Diva Dogs Day Spa

My dog is extremely anxious and barks a lot, but not aggressive. When I first made the appointment, they were not judgmental at all like some places are. Bringing her in, they were super nice and made me and her both feel welcome. (also the place smells so good for a grooming salon). When I got my dog back, they told me how great she was other than having a lot of puppy energy lol.

And normally when she leaves a groomer or a vet she is super stressed and anxious the rest of the day, but she isnt either. She is acting like normal as if she loved the place. They did an amazing job and I can tell they know how to handle anxious dogs!

I wasn't offered any services. Had to pull out the details of the service I did get. Was charged 30 dollars more than I was quoted over the phone. The actual cut was nowhere close to precise, nor was her face breed specific. They shaved her which I understood but her face was noticeably uneven. The said they didn't have nail polish but the service was offered on their board in the lobby. No picture was taken like they used to do. Overall I wasn't thrilled. I'm pretty sure I won't return. Maybe someone else will have better luck but I'll pass.

I have been taking my pit mix to DivaDogs for 2 years now. I am very much attached to my Petey boy and I am comfortable dropping him off with David and Jen. He always comes out with a goofy smile and looks/smells so clean and fresh. If you're looking for a groomer who treats your pet like their own, this is the one! I have attached a picture of my boy after his grooming session and the adorable report cards that DivaDogs give you.

Our most recent experience was very poor. Our dog was well groomed, but she was there for almost 6 hours.

They are very professional and pay attention to details I like that when they do have any questions they actually call me to make sure they're doing the correct things to my pets. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. And they treat my dogs like if it was their own.

I've taken my dogs here before with no issues. Most recently I was told on Friday evening if I brought them in Saturday morning they would be done in a few hours. My dogs are short haired labs, they just get baths and their nails trimmed, nothing special at all. I finally called at 2pm and they said it would still be at least another hour maybe more.

I said I need to come get them if that's the case because I couldn't stay in town that long as we were getting ready to leave which is why I asked before I booked their appt what timeframe I would be expecting. They said they would be done by 3pm. At 3:15pm, 6 hours since I've dropped them off, I get a call saying they still aren't done and that my male dog chewed up his harness.

I had said on our first appt not to leave them in their harnesses because they get nervous and chew them. The employee told me the "dryer" blew it into his crate and he was able to chew it through the crate. I do not believe that story at all and would have valued the truth that they most likely left them in their harnesses while they were crated.

What that story does tell me is that for 6 hours no one even LOOKED at my dogs. So now I've waited all day for them when they were supposed to be done in the afternoon and I have to purchase a new harness. They did, however, give me $40 cash to replace his harness which was a pleasant surprise. There are too many other groomers in this area for this place to keep my animals unattended for over 6 hours, go somewhere else y'all.

Under new management. Sadly the same standards as old are not applied. The man who checked my dogs in was abrupt to the point I was uncomfortable. I was used to kind and caring service from previous owners. Topping that off, they couldn't find my dogs records and called me AFTER they began service and I had long gone to tell me grooming/lion cut for my 13lb Pomeranian mix was going to be $85 vs price i had paid if $60. I should have turned around then. Not sure what happened but my Pekingese mix came home terrified and remained skittish the rest of the day Will not return.

I took my 3 small dogs in for their first visit and I was asked what service we would like. I had explained 2 needed a full groom and 1 needed only a mini groom. When I was called for pickup, I asked for my total and was told it was $190. I asked for a breakdown and was told each groom was $60 plus 1 $10 hypo. I explained 1 was jusIt a mini. I was told that a mini and a full groom is the same per the owner.

Owner says, "Once the scissors hit the dog, price is the same". I have been a dog owner for many years and never been to a groomer that charges the same for a mini and full groom. I feel that if this is their policy (which is unusual) then they should post it or at least inform their clients at drop off. On a positive note, the groomer actually did a great job! I would love to be a long term client but just feel like that policy is wronging the guest.

I have a 5 year old doodle thats never been professionally groomed before (only by me), we just moved here so i decided to get her groomed at the carolina forest location and let me just say, Whitney, the groomer, was the BEST. My dog is a little shy at first so despite being busy she took the time to sit there and get a proper introduction with me and my dog and took the time needed for my pup to be comfortable with her.

And then she did the cut that i asked to perfection. Soo impressionable and nice. I was worried since this was her first time leaving her at a groomers & as long as im living here, i will be going back to whitney. Highly recommend

Diva Dogs is an excellent place to have your dog groomed. They are very professional, kind and articulate in making sure your dog gets the look that makes them special. Our Groomer Darla, is the best there is! Love, love, love her!

