Contact Carla for details about 2 older female dogs currently available for placement in suitable homes. Carla, with Bram Bowie Casa de Mandingo's IPO III, Sch III, SPH, FH earned the Dutch Working Champion title three times and also won the International German Championship.
Carla uses motivational training to guide owners and their dogs with major behavioral problems. Her goal is to create a good relationship and total understanding between dogs and their owners. For more information about obedience training, visit Carla's Perfect Obedience Training Facebook page. In addition to our other services, Dutch East Dog Training Center offers obedience classes.
At Dutch East Dog Training Center, we are also breeders of Belgian Malinois for the past 25 years. Our first Bouviers were Arko vd Witteveenseven and Bianca, both of which were Schutzhund III. With these two dogs, we also began breeding, which led to Annabel, the mother of many good working dogs in Germany.
One of the breeds of dogs we specialize at Dutch East Dog Training Center is the Belgian Malinois (aka the Belgian Shepherd Dog). These dogs are often used for investigative tasks such as detecting smells for police work, as well as search and rescue missions. The Secret Service even uses them to guard the White House.

Critical: Professionalism They love money. They make money. Members are Racist! Unprofessional. Not recommendable. Better find better and legit!

Great training environment with high caliber, experienced staff. Adequate facilities. Don't go anywhere else - come here if you have dog issues and want to train AND learn.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. We talked to Carla last week and discussed training for our 1 year old Mastiff. We set up a training session for this morning at 10AM. We purchased the specific type of hot dogs Carla said we needed for the training. We left our house and drove an hour to get to the training session on time. We actually arrived at 945.

The driveway was blocked by a gate. We sat there until 10 and no one came out. We tried calling and just got the voicemail. My husband then walked up to the house and knocked on the doors but no response except for dogs barking. It is extremely unprofessional for a business to act in this manner. Carla had our telephone number and at least she could have called us if she couldn't make the session. We will not return to this facility and we will let all of our dog owner friends not to use Carla and Dutch East Training.

Carla did wonders for my dog Barnabas! He is so well behaved. You have to trust in the system she has. He can go out now and be around dogs and people. He comes, heels, and does exactly what I say. He is so well behaved and Carla is fair in her training prices. I just love her! I highly highly recommend her.

Great for all breeds. Karla is very straight forward and counts on you to do the work every day. She trains the owner more than the dog and that's how it should be! My family has trained our sheppard with her and is in the process of training out golden retriever puppy there as well. He is only 4 months old and is more behaved than most adult dogs. She holds you accountable but if you are willing to do the work you will get what you need!

I first met Karla taking the time to explain what I was looking for in training. The first step was to train my shepherd in obedience then I wanted him put into the program in protection. The dog was bought for my wife to be a protection dog. I know that my wife and myself had this conversation with Karla many times. There's the first issue she doesn't listen, having to repeat yourself many times.

The 2nd issue she always had a problem with me showing up early for training. She always had something to say. The third issue with as many years of training you would think that she could tell to buy the right equipment for dog training. The two prong collars where the wrong size, I bought a different larger one and he responded to every command. Karla is a very unprofessional bitter lady who complains about everything, spends most of the time sitting in a chair chain smoking.

In the end going to Karla for advice it seemed it was an inconvenience, needless to say my shepherd was attacked by two pitbulls and I wanted to understand the situation. In the end I was told that somebody had a problem with myself wearing a knife on my side. My response, I asked if she realized that this was the state of Virginia, there shouldn't be an issue with wearing a tool on your side. Its been weeks no phones calls from Karla asking or caring about my dog that was attacked. Just goes to show she really doesn't care and a bitter person!

Took my pitbull mix here as a last resort. She was dog aggressive and I couldn't take her on walks almost at all. Within the first 2 sessions, we could go on long walks without any trouble and I was able to help my dog get her energy out to focus training her in other areas of obedience. This training was a life saver.

Carla, the head trainer, is great. I have been to 10 lessons and it has completely transformed my dog, a 1 year old male German Shepherd. I plan to go back as soon as my work schedule clears up. It's difficult to go every weekend for the Schutzhund training being in the military. Their facility is great as well, 1 large field to work on obedience, agility, and protection.

Plus have other fields to work on scent tracking, if that is something you interested in. They also have a nice clubhouse for you to use the restroom if need be. All in all, this is the place to go if your dog needs basic obedience training, you are interested in Schutzhund, or your dog has temperament issues.
