The philosophy that inspired the creation and design of the Kings Valley kennel and influenced the lifestyle for its inhabitants had its genesis in my toddlerhood with my first would-be dog, Flocky. That stuffed near-Spaniel went with me everywhere, all the time. It took thirty more years before I could graduate from the stuffed mixed breed to my first in-the-flesh, generic collie, Angel.
In 1972, we found the two bitch puppies who, by their own virtues and through their ability to reproduce their qualities, became the foundation of Kings Valley Collies. Learn more about our focus on Super Mothers in an article by Kings Valley Collies founder Eva Rappaport.
For nearly four decades, Kings Valley has bred Collies of classic beauty, intelligence, and character. In the show ring, at work, and at home, our Collies are confident, trustworthy, affectionate companions. We firmly believe that early socialization in a stimulating setting brings out the Collie's marvelous, versatile personality and enriches his entire adult life.
Robert and I want to tell you how very pleased we are with Mollie. She's a wonderful companion to Robert during the day when he's flat on his back - Mollie seems to be naturally empathetic - and when I get home, Mollie almost wags herself crazy. Mollie is SOOOOO sweet in the morning as we wake up. She is very dear.

Don't be fooled by the 5-star reviews from this breeder. Many breeders prop their businesses up on false family reviews. My wife and I were sorely disappointed with Leslie from Kings Valley Collies after working through the application process. They pick apart every aspect of your life and tell you if they're willing to sell you a puppy or not based on where you live and how much experience you have.

I'm all for an application process - but discrimination is not something I'm willing to put up with. This breeder screams privileged and prestigious. Avoid them; otherwise, get ready for an in-depth personal review. subject to personal preference.

I had been looking for a dog to train for therapy work and was referred to Kings Valley Collies by another breeder. From my first conversation with Leslie, I knew that through her, I had found the right dog. Since bringing "Maizie" into our home several months ago, I have had several follow-up interactions with Leslie and have found her to be very responsive and helpful.

She adores every one of her dogs and is singularly focused on ensuring a great match between them and their new families. She is empathetic to the needs of both the dogs and their people. I greatly appreciated her approach to finding the right match for our household!

Leslie is the best! 2 1/2 years ago, I started the search for a dog for my family. I have two special-needs children. I needed a dog with a very specific personality for my family. Leslie spent a lot of time talking to me, getting to know my kids, letting us come and visit and she discussed with me what her idea was that my family needed. A few months later, I get a message from her that she's picked out puppy out for us.

We got Molly several weeks later. Molly has been the perfect dog for my kiddos. She's calm, loving and playful. If I forget to hug her, she finds a way to remind me. My piano students love her. It's hilarious to watch Molly circle them while they sit on the piano bench. I guess she thinks they are sheep.
