Our Board & Train program is where the dog stays with Instructor, Liza Williams, and works on skills requested by their owners. We got our German Shorthaired Pointer, Lily, after years of research. We knew that this breed required a great deal of exercise, but we were not expecting her to be so headstrong!
Our Breed Handling class meets on Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. This is a "Drop In" class, by RESERVATION. Please contact us before 4:00 pm on Wednesday, to confirm your attendance. Prepare for the Conformation show ring, train young dogs, practice time for Jr. Handlers and newcomers to the sport.

This place is a treasure. Awesome training program as well as daycare. Mary and her staff have coached me to success with my dogs: 3 CGC certifications, 2 Therapy dog certifications and a CD. They know their stuff.

Great place to train. Liza and Mary do a great job teaching all levels. and building skills at the basic levels that transfer to higher levels. My rescue dog, coupled with Covid times not leaving the house, my guy has come a loonnnggg way in the last 2 years. The first few times I had to carry him into class. he is well adjusted now, grateful for the school. The level on trainers far exceeds the big box store trainers, which makes the biggest difference at the basic levels on training learning from a pro.

Unlike most place they don't search out extra things for you to pay for! They genuinely care for the client and dogs and do what is needed for the dog to thrive and be happy and well behaved and trained. Great advice for training at home to ensure that the dog maintains their behavior. BEST PLACE hands down. I would recommend to any and everyone.

Had my first private lesson, with Mary, for our dog Molly today. It was a very good level setting session. We covered a number of methods for both encouraging and discouraging behaviors. I was so pleased, I signed up for some day school sessions for Molly as well.

We absolutely love Dog Town! They are the most caring people and when you drop off your dog you know he/she will be well taken care of. Baylee enjoyed going every week and when she got home she was so tired from playing. MaryAnn and her staff are the best! I'd give them more than 5 stars if that was an option!

I've used Dog Town for both 'doggie playcare' as well as taken various obedience classes. Mary and her staff are truly wonderful trainers during class and more than doggie sitters during play time. They are a great source of information and observation about you and your dog and that interaction as well as the interaction with other dogs. Another thing I really appreciate is that the staff work with your dog to reinforce your training with the dog so there is consistency for practice of good behaviors.
