My name is Carin Cohen, and I am the owner of Critter Vists. Lots of my customers and friends want to know how I turned my passion for animals into a career, so I thought I'd share that with you. I started watching the neighbor's dog in high school, and during that time I volunteered at the largest no kill shelter in the country, The North Shore Animal League in New York. Critter Visits was created by pet lovers to give you peace of mind when you are away from your pets. Our Critter Visitors ensure that your animals are safe, comfortable and happy by providing fresh food and water, love, cuddles, grooming, play time; daily exercise such as walks, playing Frisbee or ball, cleaning up accidents or other messes, on time administration of medications or supplements;, poop scooping for your yard.

In my humble experience this is the best agency i have found to entrust my pets to. I am so, so thankful to have found Carin and Critter Visits! My husband and I got our first cat - Lydia - only a few months before having to go away for the holidays, and we were very anxious to find someone who would take great care of her.On the advice of a friend, we looked for local sitters on the Pet Sitters International site, and were immediately drawn to Critter Visits!

Love Critter Visits! For many years, I had Critter Visits come and walk my dogs while I was at work. Additionally, if I went away, I asked them to come 4x a day and take care of the dogs. They are so professional, friendly, responsive and caring. I love my dogs and there are few people or companies that I trust with their care, but Critter Visits is definitely one of them.
They come on time and take great care of my dogs. I recommended them to a new neighbor and the other day she told me how delighted she was with them, and thanked me for the recommendation. BTW -- having Critter Visits come 4x a day while I was traveling turned out to be a little less expensive than boarding my dogs at the place I was using. Since one of my dogs is older now, it had the advantage that he didn't need to leave home.

I just had to post a review of the Critter Visits in my neighborhood in the U.S. as I am seeing negative reviews of another similarly named company located outside the US that are being posted on this site. I have used Critter Visits many times - and everyone who knows me knows that I am a huge pet lover and want only the best for my little guy. Critter Visits in the U.S. is a terrific company.
Their communication with you while you are away is wonderful! Better than some day care centers I know! They love animals and the owner is very committed to excellent care and quality service. I recommend them to all my friends. While I don't go away often, especially these days, I would NEVER hesitate to use them to care for my pet. I would encourage folks leaving reviews of the other company outside of the U.S. to please find the right site. I don't want these folks to be negatively impacted and not continue their fine care of animals!

We have been clients of Critter Visits since we adopted our chocolate lab 8+ years ago. Carin and the Critter Visits team do phenomenal work, and are especially good at matching up your pet with the right petsitter when the need arises. We highly recommend their services. I have been a client of Critter Visits for several years now and have always been very happy with their expert and professional services. Since adopting my challenging rescue a couple of years ago, I have accessed all of their services, training, daycare, visits and boarding, and I as well as my dog have been very happy with the care and support we have received. When may dog is in their care, I just know she will be happy and well attended to.

We LOVE and rely on fantastic Critter Visits! This is the pet-caretaking Critter Visits in Massachusetts (not the Canadian duck farm business). Critter Visits has been wonderful at providing our dogs with the best matched dog sitters. Our boys are weary of new people and need patient dog walkers. Carin and Scott matched us with two amazing knowledgeable dog walkers- Pam and CLaire. We have been so pleased with the care we have received from Critter Visits. They are a small business and care for their clients. We are quite picky as we want what is best for our pups and would highly recommend this pet sitting company.

We've been using Critter Visits for several years and they are truly wonderful to work with. We have three cats and travel frequently to visit family. Every sitter we've worked with has been kind, caring and always goes above and beyond to keep us posted with how our pets are doing while we are away. It gives us true pice of mind. They have a whole team of sitters which also means they can more easily acomodate last minute requests and unexpected schedule changes. I can't recommend them enough!

Critter Visits is a reliable and caring company! They have taken care of our dog since he was a puppy and all of the pet sitters have been so wonderful with him. I genuinely feel that they love our dog and I know that he is well cared for when they come to our home. I don't know what we would do without Critter Visits!
