I can proudly say Curbside Clippers was the first mobile pet grooming service in the state of Colorado and the third in the US. It is not a franchise. It is and always has been, owner-operated. There is no out-of-state 1-800 number taking your calls. I know your neighborhood, know where the local vets and animal hospitals are, the local rescue groups, animal events and even have pet recommendations specific to your area. As clients know, I always show up for the appointment and usually arrive early. I started this service in 1984 for two reasons.
Services
Specialty Shampoos: Bathing with either show grooming shampoo or vet approved medicated shampoo. Cuts to Specifications: Depending on your pets grooming requirements the cuts can be either short, AKC Standard or hand scissoring. Total Pet Care: Each bath includes ear cleaning, nail trimming or clipping, and expression of glands if needed. Essential Oils-Aromatherapy/Flower Essences:Oils can be used not only for emotional issues but skin issues as well.
This is the most asked question. YES, YES and YES! There are certain situations that I insist that the owner be present. Sometimes the pets can act worse, just as a human child when the parents are present. Sometimes they behave better. The only time I would request an owner to NOT be in the van is if the pet continues to try and crawl in the owner's lap or arms.
Please be aware there is a 50 pound weight limit and please check the service area map to see if you are within the limits of service. Gone are the good old days of analog mobile phones that let you call in a canyon and people could hear you without. HELLO, HELLO, CAN YOU HEAR ME? I receive many messages that sound fine to you but all I hear on my landline is "my name is?, I have?, my num? 3-2?-? 6."
