I wasn't able to attend the training that Steve provided for my German Shepard. My daughter was included in the training. I came home to a different dog! He is calm and nowhere near as anxious. I was really thinking that I was going to have to rehome him but thanks to Steve, I have a well behaved German Shepard. I am not worried about having company anymore. This man is a GENIUS! He IS The Dog Whisperer.

I had an aggressive and reactive 3yo German Shepard that I just couldn't get a handle on, barking like crazy, got out of my mom's grip when trying to walk around other people and dogs. After meeting Steve, he was a different dog in a matter of minutes. His training methods are simple and effective, he's very honest and informative with how he helps train not only the dog but yourself as well.
Within an hour and a half visit to my home, he has helped me learn how to get a handle on my dog and have a much more enjoyable life for not only me, but the dog as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with Steve and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone to help train their dog!

Checked on the web a whole bunch, talked to a lot of people, hired Steve, he came down to old Louisville and worked with me. My dog was aggressive towards other dogs and people. A 60 pound male pit bull who was very difficult to control when he would lunge and try to bite. First day Steve showed up and walked right up to my dog and pet him on the head, took the leash from my hand and said let me work with him for a while and within 25 minutes The dog is no longer aggressive. A friend told me about Steve it was a great move because the dog has been really a pain in the rear end for a long time and now he's not aggressive. -Lydia H 7-1-2019

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Steve! The training skills we learned as owners and his ability to connect with the dog immediately were outstanding. That alone was well worth the money! To make it better: we set some goals (walking beside us properly and not jumping on people) from the beginning and accomplished major improvements after only 2 visits! So, we were able to move on to other types of training for the rest of the sessions!
Something else I'd like to point out that sets Steve apart from other trainers. he listens to your story and truly cares about accomplishing your goals. Before finding Steve, we called around to many dog trainers all over Louisville, and every one told us that my standard poodle, who already had all the basics down and had been solcialized, needed to start in a kindergarten class. But Steve was the first trainer we talked to that actually listened to our story, listened to what we wanted out of hiring a Trainer. I would recommend him to anyone!

I have an American Bully, Steve has helped my dog have a brand new personality. From the 1st to the last visit my dog has improved tremendously. Steve is very down to Earth & tries to help you get the best personal results you are wanting for your dog. Through his techniques & daily training I did after my dog has been wonderful! Steve is one of the best dog trainers I know, hands down! We found him when our german shepherd puppy was about 5 months old and completely crazy; we could barely control him, and we couldn't take him anywhere. Steve has completely transformed our boy in such a short period of time. After the first couple lessons, he was already a different puppy.
He is now 10 months old, and we are still working with Steve. Everyone who comes in contact with our german shepherd is impressed by his mannerisms and self-control, and they can't believe how young he is. Not only does Steve know these dogs better than anyone else, he understands their behavior, and he has trained us just as much as he has trained our puppy (training doesn't end when Steve leaves).
He is very interactive with us during training, and he even brought our young kids into the training a few times so they would know the correct way to handle him. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with Steve and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Steve!

I have a deaf Boston Terrier with some aggression issues and when I contacted Steve, he was able to come to my home the very next day. He is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and has proved to be great at training a deaf dog. He is very patient with me and my dog and I was able to see major progress after one session. If you are in need of a trainer for your dog, call Steve, you wont regret it!
