Dogs Day Inn is the best place I've ever taken my dogs to. I have 3 Chihuahuas that are very spoiled and I don't let just anyone care for them. My girl Chihuahua doesn't like anyone except for my husband and I, however, after a day maybe two, Lu always manages to get her to come around. If you knew my dog you would find it as amazing as I do.
At Dogs Day Inn LLC Cage Free Dog Boarding we believe knowledge is key. We our looking to provide you with some basic dog information, for those that want it. You may download the Ebooks for free. Be warned! I read the great reviews for this establishment and decided would be great for a one night stay. Sounded great until she told me the price. Was $24.00 for a one night stay which is a little higher than I have ever paid but sounded like it would be worth it. However, she then told me it was $6.00 for every hour after noon and I probably wouldn't be there until around 5:00.

So for a one night stay, it would be $48.00. I have never had t pay an hourly rate plus the nightly charge. She tried to explain that she would be unable to rent the room that night. This should just be the price of doing business to me.

Dropped our 4 dogs off with Lu while staying in Osage Beach for 5 days. Lu was great! We have some challenging small dogs but Lu was able to get them all to warm up to her before the end of their stay. Kennel's were clean and Lu is definitely a great dog guru. Very reasonable prices, we'll be back when we visit next summer!

Lu Harlan has kept my little rescue Chihuhua, Itsy, on many occasions. the past 2 years. Itsy is always excited to go see Lu and excited to come back home. She is always clean and well fed. In my opinion, you will not find a more loving and caring pet home away from your own home than at Dogs Day Inn.

You can't ask for a friendlier dog sitter than Lu! From the moment I first called to learn more about her facility, to the time I picked up my little guys, Lu was pleasant to work with. She's a bit of a straight shooter, but you got to love that about her. I'd recommend her services to anyone!

Ms. Lu runs a fantastic doggy-hotel! We were visiting the area from out of state and found Dogs Day Inn via Google reviews, we were not disappointed! Our dog had plenty of attention and enjoyed watching wildlife from is personal window! Ms. Lu showed great interest in our family, and even sent us pictures of our pup to help his human sibling deal with some separation anxiety! It was nice knowing that our dog was loved and not locked up in a small pen barking with other dogs all day. Thank you Ms. Lu, we hope to see you again!

Lu was super helpful from the very beginning she let us know everything up front and when we got there my dog was instantly drawn to her. Our dog got a huge room where her large kennel and big pillow could fit and she still had quite a bit of room to roam. There are two outdoor areas that are very clean and the place was very nice. Lu gave us updates on our dog which made us feel much better! Hands down the best boarding experience I've had!

Has to be the Best place ever. We just moved Back here to the Lake, and had to do major renovations so our 4 babies had to be boarded, our dogs are our kids, they must must be loved and cared for, we had to leave them for 3 weeks, I was just in tears about leaving them for so long. But Lu the owner ( which now she is Grandma to the dogs). She gave them great care.

When we mention ( let's go see Grandma) they all wag their tails and are ready to go. So to me if your dogs are excited about going, and happy to see Lu, well she is giving great care to our Babies. Thank you so much Lu. we all HIGHLY RECOMMEND. DOGS DAYS INN.

We have been taking our dogs here for over 5 years now. This is a very clean and professional place. Lu, the owner is so good with them, treats them like they are her own. Our little Fox Terrier which is a picky eater will only eat browned burger and rice that my wife makes. Even then we have a hard time getting her to eat sometimes. Lu will go out of her way to warm it up and coax her to eat.

You aren't going to get a kennel to do this! And our dogs are given the option to go out often, and allowed to stay outside for a while if they want, not like your regular vet boarding. We will not take out dogs anywhere else now. Sometimes depending on where we are traveling we have to drive out of the way to take them there, but it is well worth it. Thanks Lu for the good care you show! Mike and family

We always took Dakota our golden here he loved it had a great time and we would pick him up and let him swim in the lake and take him back. He always enjoyed himself. He has passed this year and we are waiting on our new puppy golden but when we visit the lake again this summer he will be staying at Dogs Day Inn LLC with Lu

Lu is Amazing--- 2 years ago I had to go on a unexpected trip and had to leave my dog at the vet boarding for 2 days. When I picked her up she was SO stressed out and upset for several days. Then last year a friend of mine told me about Dogs Day Inn and Lu the owner. I reserved a room (which she has rooms that are divided off like little bedrooms) for my dog and being the first time my dog met Lu she immediately took up with her and my dog is NOT a people person.

That was very impressing to me. I left her there for 2 days and when I picked her up she was just like one little happy kid. I took her home and without any stress from being separated at all. She was her normal self. Then this last Friday I left her again overnight and again the same thing---a happy dog when I picked her up. This lady is amazing!

She really connects with these animals and treats them like they are her own. They get let out more often, get more attention unlike a regular kennel. Nowhere else but Lu's anymore. Thanks Lu Floyd and my dog Sara

We stayed at Lake of the Ozarks for a week in late April and boarded our 3 dogs at Dogs Day Inn so we could walk the state park trails with them in the mornings. Lu was very attentive to our dogs - one needed medicine twice a day - and she gave us easy access to them so we could take them out in the early evening if we wished. The kennel is very close to Lake of the Ozarks State Park, and we'd go there and walk the trails with our pups.

The kennel was ultra clean and the there are no cages, just rooms. There are fenced areas where the dogs can stretch their legs. Lu seems very organized and has thoroughly thought out her setup. She checked our paperwork on arrival to ensure our dogs had their shots, including bordatella. That was comforting, too.

We took our 4 yr old chocolate lab here, because we usually take her to our vet for boarding and though she would enjoy more room and a yard to play in. Well when we dropped her off there were several dogs there barking like crazy.to be expected. However, not long after we hit the road for Texas we got a phone call that our dog was barking and would have to be given a natural sedative to calm her down and that we would be charged more per day.

I wonder if the owners of the other dogs were also charged more as they were barking quite a bit while we were there. We found out when we picked our dog up that the lady that runs the place also sleeps in the building. No wonder she wanted to sedate the barking dogs. If you going to run a boarding kennel maybe you shouldn't sleep in the building or wear ear plugs.

This place is great! We brought our dog here for the day and he came back very happy. They're very flexible with drop off/pick up times and our dog had a private room, no cage which was very important to me.
