Kentucky Humane Society has healthy cats who would love to be put to work! All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. You only need to provide daily food and water, protection from the elements and long-term care. After a short period of secure confinement, the cats should accept their new barn home.

Black listed us because we adopted a dog and had to return him because of our other dog and him didn't like each other at all. Told Is if we wanted our money back which was 300 dollars then we would never be allowed to adopt at the humane society ever again.

I am so happy with my adoption on 5/19. He's already made himself at home and is all I ever wanted in a dog. I love Kangroo Jack, now Oliver "Ollie" Roo!

The people at the Humane Society that do so much for these animals deserve a medal of honor! I don't know where my animals would be without them and I don't know how I would be able to provide for them without them. God bless all the workers there for all the love and care they give to these animals and for all the people that they help with their animals! 5 is not enough!

They will give you cat/dog food if your in need. They make it so easy to. Pull your car up, they ask what pets, they even load it into your car. Truly a blessing, thank you so much!

Best place to get your next pet. We have adopted all our pets from here over the past 17 years. Always have been healthy and live long happy lives. If you can please donate as well. The animals they serve have all been resucued and need a loving forever home.

Our new baby is still adjusting to his animal family and living in a house, but we are so happy to have him. I love that the Humane society connects pets with a happy home. I wish that I could have gotten a little more information on his history from his foster home or background but everyone there is very friendly and helpful with what information they have.

We adopted this sweet girl and the staff was so friendly! They were patient with us while we determined which of the sisters fit us best. They even did a follow-up call to check on her. We are so extremely happy with the adoption process.

I've been volunteering here for years and I know that the workers and owners genuinely care about the well being of all animals. I did an internship here and saw how many stressful days and sleepless nights these wonderful people go through to make sure the animals are kept in a humane, clean and safe environment. They have never turned away an animal that I have seen, although sometimes you may have to make an appointment.

From my experience, they are good with communication and helping those in the community. They offer tons of events year round to show the community what they offer. I've been fostering for them for 2 years now (I've included pictures) and Kayla, the foster coordinator, is super helpful and super organized. I've loved working with them. They have tons of classes on working with neonatal kittens all the way to big dogs and everything in between.
