They took my daughter's cat in immediately, and treated him. In a couple of weeks, we'll make an appointment for a bath and a nail trim. Nice folks!

Our pup gets so nervous going to the vet, but the team here was great at comforting her during her exam and treatment. Dr. Lautner took his time with us making sure to explain everything clearly, and make sure all my questions were answered. I really enjoy the automated text reminders about her medication and appointment schedule too. My only worry was the 8 days between when I initially called and their first available appointment, but the staff can't exactly make more hours in a day. What they did do was offer great service once we made it in.

Our 17 year old cat hadn't been eating or drinking for 48 hours, so we tried taking to her previous vet and they told us they couldn't see her. I was so upset and after reading online about the East Side Animal Hospital I decided to see if they could examine her. Thankfully they were so sweet and able to see her first thing. The staff was all very caring and understanding of us needing to take our time with her.

After taking time to talk about the options and the continued care, we ultimately decided it was time to put our cat to sleep. She was suffering and it was hard to watch. They were so gentle and gave us room to process through our emotions. If we ever get another pet in the future, we will absolutely bring them here! I can't say enough good things about them!

Since my dog Elvira was rushed here after a car wreck we have had nothing but phenomenal service. The woman working the front desk, Briana, has been incredibly empathetic, kind, and helpful. Dr. Haines performed Elvira's leg amputation and femur reconstruction with no complications and was wonderful when explaining the surgery performed. The entire office has helped us tremendously during the worst time of our dog's life and we cannot thank them enough for working with us during such an incredibly difficult situation. They were upfront about the estimate as well, which I greatly appreciate as a medical worker used to seeing hidden fees in hospitals.

We were struggling to get our little Havanese in with his vet despite an unending, non-productive, painful sounding cough. His regular clothes nix boarded him, gave him his vaccinations, checked for heart worm, but did nothing to figure out his debilitating cough. I have always been used to receiving rapid care in the event of an emergency. I was told I would have to take him to the emergency veterinary clinic downtown if it was an emergency or they could get me in by January 8th.

I called East Side Animal Hospital, and with it being the day before Christmas Eve, I did have to wait until the 27th, but they had no other time. The staff was very nice and empathetic. Dr. Haines was the best vet I have ever worked with. He kept apprised of all test results, approximate costs of tests and procedures, and answered all my questions unrushed.

I thanked him for his thorough he was and his time, and he said that he only treated me the way that he would want to be treated with his pet. We are deeply saddened to discover our little guy is in heart failure, but but buoyed by the support and compassionate care we have received. We feel confident that we have a team working with us to help us keep our fella feel as well as he can and enjoy the life he still has ahead.

I am extremely satisfied with this animal hospital. Dr. Haines and his entire staff are top notch. Very professional, thorough, and totally caring! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this animal hospital! In fact, I would never take my fur babies anywhere else!

I just moved into evansville and this is one of the few vets still taking new patients, unfortunately. They are holding my very elderly dogs pain medication hostage to try to force me into getting her $200 cbcs every 6 months. They don't care about my very elderly dogs quality of life - they just want to milk as much money as possible out of me. And, if you complain they do you as a patient knowing no other vets are taking new patients.

I took my two American bullies kon and fendi here. I absolutely love it. I was going to another vet but due to one of my dogs having an emergency a couple months ago I had to take them here. They quality of care and love for the animals they treat was so fantastic that we switched. The prices are fair and they work with you. Today they got some shots and meds.

They were once again excellent. Especially the lady that I interacted with that comes out to get the animals from you. I don't remember her name but she was so nice and sweet. She explained in detail what they would be doing and the prices. She even ran back to make sure she gave me a coupon when I was picking them up. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur kids.

Two words nickel and dime, for any reason. My dog is all up to date with his shots and I sent them proof, but they always required some other shot my dogs going to have to get, that's going to raise that price. My dog got a bath there once and it was the best bath he's ever got. That's the only reason I'm giving two stars. So I received an email for a $15 bath, and I made a appointment.

I confirmed the price and suddenly it's $150 - $230. See images. This is the only place Iv taken my dog and receive any push back regarding my health records or need for additional services. The staff and facility seem top notch, but I will never be back.

On her 2nd day with us, I woke up with several concerns about my newly-adopted Pomeranian. She had a few symptoms and a couple conditions that could mean something or nothing serious. I'm as much a worried dog mom as my worried son's mom and wanted to get her looked at some place nearby right away. When we called East Side Animal Hospital and asked for a same-day appt., they scheduled us for a visit 30 min. later.

I don't know if this was an "available" appointment or an imposition that was accommodated---and, that's one way you know the service was good. Our new pet got a full workup and thorough exam. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction (and there were many) as the staff worked with, both, us and the dog, patiently. Although this was an unusual situation for us, their help and assurance was exactly what we needed this day. ESAH is yet to meet our Maltese, but having recently relocated, both pets need a good veterinarian---and we believe we've found ours.
