem then they wanted to deal with. They told us she was pretty relentless when trying to get other dogs to play, but when we took her to the dog park to test that out, we really didn't see the same behavior.

Being less than two, she loves to play and often flocks to other shepherds or large dogs who have a similar, high energy play style. She also likes to bark during play and I don't think this day care tolerated barking very much, probably due to the close proximity of the residential houses nearby. So far, we've been taking her to another location where they don't mind the dogs barking as much and she seems to be doing a lot better there. Her behavior upon drop off and pick up even improved a bit! Cha Cha's is a good daycare for some, but unfortunately it's not for us.

We have been sending our puppy to cha cha's for about a year now and it has been a great experience for her and us. She is almost unrecognizable from her first day there as a very scared puppy who hid in the corner. now we watch her run around with all the dogs on the cameras and have a great time. I credit Cha Cha's for helping her come out of her shell and gain basic socialization skills - which has helped us with taking her to meet other dogs and to local dog parks.

Most importantly, she is always super tired when she gets home and goes right to bed! The staff at cha cha's are awesome, especially Stephanie and Carl, -- they have been very helpful with teaching our pup new skills (I.e. sitting by the door) and giving us tips to reinforce this behavior at home. We've tried a few other daycare places in the Sacramento area just to mix it up, but there is only one place that makes our pup excitedly-cry in the parking lot whenever we pull up!

I've been taking my dog Bailey to Cha Cha's Dog Daycare for the last 3 years and they are absolutely amazing. They treat Bailey like she is part of the family (because she is)! The staff is friendly and Bailey loves the socialization and seeing her doggy friends daily. They are a special group of people! Thanks for caring!

This place is sketchy AF. Pretty sure the owner had my review removed. Over a year ago, my dog bit an employee when my husband arrived to pick him up. He saw the person who was bitten and asked if he was OK. He was ignored. A couple of days later I get an email from the owner notifying us of the accident. I actually left work early that day, I was stunned, shocked, upset, confused, etc.

The owner lied and said she left us multiple voicemails. She did not. I called non-stop (literally NON-STOP) to get the owner on the phone to apologize and ask what exactly happened. Eventually, I was able to ask one of the front desk employees we knew what happened. She wasn't at work that day, but she heard about the incident and all she could say is that upon pick up, our dog bit an employee when he went to put his harness on, or his leash on.

We don't know. When the owner finally bothered to answer my call, she told me that my tone didn't warrant me seeing the alleged "video" that caught the incident on camera. Apparently, sobbing uncontrollably, asking for a play-by-play of what happened was improper. She yelled at me for a while and eventually hung up. I immediately called a behavioral specialist at the Sacramento SPCA to ask for an appointment for our dog.

One of the specialists sat on the phone with me for 30 minutes while I went over and over everything I knew. Unfortunately, because the owner refused to tell me what happened and wouldn't share the alleged video, the specialist told me she couldn't really help. The following week, the officer who was involved with the report came to our home.

I asked him if he saw the "video" and told him everything I knew. He said he was never shown a video, and that one didn't exist as far as he was concerned. He also shared with me that the poor employee who needed stitches was "embarrassed" by what had happened and "didn't want to go to the ER" but had to because of the bleeding. He verified that our dog was quarantined, his records were up to date and played fetch with him before he left. Obviously, I would never ever condone a dog biting a human or another dog.

I was simply trying to UNDERSTAND what provoked my dog and/or why he felt so scared that he bit a person. The owner actually refused to tell us what happened. Why? While some of the employees who worked there were very kind, I don't believe they were all properly trained and/or in tune with dog body language. There's a difference between someone who loves dogs and someone who is trained to work with them. What still haunts me is that my husband was on-site during the accident, just on the other side of the door when it occurred. We will never know what happened.

We were bringing our first doberman (Aris) here for about eight years and now we take our puppy doberman (Belize) to Cha Cha's. We have always enjoyed taking our babies here. They are always caring and excited to see our dobermans. They are always going above and beyond for the dogs. Unfortunately, we lost Aris a few days ago. As you can imagine, it has been an extremely difficult time for us.

