Doggy Has It

My two dogs love being at Doggy Has It. I have boarded them for a week to 2 weeks at a time. Occasionally, they go to Daycare when I have tradesmen over working in the house. Anya is wonderful with them. You can see that she loves the dogs. She is also a great groomer. The area were they are crated is spacious and not crowded and she only boards 10 dogs at a time.

Outside the dogs have a huge area with equipment on it to run & jump & play. My older dog is an 11 yr old collie who was a nervous wreck at the other places I have boarded her. Thank goodness I discovered Doggy Has It. My 11 yr old loves going and has a good time from the videos Anya sends me. I highly recommend Doggy Has It. When I leave my dogs with Anya, I have no worries and I know they are in very good hands.

Honestly this lady and her business are one of the best I have ever seen for dogs. She is a true angle. Trust this lady with your dogs. Like someone else said I would also give her 10 stars if I could.

If I could rate her a 10, I would! She does a great job with my cocker spaniel. She's the only one who shapes her head right. Other places just don't do it right. She even sent me pictures to make sure I'm satisfied and to see if any adjustments need to be made My dog lady has recently went blind and she explained to me the steps that she took to groom her and just cared for her so well. She cares about the dogs and takes good care of them! Best around!

Sending my doggies to daycare here has been such a blessing. Anja takes such good care of our loved ones - they get great socialization, have learner better manners, and just love going there (they can hardly contain themselves when we drive up). Thank you for taking such good care of Oli and Harley!

I just called to request an appointment for my cocker spaniel, and the lady that answered (Anja) said she "does not feel comfortable doing haircuts on cocker spaniels and poodles because their hair tends to get matted a lot" and it's hard to cut. My dog is a senior and has lipomas on her body of which require the groomer to be very careful. She's a very gentle and behaved dog.

I am glad that lady was honest as I would NEVER take my dog to a groomer of which feels uncomfortable, as that makes me feel uncomfortable. Also, if you're a GROOMER, you need to be prepared for these situations as you're a groomer, it comes with the profession.

Anja is dog-savvy and caring with a good attention to customer service. Our dogs had a fantastic time boarding with her and she sent us a lot of videos and pictures during their stay. Definitely recommend.

Anja does such a wonderful job for my puppies. They are always taken care of and she uses natural products which makes me feel so much better. I would never take them anywhere else. Been visiting her with them for 6 years now. Love going there for them

This is not an individual just grooming dogs as a job. This is someone who has worked with dogs since she was a child and has a heart for them. She's does a great job every time and we don't ever worry about their care while there. I'd give her higher than five stars is possible. Tina Sisko

Anja is amazing with our dog. She is very friendly and Experienced. I wont let any other groomer touch our dog Anja is the best dog groomer in the area. Alot of our family brings their dogs to her. I hate the way petsmart treats the dogs and i made the mistake of taking my dog there. Her anxiety was through the roof! When i took my dog to Anja she not only gets better care and attention, she comes out with her tail wagging and i can see my dog is happy. Thank you Anja for always taking care of our family dogs i wouldnt take her anywhere else!

Anja is the best groomer. We travel far for grooming and boarding. She's truly a caring individual. A dog whisperer and an advocate for senior dogs. Can't recommend enough.

Excellent care of our two dogs for over a week. Anja is a true "dog whisperer ".! Lots of explore walks and interesting fun projects for them every day to prevent boredom. We almost felt they didn't want to come home at the end of their stay with her! We wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else.

Anga has a great set up for boarding. Our dogs get to run outside, she plays games with them, has a baby pool for them to cool off. The cages are oversized so very roomy for my dogs. She does a wonderful job grooming my dogs, they do not shed so they need continual grooming. Would highly recommend if you want a more cozy boarding experience for your dogs.

Anja did a wonderful job several times with our nervous labradoodle. He looked great and she is gentle and takes enough time to make sure the dog has a good experience. Knowledgeable and kind.

