As a dog Mom you can read your baby's body language after a trip from their groomer appointment. I Love that my Baby is so calm and not scared or pulling me away from this business. He clearly knows how to give me subtle and not so subtle hints when he needs to. I have the most amazing vibes from the staff and shop in general. Dirty Dog is the Best! p.s. Gale is Magical!

Awesome groomer for my Westie, Buttons! The staff at The Dirty Dog are all very kind and listen to any concerns or requests, and they deliver perfection! Beetle is a fantastic groomer and we can see the love and care she puts into EVERY grooming session! Buttons is always happy when he comes home and loves to show off his new 'do' to his canine buddies in the neighborhood! Highly recommended!

Wonderful place! Lady at the desk was great! Athena loves her new friends. Her nails are excellent, she is so happy! She loves the homemade cookies they have for sell. We will definitely be back for all services.

The staff were so kind and my dog came back to me squeaky clean! He smelled amazing and his coat was super soft! They did a great job.

I'm on a budget and on a fixed income, I was taking my dog to get his nails clipped the price was 10 dollars I go in today March 5th and they raised it to 15 dollars their reason because it's the new year! They are greedy and don't care about the customer! I'm getting new dog nail clippers I'll do it myself like I do with his grooming! They also charge a dollar a minute to dematt your dog they are rip offs, I never heard of that before and I was to four different groomers in the past and they never charge that! BTW don't even try to threaten me with a lawsuit like I see you do with others on here everything I'm saying is the truth!

If you try I'll counter with a frivolous lawsuit and I know the laws very well you'll lose! P. S. Doesn't matter what you say to me as a rebuttal to defend your actions and your business bottom line is your 100%wrong! Have a wonderful day! Good I hope you go out of business!

I was recommended to try here after our vet closed for the holidays early due to a COVID-19 issue with their staff and couldn't be happier. Our husky pup is not the easiest customer by any stretch of the imagination and they gave her the cleanest nail trim she's had in three years.

Horrible experience. Picked my dog up. she had a nick and blood spot on the back of her leg. They did NOT cut her bangs. My dog is NOT aggressive at all. She's older and really sweet. The one lady who called me for when it was time to pick her up was rude. The lady who actually I paid, was sweet and when I told her what the other woman said. she told me mu dog was fine with her and a "sweetheart" but that "dogs can sense bad vibes from other people." WTF!

My dog is in the car now with me and won't stop crying! I spent $87 ($60 for the cut plus tip). They didn't give her bows or even a neck scarf. Her bangs are in her eyes and she is still scruffy around her mouth. We will NOT be coming back here!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and my dog looked great after his grooming session. Pricing is also a bonus here, you get bang for your buck. Officially our new groomer!

I couldn't be more appreciative of finding the Dirty Dog! We just recently moved back from Florida, and I needed to find another groomer for my very anxious pup. On the day of my appointment, I had a major ordeal in getting my dog's shot records faxed over before her appointment. Being eight months pregnant, I had to drive across the city to get printed records, and long story short, I felt so embarrassed I almost canceled my appointment because I was going to be very late.

They were SO understanding and still took her and did an AMAZING job. My dog regularly gets cut every 4-5 weeks, and the first groomer I found here in Delaware did not cut her as low as I asked. Even when I sent her back in to get cut shorter, they still didn't cut her correctly. The Dirty Dog did a FABULOUS job! I am SO glad they are closer, clean facility and everyone was very friendly. Before I left, I scheduled my dog's next three appointments.

Dirty dog always does a great job desheding my very hairy chow mix. We recently adopted a 6 yr terrior mix who has severe issues with his paws (both physical & psychological) They manage to trim the new guys nails which is not at all easy! Highly recommend!

This groomer is top-notch! Very professional, attentive and they truly care about their 4-legged clients. My dog was a little lethargic today and they pointed that out to me when I picked her up. They also noticed a small lump that hadn't been there previously. Very, very happy with this groomer! Highly recommend!

The staff is super friendly and they gave my dogs the best haircut they've ever had! My Morkie also had a little irritation around his eye and they had it cleaned up and looking good by the time I picked them up! 5 stars all the way around! Highly recommend The Dirty Dog!

Wonderful place with some incredible employees. They are always are so sweet to our furry family member. If you want you pets treated with love please visit this local shop. They go above and beyond.

Excellent groomers! Good people that care for animals. Price is good for what you get. Place is a little outdated and small, that's only reason I didn't give 5 star review.

I'm writing this review after years (at least 5 maybe 10) of taking our dog, Sophie, to Dirty Dog. Dirty Dog has always done a great job. I believe tons of people have had just as great an experience because they're always super busy! She always has the cutest bandana or barrettes appropriate for the season/ holiday. The staff is also super pleasant & appreciative of our business.

I will say that for Sophie it's a little expensive, to us, but I've tried other places & she just doesn't look in any way as professional as she does after her visit to Dirty Dog.

I can't speak for the current ownership, but my childhood dog, Pidge, a then 6 year old Australian Shepard, couldn't walk for three days after one visit in the mid 90's. She developed a psychosis since the visit and became highly aggressive. I'm shocked and saddened you're still in business.

This was my first time taking my dog here and it will also be my last. I picked him up Wednesday after his appointment and he was acting weird and shaking. I got home and noticed an awful irritation under his belly and on his little butt. After a vet visit it was said that they were from dirty clippers. His butt bled for two days and he didn't stop shaking until yesterday. Toby has been getting groomed once a month for five years and never have I ever had any problem like this. It's now been a week and he still isn't acting his normal self.

I tried, very nicely may I add, to go back and express what happened to the owner of the store. After explaining how this all cost me over $140 she didn't even give me my money back for the groom, and I didn't get a single apology.
