Great pet store with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would highly recommend them!

I usually don't have a problem with this store but this time it might be my last time stopping there I purchased a ferret and called the store an hour later after getting home with it to ask for advice which the lady did give me but for the next 2 days after that call his symptoms got worse I called the store they took my info and said they would tell the manager to get ahold of me and it's been 3 days and still no one has contacted me about my issue and now I had to take my ferret to the vet because of the issue which they could have helped pay for hopefully someone from the store sees this and can maybe call me back like I was told they would. Very unsatisfied they need more education on ferret up keep

Pet accessories are MUCH cheaper at Walmart. Also, I was given information from a worker that was contradicted by my vet. Which led me to spend more. To verify I went online and the information confirmed what the vet told me. So I was lied to or misled by the colonial pet associate.

This place has been a lifelong favorite of mine. I no longer live in town, but stop in when I can. I have always enjoyed checking out the lizards and playing with the guinea pigs. We used to bring our birds in for nail clippings. One of my favorite long running small businesses.

Dimly lit, scarcely staffed. I helped the lady move boxes because she didn't have help. No problem there. I don't enjoy any place where the animals aren't properly tended to. However, there's always room for improvement

The staff isn't particularly friendly. Everything is very clean and organized. The animal cages are well maintained, and the fish tanks are beautiful. It's a bit more on the expensive, but worth it.

Always shop local when we can, and Colonial reminds us why every time we visit. Consistently better quality than big box stores, and often better prices / value. Definitely our favorite local pet shop.

If I could give a 0 star I would. I purchased 3 fish about 2 weeks ago. Everything looked good for the 1st couple days. After that the fish started dying. Had my tank for about 2 years and never had a problem. Would not recommend getting fish from them. It killed every single fish in my tank.

A quaint little shop across from where the old Shopko was. They have an excellent and affordable selection of bird toys and food as well as a beautiful aquarium section. We were so surprised at the pets they had in stock and it seemed like each one would be sold to a trust worthy home.
