Our dog stayed here couple nights. It was the first time he ever boarded and was away from us. The staff was friendly and did everything possible to make sure we had nothing to worry about. The facility was really clean and big, they have a lot of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to run around. A big plus for us was that we were able to see what our dog was doing through the camera which helped us less anxious.

This is our go-to dog boarding spot. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to roam, and it's always clean. The staff is friendly, and they take really good care of my beagle.

Amazing place for boarding and daycare. Their staff is very attentive to all dogs. Betty has a special way with all animals and even if there are 50 dogs, she remembers exactly how each one behaved to tell you at the end of the day. I was nervous about being away from my dog but Dogone Fun made me feel at ease and my dog was well taken care of. When I went to pick him up he didn't want to leave! Everything is well run and their food selection is incredible. It's a great place to pick up your dog food and treats because it's high quality food at very good prices.

Long story short, we had to board our dogs immediately from relocating from Michigan. They collected needed paperwork, added us on the schedule, and took amazing care of our Fruggle and English bulldog. The team was kind, understanding, friendly, and cared about our dogs. We will continue to bring them for weekly visits.

Our 1st day, so there was a couple of hiccups. Dogs seemed well cared for. Betty was especially friendly and attentive. Our rescue pooch fell asleep on the way home so I feel he had an active day.

Have only great things to say about Doggone fun! Excellent service and most importantly great care of my dog when I am out of town. Very accommodating to last-minute reservations and are very diligent about veterinary records. I leave my dog there with upmost confidence every time!

DoGone Fun has been taking care of my rescue Bull Mastiff for over a year. They were so patient as she was fearful of people and other dogs but now she is a well rounded playful pup. Thanks to the entire staff for showing Sadie so much love!

I want to like this dog daycare more. It is conveniently located, the staff is friendly, and Otis seems to like it just fine. They have convenient hours and a decent play to rest schedule. My lower rating is because it is more on the expensive side, but I am not sure why. I called 8 times today (once because I wanted to ask about the cameras not being on, and then again because I was curious how many times I would have to call to speak to somebody.) Nobody ever picked up.

When I mentioned the cameras, they said management was working on it, but it would have been good to let clients know by word or just a note on the website. For being on the more expensive side, I would just expect a bit more from management.

I've been bringing my dog here for nearly 3 years and continue to find the care and services to be truly outstanding. We use the daycare services regularly and I love that my Xena eagerly rushes to join her doggie and human friends on the playlot. We have also used the boarding services countless times and have been pleased with her care and are equally pleased with grooming services. Thank you for providing such a loving and reliable "home away from home" for my beloved doggie.

We have two 11-year old male Havanese, one of which our previous groomer wouldn't groom because he had just been diagnosed with a heart problem. We asked our vet for suggestions and she referred us to Dan saying "he is really good with 'special needs' dogs". When I picked them up after grooming they acted like they were coming home from a party and their puppy cuts were just spectacular. No groomer anywhere has ever come close to what Dan accomplished today. Too bad there are only 5 stars!

Dan is the man for grooming. My pup (and Covid buddy) has never looked and felt so good after I botched his grooming regimen during the pandemic (while Dan was unavailable). How hard can it be to groom a dog? Watched a few Youtube videos and bought some clippers. Easy right? Well let me tell you.it is pretty difficult. Covid has taught me to be very appreciative of all those things that are right in the universe. DoGone Fun! and Dan have helped my little rascal enjoy his life to the fullest. For that I will always be grateful.

Our dog recently started going here for doggie daycare. He LOVES it! Even though he has only been here a few times, the staff already know him. We feel comfortable that our dog is safe and in good hands!

**STAY AWAY** I made a grooming appointment for my dog and I thought I was good to go. Two days before my Saturday appointment I was called and told that my appointment needed to be rescheduled because my dog was not a regular customer. Mind you, my dog previously was boarded by this facility over a year ago regularly. I was told the only option for grooming was was an appointment during the work week, which was less than ideal.

Before hanging up, I confirmed why my appointment was being rescheduled and was told again it was because I wasn't a regular customer. Not that the current amount of time was booked incorrectly, they accidentally overbooked me or it was a mistake and the groomer wasn't available. It didn't seem to matter AT ALL that I had an appointment already on the books.

I was so angry and knew with it being so close to the holidays it would be very hard to get an appointment somewhere else, so I secured the reschedule that was being offered to me. After thinking about this situation I decided to talk call back and speak with a manager. Upon speaking with the owner Beverly, it was unbelievable to me how unapologetic and unbothered she was.

She NEVER apologized and said she was totally fine with my appointment being rescheduled. I eventually ended the call telling her this appears to be in line with her business standards, so there was no need to continue with my feedback. I was clear in saying I would NEVER patronize her business EVER and I would be writing a review and yelp. The only thing she had to say was Okay! I was DONE I would advise ANYONE not to patronize this business! There are too many groomers in this city to give your money to a business that is not appreciative of it.

When I first started taking my dog here back in 2017, it was a joy for her and for me as the staff were truly experienced, well-trained and friendly. However, in the spate of 2 years, ALL of the staff that were experienced and caring have since left to do their own stints or to work somewhere else. After talking to several of them, I couldn't blame them one bit. Recently, I just started using my trustworthy dog-walker instead.

