Fantastic Dog and Cat Sitting Service is a small neighborhood business that was founded by Dan MacDonald in 1998. Dan and his team of trusted associates take pride in providing quality care. My company provides each pet with dog walking and cat sitting and also makes sure that each animal receives the proper amount of food and water. I also have experience caring for birds, reptiles and small exotic animals excluding tropical fish. We also attend to other needs at no extra charge including cleaning up accidents, newspaper/mail retrieval, packages, and alternating lights for security.
Services
If you'd like, we can also provide the following services to give you peace of mind while you're away from your home: alternating your house lights, newspaper/mail retrieval, watering of Plants, taking out trash and recycling, and other services - just ask. My company offers overnight care for animals that don't do well when left alone.
Fantastic Dog and Cat Sitting Service has many years of experience working with pets with medical issues. Dan has been administering medications to animals for over 18 years. My experience in giving a diabetic cat a shot has been very extensive over the years. I was mentored by an RN Nurse friend of mine back in 1999.

Dan has been "fantastic" with taking care of my cats when I have to be out of town. He's taken great care of my older cat who needs insulin shots, successfully dealt with the younger ones who don't really like people they don't know, and has been able to make space for me on short notice when last-minute trips have come up. He's even cleaned up messes that have occurred while I'm gone. Would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quality and caring cat (or dog) sitter!

Me and my wife trusted Fantastic Dog and Cat Sitting with the care of our two elderly cats (the cats had been with her before she met me) up to their last days. Rhett needed subcutaneous saline at the end, and, in case you don't know, that takes a bit of patience with an animal that is already uncomfortable. Our new cat after a couple of years also loves Dan.

My experience with Rina was exceptional. My dog Kiki LOVED Rina. Kiki was not super friendly with other dogs and pretty wary of strangers, and she needed someone special to take care of her. Rina was a perfect fit, so friendly, flexible, and understanding. She took the extra time to get to know Kiki's personality, and I knew whenever she was with Rina I didn't have to worry. She did both walks and housesitting. Great service.

This is a wonderful service! When I made my first inquiry, Dan responded within a very short period of time. I was pleased because often responses are delayed for a while. I met both Dan and Jeff ( who would be taking care of my cats) and was impressed by their professionalism as well as compassion for pets. While I was away for 10 days, Jeff kept in touch with all his cat reports. When I came back, my place was tidied up and my cats were relaxed. I highly recommend Dan and Jeff!
