Services
For mature dogs that live indoors, most "super-premium" dog foods should be fed at a rate of about one 8 ounce measuring cup for every 25-30 lbs of your dog's body weight per day. If your dog lives outdoors or is exposed to stress (if your dog "works for a living", if you run with your dog, etc.) you may have to feed more, but in every case check your dog's weight every couple of weeks to make sure that your dog isn't putting on unwanted weight. You should be able to feel your dog's ribs (especially the last three) but not too prominently.
We highly recommend the foods that we carry, but if you aren't feeding any of the following foods and don't want to switch, all you need to do is e-mail us, call, or stop in and give us your information and we will get it ordered for you! We order every week so just make sure you don't order when you are completely out of food. We thank you for shopping locally!

Puppies come from Iowa and breeder # not answered! I was told on phone my dogs weight expected, but later when reading papers she is twice that weight. Parents were larger ten told. She is hyper, bites and not potty training. I called to get answers and was told unless it's a physical problem they couldn't help. They told me the breeder never had issuesTried trainers no luck. Tried to regime 3 times and got her back. Please do background breeder research! Very disappointed to say the least

We had just adopted a puppy we didnt expect to get so soon. They were right there helping me find everything I needed from food to things our puppy could chew on. We had some problems at the register and were unable to get what we needed that day. They set us up with food and treats and held our things for us until the next day! That sealed the deal for us and will definetly have our business from now on!

We adopted our beautiful puppy from the Faribault Animal Center. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. Their puppies are very well taken care of and the store is as clean a pet store that anyone could imagine in their wildest dreams ~ sparkling clean and their puppies and kittens are happy and healthy! I would definitely adopt a new baby from this store. They are an asset to Faribault.

Very friendly staff! I brought my extremely shy, timid rescue cat here to be groomed yesterday. I was nervous, as she has never been groomed or handled by someone else. The groomer (Jan) was so nice. Seemed very patient and understood why I was a little nervous for my cat. And she didn't tell me to never bring her back, so I think my cat must have behaved for the most part :) Very reasonably priced too!

We go to this shop for almost all of our pet care needs. The team is like a family and treats you just as you would like to be treated in any normal store. Never have I heard a rude comment from any one of the team members unless someone was being down right awful to them and even then they only asked them to leave. Perfect place when looking for a family pet!