Amazing experience with these guys! They were able to fit my sweet baby in at the last minute due to him being a recent rescue and they worked so hard on him all day to save his beautiful fluffy husky coat! He looks like a different pup they did an absolute amazing job today and Cherokee and I are extremely thankful for all of their hard work today. Will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend them for your grooming needs!

This establishment is disgustingly rude. The owners refuse to pay their employees and withhold their checks. The building itself is a safety hazard to both the pets and employees that reside throughout the day. Please never take your animals to this company, you're better off locating a different boarding company in Myrtle Beach.

Treats workers terribly and has refused to pay more than one of the workers, also not to mention service isnt great, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

They did a great job on Mistah Steve and Savannah! We like Steve a bit shorter and squared jawline and Savannah is growing out her "do" but just need to be cleaned up a bit. They look wonderful. Thanks everyone in the Carolina Forest shop!

Just picked up my dogs from diva dogs on 17 business I went down there today at 1 pm No one was there I now know the pick up times are 10 am and 5 pm as I've been told but if you have an emergency your out of luck! 1callef at 1:12 pm today and the owner did not call me back until after 2 pm I was waiting on someone Showing up to walk the dogs but that never happened I asked the owners when they appeared At 4:40 pm What would happen if there was an emergency you can't get a hold of anyone it had taken Jennifer over an hour to return my call if there was a fire or anything at this establishment your dogs are gone.

Mr Barrett told me that the dog's are left on there own all night and most of the day as I have just discovered he said he doesn't know of anyone who stays with boarding pets! The previous partner Vinnie stayed with the dogs so why the change? I can only say that the service provided now has gone downhill dramatically and the carefree attitude of the owners gives me great concerns so much so that I will not return to this establishment I would just like to add that the first thing the dogs did was to pee defecate and drink gallons of water when I got them home what does that tell you! Ps I had to press 1star to get this to post! If you love your pets board them else where'

My sister took her dog to Diva Dog Spa for the first time. She showed them a picture of K9 Cabana's regular cut (They were not available for a grooming, so my sister thought that she may give this other groomer a try. BIG MISTAKE!). The cut was clean and her coloring was red, for the Pom Fox cut. Her dog was returned to her, shaved all the way down to her skin.

She was white. My sister simply walked out, worried about how low the cut was, as other groomers have warned her not to ever cut her this low. Now. Almost a month later, this is what the hair growth looks like. Poor doggie. I would not recommend this groomer to anyone.

I would give zero stars, if I could. THEY SHAVED MY POMERANIAN down to her skin and then hung up on me when I complained her hair growth was stunted! Disrespectful, unskilled and trashy! My flea free dog came home with freaking fleas! Never ever again. I WILL SUE THEM FOR THIS AND I HAVE THE MONEY TO PLAY WITH. Y'ALL SCREWED!

Lovely dog spa! Super cute atmosphere, clear that the owners put their hearts into it. Good communication, excellent job on bath and grooming. Will definitely be my go-to groomer in this area. GPS gave me a little trouble- made it a little hard to find--might want to call for directions.

I recently used Diva Dogs as I needed my 2 Boston Terriers boarded for a week while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. This establishment came with a very good referral from a Friend of mine. I will tell you I was not happy with the services at all. I am an active duty a marine and was glad to hear that the owner's (Jen and Vinni) support the military with a nice discount as Vinni was in the Marine Corps. Unfortunately, Vinni was full of empty promises about sending pictures and videos of the dogs several times throughout the week.

We never received any pictures or video. My wife and I contacted Jen and Vinni 3 times throughout the week to ask about the Pics/Videos. We were told each time that they would be sent the next day. Needless to say, none were ever received. Next, we were gives a long song and dance by Vinni on how my dogs would be given a complimentary spa treatment (bath/facial/grooming).

This never happened either. As far as this shortcoming is concerned, we called early Thursday to let Diva Dogs know that we would pick our dogs up as early as possible Saturday because we were not happy with the services. We were told we could pick them up at 0800 Saturday morning and we assumed their complimentary grooming would be complete. When we showed up at 0825, the dogs grooming had not been performed or even started. END STATE: I am sure they conduct a great grooming service.but I wouldn't know because they never got to it even though they had a week to get it done.

I will tell you this is not the place to go if you board your dogs here and want any kind of update on how they are doing during their stay. Empty promises and disappointed customers. Unfortunately we will not be back even with they're more than fair rates. I'd rather pay more to get what I was promised.

We habe taken our pup here several times note and continue to get great service. They listen to what you want and expect from and definitely deliver. Always professional and never hurrying me out the door. They are what I'm looking for in a dog groomer.

Jackson stayed for 3 nights and received a grooming afterwards. He was clearly taken well care of, returned to us much happier than typical when he is boarded. His grooming was 5 star. VERY REASONABLE PRICES.