Anja is more than just a great groomer, she truly loves and cares for each of her doggy clients. Lily is my baby and I would let anyone else groom her. Anja is amazing, she a dog whisperer, she speaks their langue.

Anja is one of the most compassionate, professional and most importantly experienced dog groomers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! She is patient and extremely careful when trimming my senior dog's nails leaving him happy and stress free after every visit. I would highly recommend her!

After trying various groomers throughout the years, and not really happy with any of them. I found Anja through a friend and was impressed from the first groom. Not only does she groom your dog, but she is a true dog lover that wants the best for your pooch. She's given me so much info throughout the years, that have been so helpful. I can not say enough about her, her doggy wisdom and love for our four legged friends!

I've been going to Anja for over 6 years. There's a reason for that. I'm surprised she had a bad review as she is nothing but great with my dog. She's very knowledgeable and loved animals. Anytime I had a concern about my dog she would make sure to recommend where to take him and she would follow up days and days later to check on my dog, mind you she's a Groomer. She's busy because she does a great job and to ensure your dog isn't sitting there waiting with other dogs. She takes one at a time. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks Anja

NEVER AGAIN! When I expressed my dog needed his anal gland popped during the grooming process, she tried to explain it wasn't necessary and didn't do it. WRONG! My dog has been going crazy for over a week now with irritation back there. what a nightmare. I guess since she already got paid for the grooming she doesn't care. When I contacted her today and said he needs it done today (5 days after grooming), she says she has no time and he has to wait 2 more days.hmm of course she doesn't have a whole 5 minutes it takes to pop these glands.

She tried giving me a whole run a round about how he has to be washed after the glands are relieved. Really? The vet says NOT! Customer care NEGATIVE 5 stars! When you have a client with a problem you make it a priority and do whatever it takes to fix the problem, not make them wait 3 days with an extremely irritated rear end! How extremely UNPROFESSIONAL!

So much more could be said. BEWARE, she only wants your $$$$$. Once she has that, you're dust in the wind. and this woman was aware of my request for this service when my dog was dropped off!

Anja does an amazing job on both our dogs. I have been bringing them here for over a year now and she consistently does a great job. She is easy to work with and has a genuine passion for dogs. I recommend Anja for any type of dog!

Anja is more than a groomer. She is a friend to all dogs. I have 3 very diverse pooches and she handles them all with ease - from the hyper one, to the shy one, to the senior who she readily admits is her favorite. They all have different needs not only for grooming, but emotionally. Her love of dogs shines through on every visit and they all come home happy and beautiful.

She is very flexible with her schedule and has good advice on general dog care. Her prices are terrific for the quality of the grooming. She is a straight shooter with a heart of gold. I couldn't recommend her enthusiastically enough!

This is the best place I have seen for dog grooming. Just took my dog for the first time, Anja is very nice and truly cares about the pets. My dog is old and has a lot of issues and she treated each one with sensitivity. This is definitely going to be my groomers for my dog from now.

Very nice groomer. Have had issues in the past with dogs getting water in their ears and coming home and then having issues, but not here. I was able to get an appointment right away as well. Person I talked to was very friendly and helpful. I will be back.

I live in Des Plaines, but I heard rave reviews about Anja and Doggy Has It so I thought the trek out to South Elgin was completely worth it for my dog. I've had my dog groomed at your typical Petsmart and the like but no other experience has been as great as this one. Anja is an animal lover to the core, you can just tell in the way she speaks to you, treats you and your pet.

She has absolutely reasonable prices and does great work. My dog is a spoiled brat and Anja was able to work with him just fine, and it only took an hour and a half. She doesn't cage the animals so they aren't going to sitting, frightened in a cage for 2 hours like how they do it at Petsmart. Her products are wonderful, in fact since I was a first time customer she threw in a blueberry facial scrub for free : My dog's coat has never been as soft!

I seriously was amazed at how different it felt/looked. I love the way she groomed my dog and will be coming back over and over! I even asked her what products she used so I can use them on my dog in between grooming. All in all, she is really helpful, and her grooming service run out of her living room beats any other store.
