With only ONE overwhelmed vet servicing the whole Imperial Valley, we took our cat to this place because he was limping. It was a very pleasant experience! We were welcomed by their friendly staff and it was decorated beautifully with dog and cat decor. There was even complimentary coffee and water! Most importantly, the place was CLEAN! The veterinarian came in to check our cat, explained the options for his care and answered all of our questions.

They gave us an estimate of what the services would cost so we would not be hit with any surprises and handled the care of our cat professionally. I was impressed with this place! It's nice to know they're only one hour away in case my pets ever need emergency care. Such a great example of what every business should strive for!

Everyone was fantastic. Calling to set same day appointment and I was accommodated when I had to call and reschedule for later in the day. I was informed of the beginning cost and found it to be reasonable. Check in was quick and my pup was greeted like a long time friend (she was brand new to clinic). Tech Lisa and Dr Acker were both great. Friendly and informative while explaining and asking questions.

Best emergency vet office! My dog tested positive for Parvo was in critical care and had to be hospitalized. They ensured us that they will do everything they can to try and get her back home where she belongs! I can't thank them enough for being the only emergency vet who didn't turn us away for not being a client and took good care of us even had the medical technician come in and talk to us to ensure they are taking the best possible care of our babygirl. Thank you guys for all that you are doing for our fur baby. There isn't anywhere else I would rather my dog be than right here during this terrible time.

Just left foothills animal hospital and they charged $190 for an "physical exam" just to tell us that he is sick, exactly what we already know. our appointment was scheduled for 8:00 PM and we waited 25 minutes to be seen by the vet tech and an additional hour and half to be seen by the vet. then the vet gives a laundry list of things that we should test for along with a fecal sample which came out to over $1000. my cat is underweight and we aren't able to get into another vet in time. i hope that this "animal hospital" is happy with the fact that they are causing more harm to animals then helping.

I have been here twice, one visit was good while the other visit I felt lied to. I took my cat in for an injured leg. Over $800 for an X-ray and office visit and I was told my cat would need surgery for a torn cruciate ligament which would be around $5,000. I was devastated since I didn't have any way of getting that much money at the time. I took my cat home with some pain medication and started to give her joint/bone supplements.

She is now 100% healed without surgery and does not have any issues with her leg. If I would have listened to the vet I'm sure I would have spent thousands unnecessarily. I was hesitant to go back but because of "Covid" no other vets were accepting new patients and my kitten needed to be neutered. The price of the neuter was actually less than most other clinics here in Yuma which was surprising.

The vet did a GREAT job on my cat's neuter, no complications, and he didn't seem like he was in pain at all. Overall I would say stay away if you need diagnostic care but for routine things that are hard to screw up I'd probably go back.

We had a great experience at this facility. We were traveling through Yuma when our pup suddenly got sick, they got us in and diagnosed within a few hours and provided such great care to her. They were very thorough and explained everything, including costs throughout the process. The staff and Veterinarian were wonderful. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Was able to get an appointment within 24 hrs. Best vet experience ever. Veterinary Technician was so good with my dog. Very thorough and courteous. Veterinarian was great with my dog. Informative as to diagnosis. Set my dog up with an injection and ointment to take home. They strived to make the experience as low stress on my dog as possible. Ladies at reception desk great as well! Will use this animal hospital again.

Dr. Day and staff were so kind and loving to our Fur Baby. They are expensive but when you are asking for an after hours appointment and it's an emergency that's what you pay for. Staff and Veterinarian were very thorough and explained treatment options and cost before proceeding. Grateful they saw us quickly and helped relieve our dogs pain.

My pet received the emergency care he needed. The office is clean, well staffed who are courteous and professional and efficient. Animal hospitals are notorious for excessive costs and questionable charges. For example, overnight hospitalization was on my first estimate which was going way overboard for the problem. I suggest people anticipate high estimates because as it was explained they provide a gold standard care estimate. Some of are on the tin or aluminum standard of care so need to be prepared to decline services which may not be necessary at the time.

Very Thankful to Foothills Animal Hospital for their professional staffing and awesome veterinarians! I took my Skylar in on emergency and they were as accommodating as possible during COVID on getting her seen in a timely manner. Love their follow-up call to check in on her too!
