Doggedly Devoted

At first, I was very nervous about having someone come into my home to take care of my dog, Katie. In the past I had boarded her, where there were several other dogs. When she was younger, that was a good "fit" for her, but as she got older, it wasn't the most optimal environment. I would see Julie's car in our neighborhood, with her business logo on it, and decided to call on her for a meet and greet.

I was very impressed by Julie's professionalism and attention to detail during our meeting. She has taken care of Kate twice now, and both times she has done an impeccable job. The entire time I was away, I never once was worried about my Kate, which speaks volumes! Julie would text me only when she felt it was necessary for Katie's benefit. Julie also took care of feeding my feral cats in the evening, which gave me peace of mind while away, and watered my plants as I had asked. Needless to say, it is so hard to find someone who is responsible and dedicated these days, especially when it comes to trusting someone to come into your home, and take care of your most precious possession! After knee surgery I hired Julie to walk my dogs. It's obvious she is an animal lover, she is in control and they hang by the door after she leaves, wanting her to come back. Just talking to her, I would totally trust her to pet sit at my house. There just aren't enough good things I can say about Julie.

Julie is wonderful and we trust her with our babies & our home. We always know that we can relax & enjoy our vacations and don't have to worry about our "kids" when Julie is there. She always sends updates and pics We are so happy that we found Doggedly Devoted!

Julie checked all the boxes. My dogs are my kids so safety comes first. Julie is insured & certified with accredited Pet Sitters International - an association which includes CPR, First Aid and other tested experienced knowledge for pet care. Her experience of 17 years in this area gives me comfort knowing Javalina, Cougars and other dogs won't be a threat while out walking.

I have 2 young, strong Dobermans that Julie handles with confidence and ease. She supports my positive training style while on leash. My dogs are always excited to be in her company. I highly recommend Julie!

Julie is a caring pet sitter. She is reliable and communicated with us about our 3 dogs while we were away. One of our dogs had an issue and she called us and handled the situation well. We will definitely be using her again!

Our family has known Julie for 15 years now and we wouldn't trust anyone else with our dogs. Julie goes above and beyond. Besides making sure our dogs are fed, walked (meds if needed) and happy she will also get the mail, water plants and watch over the house. She has taken our dogs to the vet and helped us when our house started to flood while we were away! Julie truly cares about her clients and their animals. We highly recommend Julie to watch your pets. She's trustworthy and very dependable.

We have a 12 year old Papillon that was just diagnosed with heart disease and had gone into congestive heart failure 3 weeks prior to our planned vacation to Hawaii. Because of this I didn't want to go on the trip. My dog was obviously struggling and the gazillion meds did not seem to be as effective as I hoped. I was super discombobulated after his two night stint at the Prescott ER Vet.

I screwed up the return date and Julie's helper had a prior obligation so could not stay an additional night. Needless to say I was in a panic. Thank goodness Julie funds a professional operation and stepped up for us. She personally stayed at our home even with a totally full schedule. Somehow she made it work and I am eternally grateful. Had it not been for her it could have been a very bad situation.

I must say I don't post many reviews, but when someone handles a crisis the way Julie did for us warrants sharing that experience with anyone looking for a pet sitter or someone to walk their dog. Julie had been walking our Catahoula for awhile when this happened so our animals knew her. It's an amazing feeling to actually trust the person looking out for all of our pets and to make sure our sick little man gets his medication on time. I cannot recommend Julie and Doggedly Devoted highly enough. She is a professional and truly cares about animals. That is not easy to find in Prescott, AZ.

Julie was just wonderful with our cat cooper! They bonded instantly when she arrived for her complimentary first visit to our home. Her attention to detail was so reassuring to us that we immediately felt at ease leaving Cooper in her care. We came home to a very happy Cat after our vacation! Not to mention freshly watered plants, empty trash cans and a weeks worth of mail safely picked up daily. I highly recommend Doggedly Devoted and will certainly call Julie again the next time we are in need of a pet sitter. Thank you so much Julie!

We have tried the local kennels and when we picked up our dogs after a few days they where exhausted and acted like they had not eaten or slept in days. After having Julie come to the house and take care of our dogs a couple times each day we feel like the dogs are much happier and healthier in their own home. We have used Julie a number of times and she loves the dogs and communicates with us almost daily. Highly recommended.

Julie is a true animal lover and very professional business owner. She is kind and caring as well as organized and reliable. My precious pet is in excellent hands when Julie is taking care of him. She is a gem and I am grateful that she is our petsitter!

Julie is an absolute professional. All of the i's are dotted and the t's crossed. I felt very comfortable leaving my cherished dog in her care when I lived in the Prescott area. Provisions are made in case you don't return home on time, your pet needs the vet, and just about any other problem that may arise.
