Fieldhaven Feline Rescue FieldHaven Feline Center is a progressive, non-profit animal welfare organization. We believe that for every cat in need, there is a solution. Recognized as the Greater Sacramento area's leading cat and kitten specialists, FieldHaven receives no government funding and relies solely on your donations to support the health and safety of the animals in our community and the people who care for them. We offer cats and kittens for adoption and provide programs, assistance, and services like Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) and Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP).
Services
It all started in 2003 with a barn and a handful of feral cats. Word got out that sisters Jann Flanagan and Joy Smith were on a mission to rescue cats. Operating out of a trailer located on a private horse ranch in a rural area of Lincoln, California, the sisters established "FieldHaven Feline Rescue, " a safe haven for local cats and kittens until they were adopted.
FieldHaven Marketplace is so much more than a thrift store! We have Champy's Catfe adoption center, the Pet Food Pantry, and monthly vaccine and microchip clinics. Your shopping dollars and donations all go towards saving and enhancing the lives of our four-pawed family members. The coveted Litter Box Award was presented to us for making it through that litter-covered, scoopable year, 2020!
In celebration of its fifteenth anniversary in 2018, FieldHaven Feline Center's executive director Joy Smith and several volunteers and staff members reminisce about the history of the shelter in our short documentary. Featuring interviews, archival footage, and heart-wrenching rescue stories, 15 Years, Thousands of Solutions commends FieldHaven's valiant efforts since its founding in 2003.
We help over 21,000 animal shelters, humane societies, SPCAs, pet rescue groups, and pet adoption agencies advertise their homeless pets to millions of adopters a month, for free. We're all about getting homeless pets into homes. AnimalSave is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Corporation (Tax ID 94-2307359) dedicated to transforming the lives of dogs and cats in their community.

This place is the best. The ranch that the property is on is so calming, and the volunteers clearly love animals to death.

Many kittens and cats saved from danger, medical help provided, heart breaking cases taken on, and all cats lives valued. It takes a village to help.

This is an excellent place to get animals taking care of or to adopt from. It's a little bit of a drive but it's beautiful countryside that you'll see. The people are so caring and love all animals

Do not recommend. terrible staff full of flat out lying white woman. High school students at petco might be a better choice!

They make up stories about cats they take in to get donations. Multiple times, people I referred to them called them when they found local stray litters in dangerous conditions and field haven didn't return calls or emails. My sons cat was injured and surrendered to Field Haven and Field Haven almost a year later decides to make up and embellish some BS story to get sympathy and donations. If this was a credible organization they would tell the truth and not have to lie for sympathy

This so-called disgusting rescue organization lies to get donations. They took in my adult sons cat due to circumstances that I am not about to get into because it is private and personal, but I can assure you that the stories they tell about these cats that they take in are embellished lies. Also, multiple times when this organization has been called to take in abandon kittens, they don't even return phone calls or emails.

They pull the saddest looking cats photos and make up whatever stories they want in attempt to get donations. It is people like them that make others not want to help or donate. My advice is to find a different organization and check them out.

I can't even find the words to truely describe what a blessing this place is. all the animals are happy & loved, the people are kind & so helpful! The cat facility is pleasant & clean. The whole property is so peaceful. I didn't want to leave! God bless FieldHaven

Took my son who is a 3-year-old1 special needs kid there to try and see the cats, there was an older man working there who was very rude to my son and yelled at him to get outside, definitely not accepting of individuals with disabilities.

I love being a Kitten Sitter, and thanks to FieldHaven I was able to experience the greatest joy knowing the kittens I fostered are going to be adopted out. Thank you so much.

FH helps every person they are able in the Lincoln and surrounding areas, even if it's only providing tools and options for cat owners to be able to help themselves. Intake/surrender should always be the last resort!

I have been fostering for Field Haven Feline Center for two years now. We have had an amazing experience fostering for them. Every kitten and cat we have fostered had access to incredible vet care. We have had support through the process even if it is a middle of the night medical emergency. We also have have had the pleasure to adopt 3 amazing cats from them. The staff cares deeply for every feline they come in contact with. From fostering to volunteering to adopting Fieldhaven and it's staff have been remarkable.

For many years. I fed some outside cats.and then it was time for me to move. far away. There was one cat left, smokey and I did not want to leave him without a caregiver So I contacted fieldhaven for help. Fieldhaven has taken Smokey in and he is now up for adoption. Fieldhaven was very helpful and generous. From the time you talked with With the people at fieldhaven, visit their place of business, you can tell everybody truly loves and cares for all of the kitties there. I cannot think field Haven enough.

I can't say enough good things about the people at Fieldhaven. They're the real deal. No cat is beneath them. All are worthy of their very best. I don't have much money to give, but I give every month, even if all it does it keep them in paper towels.