I just didn't see the value in paying $40 a day for daycare for declining quality and standards. Why not pay your staff better and train them better so that they WANT to stay on and be an asset to Dogone Fun instead of just having a turnover like a revolving door? I just don't get that about companies of that nature. The staff and dogs at DF deserve better, IMHO.

My dog absolutely loves this place. She really came alive with the other dogs especially outside and my favorite things are the doggie cam that I can always view online easily to check in on her and the report cards you get at the end of the day to let you know how your dog's day went. It's the most precious thing ever and I'm always impressed with the comments left on the report card. Yes it is a little pricey but other day cares don't have the cameras or report cards. Also did I mention that my dog loves it here?!

DOG BITE: Attention dog parents, if you value the safety of your pet, please do not use DoGone Fun. My sweet dog was injured by aggressive dogs twice within the last 6 months at this facility. The second dog bite required sedation and surgery. The owner is not doing a good job at screening dogs appropriately. Stay away!

Please do not take your dog(s) here. Dogs are constantly being hurt due to staff negligence and the management is the same way. Getting in contact with them is an absolute nightmare - phones dont get answered and neither do e-mails. Have heard employees bad mouthing clients and their dogs firsthand. All of the employees that actually cared about my dog have left for obvious reasons and the owner is replacing them with lazy people who have no clue how to handle a large group of dogs. Great location, wonderful idea, HORRIBLE execution! If you need to trust someone with your dog PLEASE choose someone else!

We dropped our dog off here for the 3rd time in about 6 months here. she is now 11months. we have spent a little over 500 here is boarding costs to date. First time cameras were down. never saw her on camera during travels. second time, just a lot of dogs. third time over this past christmas-- we received a call from our vet that her paw was severely injured and she needed to be sedated immediately to remove the nail. we never received a call from the Dogone Fun. the vet told us DoGone Fun had called them to bring her in at 9am. they dropped her off around 330, the earliest time the vet could see her and we were not contacted until they needed our verbal ok to sedate her. the vet contacted us. not DoGone Fun. in addition to not being able to walk, she was put on pain meds and antibiotics. we returned home early from our road trip and picked her up from the vet after I spoke with the owner, beverly, and she had no answers, couldn't explain what happened, and just had nothing to say, I had no choice but to rush to pick her up myself because I no longer trusted our dog there with no one knowing what happened and not being contacted ever by them to report the incident. since then, the only thing I received from the owner/facility is an invoice after we were being billed separately by the vet as well. which we won't be paying for obvious reasons. it is so hard to find a safe and enjoyable place for our furry friends while away and as much as I was hoping we would find a location near our home in the south loop, this is not the place. and beware, the owner will play dumb in review responses, blame employees that no longer work there or pretend that customers never have had appointments or are leaving reviews from fake accounts. it's a game they play. pics attached.

We really like DoGone Fun and use their doggie daycare services about 2x per week in addition to occasional overnight boarding. The staff is so nice and accommodating and care about the wellbeing of their doggie guests. Our chubby Chihuahua is very sassy and temperamental (slow to trust people) but the staff is able to work with her quirks. She's not a social butterfly and is much more inclined to "observe" the action, but I've seen an improvement in her behavior around other dogs and people since she's been coming here for almost a year. Also, I love that I can check in our chubbs anytime via the webcam!

We take our dog here for grooming, and all of the groomers have been very good! They take the time to listen to what kind of cut you want, and our dog comes out clean and beautiful every time :

I took my mixed breed 72 pound dog here for a bath. Good thing he is still young otherwise he might be dead. As soon as I got home they called and said come get him. I could have waited. He seemed quiet not like himself at all. When I got home he threw up some yellow stuff. Seemed very inactive not like him at all. For the next few days as I walked him he seemed really scared of males walking by even ducking or cowering down.

To me he behaved like a dog who had been beat and his stomach was upset for several days after. Strangely when younger children approached he was fine but when men walked by or toward him he almost rolled up in a ball. OMG were my thoughts what did they do to him. I did report this to the owner who denied it happened or couldn't believe it happened.

I have never ever left him anywhere poor thing already mis-treated as he is a rescue. Even today I took the small wicker trash can to empty holding it over his head as I returned it he ducked guarding himself from what he thought was an impact coming. So maybe the owner wasn't aware but she really needs to check her employees as someone there is not right I was really looking for a place to board and take him for socializing - I don't think so Not even an apology After reading another unfavorable review the owner also claimed she knew nothing come what are you going to do about it

I have been boarding my dog here for over 2 years. The staff is very professional and flexible with my reservations and last minute changes. My dog also loves coming here! Her tail wags so fast when she sees the handlers. It's also nice to get the free bath after stays longer than 7 days. The only things I would recommend changing: 1) Install higher quality webcams.

Current ones are low quality and it's difficult to tell the dogs apart. 2) Add a fake grass area. It's a little strange to have the dogs do their business on cement, but it works given the urban environment. 3) price is a little high