When the staff Staff at cha-chas found out about the passing of Aris, they went above and beyond to help us get through it. When we were picking up Belize, the handed us a plant and a card. The card said some great things about Aris and how he was the best part of working there for most of them. Even though this was a simple act of kindness, it meant a lot to us. It's great to know we were not the only ones that knew how special Aris was. Cha Cha's will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you guys so much!

The daycare called and cancelled my dogs stay less than a week before our international travel during Thanksgiving break for two weeks. No good reason was given, the dog passed their meet and greet with trainer gushing on how well he played with others. We made sure to book 3 months in advance. Thanks to their "timely" cancel we had to urgently call every dog daycare (all booked for Thanksgiving of course). Ended up having a dog sitter we never worked with before as an emergency solution. I would go out of my way in the future to make sure others know that this place is unreliable and does not stand by their commitments.

I wish I could give Cha Cha's more than 5 stars. It would be ten if possible. The manager Stephanie went over and above for my 10.5 yo male boxer. She came back after closing for a late night check in for him. He was old and cranky with some of the puppies so she made sure to get him in solitary but also to assure he still had tons of activity with dedicated dog walking from her staff. The facility was renovated and clean, as well as the staff super friendly and professional. Thanks again Cha Cha's & Steph!

My wife and I took our doggie here when we lived in the area and the folks here got the job done just fine. The webcam was certainly helpful and the front desk staff have always been friendly and welcoming. That said, the organization could use some work as they lost track of our dog's supplies and failed to delivery them to my friend when he went to pick her up earlier this year.

It was an unnecessary inconvenience for him after already being kind enough to help me and my wife out. Additionally, the cleanliness of place could be improved as it always smelled like a kennel during our visits. For reference, there are other doggie daycare/boarding facilities in the area that are far cleaner and actually come at a lower price point.

I am 110% one of "those" dog moms. I have a list of instructions and a bundle of nerves when I ask a friend or sibling to watch my dog. Cha Cha's Doggie Daycare puts me at ease! When I drop Dodger off I know that he's in good hands and will be loved on, I know that he'll get tons of time with other dogs, and I know that he'll come back exhausted from a fun time away from home. (One passed out pup picture) The cameras help so much!

The first time we boarded Dodge-Podge I was checking them regularly to make sure he looked like he was having a good time (crazy, I know, but he's our first dog). I now barely check them. Cha Cha's is our go to spot for boarding when we're on longer trips. The staff are all amazing and genuinely love the dogs that stay with them. If you're looking for a team that will take care of your dog just as well as you would, this is definitely the place.

For the last year, Cha Cha's has been my little guys home away from home! I don't typically leave reviews on Yelp, but felt that after all of this time kudos are well overdue for this group of people. :) I've been taking my dog, Moo, here regularly for daycare and boarding since we was 4 months old. I can't speak more highly of the customer service, the professionalism, and above all else the love and care they give to each and every dog that walks through their door.

I travel frequently for work and knowing I can leave my baby with people who truly have his best interest in mind is the best feeling. The webcam which is on 24/7 helps a ton, as those times I am away I can watch him from the second they get up at 6:30am until they go to bed at 9:30pm. Side kudos specifically for Jessica and Stephanie who are truly 2 of the most kind-hearted ladies I've ever met. Cha Cha's is lucky to have them and so are all of the doggies they interact with. :) If you're wondering if Cha Cha's is right for your doggy, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed!

I traveled to Sacramento for two days of training and took my dog here for doggy daycare. He loved it! Good hours, grooming on site, and have an excellent staff and set-up. My vet was able to email a vaccination record and I was able to bring sun screen for my dog. My dog was worn out from all the play, but very happy when we arrived the next morning. They took amazing care of Zeus! Thank you Cha Cha's staff.
