Services
We offer a complete nose to tail experience that you and your beloved pet will appreciate. This is a complete haircut & style recommended for your happy, hairy dog every 4-6 weeks. This service is for typical "haircut" breeds, such as Yorkshire Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Shih Tzus, most Doodles, Poodles, coated Terriers, and more.
We do groom by appointment although we occasionally have cancellations that create an opening in our grooming schedule, so for a same-day appointment, please call to see what we have available. Nail trims are welcome with an appointment during regular business hours and are done while you wait. It is so important to get your puppy/kitten used to grooming so that s/he can learn to enjoy the process! We suggest making your first appointment as soon as your pet is adequately vaccinated. Please expect to leave your pet in our care for 2-3 hours.

Moved to Bellingham recently and needed a new dog groomer for my long haired corgi. He is not the easiest to groom and I've only found one groomer that can do the job. That was until now! They had him out of there within an hour and a half and he looks like a new dog. I have nothing negative to say about our experience. We will definitely be back!

Really expensive. The appointment for our standard poodle was almost $200. They did a nice job, but for a very short haircut and nail trimming I was shocked at the price. Her previous haircuts at other groomers have never gone above $110. This is probably a great place for smaller dogs, but I won't be able to afford another visit.

Our Golden retriever received a beautiful grooming. There is no complaint there. What was missing was any interaction with the groomer and our feeling of a cool reception. Our city dog is groomed every 6 weeks and went in with no matting, just the usual hair growth and in need of a bath and nail trim. We were charged $120, $20 more than the last visit with no explanation.
When we asked the reason, we were told there was extra brushing needed. If expense is no problem and you don't mind the feeling of a production line, you will get a beautifully groomed dog.

Since I got him about 2 years ago, I've always groomed my mini bernedoodle myself. Partly because getting a professional grooming can be expensive, and partly because I like control. This summer we've been real busy and a little stressed so we decided to bring him to City Dogs. Caitlyn (Kaitlyn? Caitlin? I'm not sure) did a wonderful job with our pup.
We were worried he might be a pain in the butt since he's never had a professional grooming, but it sounds like he did just fine. He looks exactly how we wanted, and the price was reasonable. Although I think we will continue to groom him most of the time, we will have no reservations coming back to City Dogs periodically when he needs the professional treatment. Thanks so much!

I've never taking my dog to the groomer before; he's very ill-tempered, and as an older dog I'm reluctant to cause him any undue stress. However, his coat was becoming too much for him (and me!) to handle, so I finally took him. The ladies there did such a good job! He looked so happy and healthy, and it costed $65 for my big ol pooch. I'm so excited and I can't wait to bring him back
