Critter Camp is a community play facility. Unspayed / unneutered pets over six (6) months of age require extra attention and supervision. Daycare and nightly boarding rates are slightly higher for unaltered pets. Swim in the pet-size swimming pools (built so pets can walk in and out). Dig for buried treasure in a sand box filled with bones.

Cute little dog park as I understand it is privately run. Lots of toys, obstacles, a couple of shaded areas. It was a very hot day and the reason I went there was to let the dog cool off in water, but there is no swimming water, so don't let the cover photo fool you.

NOTE: Should be highlighted, NO DOGS ALLOWED THAT ARE NOT FIXED. They are adamant about that rule. But it is a good place, lots of skill building for your altered pet.

We took our lab to their park on a road trip. He had a blast! The park has many agility obstacles for the dogs to play around with. It is so nice of Critter Camp to make this space available to the public.

I have utilized their end of life care twice, and I can say that they go above and beyond for your family. Cody is compassionate, caring, and helpful during the process. Losing a family member is never easy, but Cody is a source of comfort in your time of need. I would recommend their services, and I will certainly be a customer in the future.

Drove about 30min off our route to go to Critter Camp's Bark Park. MISTAKE! I should have read the reviews. The park looks destitute as of November 2021. I hope the owners revive it to be enjoyed again. NO grassy area NO water hole/dog pool NO other animals (when we went) NO ground maintenance (just dirty equipment and paw hazards on the ground) It reminded me of an abandoned amusement park. Sad!

Just brought my pup here for the first time. Thought based on the pics the park would have a pond but it definitely did not! More of a bust then a "bark" park. Looked from the pics there was a good amount of land. In reality it was about a half acre dilapidated park in between a trailer park.

We brought our dogs because there was a water feature advertised, there is no water feature the park does not seem well kept and my dogs got thorns and briefs stuck in all their paws. We left and went to a different one

I took my baby there after he has to be put to sleep rather unexpectedly. I was frantically looking for someone to handle him afterwards. I took him to Critter Camp wrapped in a blanket that he has his whole life and was made by my grandmother. When he was removed from my car by staff I was asked if I wanted him to stay with the blanket and I did not think much of it at the time.

I was NEVER told I would not be getting it back and assumed I would pick it up when I picked him up. I called back to inquire about it and was told that the blanket was unable to be located. Also when I picked him up I received paperwork that had someone else's pets name on it which was a bit concerning especially when I entrusted them with absolute favorite being that ever was.

The staff were very kind an compassionate but I would have to say that a bit more care should have gone into the details. And that my/my pets possessions would not have been discarded with out a phone call or being told at drop off in a time that most are not thinking clearly to begin with.

Nicole was awesome! We had one of our dogs pass away on our way to Amarillo where we were stopping for the night. She waited for us to get there so that our Lucy would be taken care of properly. Nicole and Cody were very helpful with answering all of our questions and we would highly recommend them to anyone. They were very helpful with making sure we could keep in touch with them for any questions that came up. The facility is also very clean and well kept!

Plenty of space for running and plenty of benches for resting. The pond is now filled in with sand because the upkeep was too expensive. There is a kiddie pool near the water pump so the dogs can drink and cool off. Very well kept park.

My dog absolutely loves the Bark Park. Its like a little hidden gem. The park is fenced in allowing our dog to run freely. There are different obstacles for our dog to play on and explore. We love that they have dog waste bags provided at 2 locations in the park, we just wish more people would actually clean up after their dog in the park.

Awesome place, friendly people, well mannered dogs! My MAX came alive as soon as he entered. He enjoyed playing with a white Lab named Sarah (?) and a herd of chihuahua crosses! This was my first time to play frisbee with him and his first time in a pond. He was skidding at first, but he eventually took to it with gusto! Then, once we were alone and I had time for him to focus, we worked the agility course. I am so proud. Critter Camp, thanks for making this day, and many more to come, possible!

So much for the dogs to do.they have a pond for swimming, agility equipment for the pets to play on.tunnels to go through. Plus it is safe for your pets! Amarillo's only spay/neutered required park.
