Over the last few months she has been transformed into a dog that is a pleasure to have as a companion. She walks properly on her leash, strives to please by following her commands and always looks forward to her continued training sessions. After our classes, Bauer was potty trained, leash trained and awesome around people of all ages! He joins me 3 days a week as a therapy dog to the students and staff at Carroll High School. Park and neighborhood walks are very different these days. No threatening barks or snarls.

I worked as a middle school and high school teacher for three years before stepping into the world of entrepreneurship. I especially love working with dogs who have behavior problems, because I love to see their owners have the opportunity to enjoy their dogs. Since I have young kids, I also enjoy working with families to create harmony and respect between their children and their dogs. We have four dogs in our family: Shelby a Sheltie mix, Apple a Siberian Husky, Wakey a Corgi mix, Fawkes a Golden Retriever.

I brought my two dogs here for one of the two week long courses and they've been extremely receptive to the commands they were taught and are much easier to take on walks. Flying colors gave the dogs a great base and they've given me a way to continue building on and enforcing the rules they've established.

We love Flying Colors! Our Labradoodle, Lucy, just completed her formal rock star program group classes after four months of training. We noticed a big difference right away when we got home from work after beginning the program. Lucy went from chaotically leaping at us to a more controlled "welcome home" : During lake season, we are able to take Lucy off leash and trust that she'll stay with us and even does great placing with large crowds and lots of food around! Clarice, Mary, and the entire staff are wonderful and truly love what they do. We'd highly recommend for your dog training needs!

Staff are great! 9 times out 10, I suspect it is the owners that need the training in order to effectively communicate with their pet. With that being said, the staff deliver this training in such a manner your dog will want to engage and learn. It is an exciting process to bear witness to. Finneus is a different dog thanks to Flying Colors Canine Academy.
He looks forward to class and I love learning how to teach our dog so he can be successful. It truly was the best decision we could have ever made for him. Thanks Flying Colors!
