Thank you so much! You took such great care of my baby girl Molly. I was a little hesitant when I was handed a pamphlet and told the company will contact you. After talking to Jen on the phone, I felt so much more at peace. I knew Molly was in good hands. Jen was very patient and understanding. She talked me through the process and even called me back in like two minutes to confirm Molly was indeed on her way to their location for her private cremation.I wish I had known about Forget-Me-Not years ago.
Services
Forget-Me-Not follows a comprehensive standard operating procedure to ensure that cremains are always returned to the rightful pet owner. For private cremations, it is important for owners to know that their beloved pet has truly been returned to them. Information, including details on your pet and your cremation wishes are completed at your veterinary clinic and placed into our automated tracking software. The vet places your pet in a holding container and an identification tag is filled out and attached to your pets holding container.
You and Little Kitty came into our lives from Paul's sister Rachael a little over five years ago when her future husband was deathly allergic to cats and she wanted to find them a good home. It was hard for her after eight years, but she knew we would give you and your sister all the love you deserved.
There's a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge is a verdant land of meadows, hills, and valleys with lush green grass. They are happy and content, but there is one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.

I've had two cats put down and cremated through forget me not. They need to step up their game now that my recently deceased cat was cremated elsewhere! Forget me not only gave me a cedar box, with no name on it. That's it. And I had to go pick it up at forget me not or else I would have had to drive back to the animal hospital which is further away.

The other pet crematorium gave me a wooden box with attached picture frame (so I can put my pet's photo in it, for display). And they gave me a little bottle with fur clippings. AND they gave me a ceramic stone paw print with pet name engraved on it. And entire thing was mailed to my home for no extra charge.

We couldn't have asked for better. Everything was perfect. The little touches were wonderful. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our world, Stella.

My wife and I lost our dear little Tot on 12/23/21. We entrusted her to Forget Me Not for an individual cremation. The ashes they returned to us were not hers. How can I be sure? *Tot was a 20-gram robo dwarf hamster. They sent back about 60 grams of ashes.* I understand that people make mistakes. This was a particularly egregious error, but if they had just been able to tell us what happened we might get some closure.

They couldn't even give us a plausible theory. No answers, no promise to address the issue so that this wouldn't happen to any other grieving pet owners- just a refund. Utterly unacceptable.

I lost my beloved Shane on September 21, 2021. -He was 17 years old. Our family is heartbroken. My vet suggested Forget Me Not Crematory. I have always buried all of my pets. After a few days I called them on September 25, 2021 and booked a private cremation and informed her I would call back when I chose the urn. They booked Shane to be picked up on Tuesday September 28, 2021.

On Monday, September 27, 2021, I called, chose my urn and gave my credit card. Although I was grieving, I felt better knowing everything was booked and although I had previously buried all of my pets, he would be cremated with dignity as he was so special to our family. On Tuesday, I received a call from Forget me not telling me they had picked Shane up from the Feline Hospital in Salem, MA on the 21 and they had already cremated him in a group.

He passed that very morning. She was not only cold and rude, but didn't take any responsibility for this error. When I had spoken to them the 2 times previously, no one ever informed me of this and had even booked picking him up on the 28th. In fact, they never called me when they picked up Shane to inform me, they had him and to confirm his cremation with me.

My poor baby is gone and I have nothing left of him. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They don't care at all. They didn't even know where my cat was. THEY ARE SHAMEFUL. DO NOT USE THEM. Make them take some responsibility for their error. I am so upset and angry over this. OH WELL is not a sufficient excuse.

I was very happy with Forget Me Not. The urn I chose is beautiful and very well made. I love the brass plate, and the clay paw was well done. Everything came in a nice tote. They added forget me not seeds and a paw pin. I would highly recommend. The only complaint I have is, I chose an urn off the website after someone told me to go to the website to look.when I called back I was told the one I chose was discontinued.

They should keep inventory on the site up to date, or tell people which ones are discontinued before they spend time and tears looking. But I'm still very happy with what I have. And their prices are extreamly reasonable

I have had nothing but a great experience with forget me not. They are kind compassionate and prompt. Over 30 years they have taken care of 3 of my dogs and now I am faced with yet the decision to put another one down. The ashes have been returned to me quickly and my dogs are home for now. They will all join me one day when I pass and we will be spread at our favorite spots.

My heart is broken once again and soon in the near future I will adopt or purchase another service dog. The heart break I feel for each and everyone of my boys is always with me. How ever the love the loyalty and all the great memories is well worth the hear ache. Hank Williams once said when I die I want to go were the animals go, who knows one day I may meet Hank Williams. God speed to all that have been lost. And thank you forget me not for your compassionate and heartfelt Sevice.

My first kitty Peanut passed away in September 2020, she was privately cremated at Forget Me Not and her remains came back to me in a beautiful wooden box along with her paw imprint on clay. And a packet of Forget Me Not flower seeds. When my second kitty Ollie passed August 2021 I made arrangements for him to be taken to Forget Me Not too. Staff is incredibly kind and patient, understanding and compassionate! Knowing my kitties were at a good place like Forget Me Not made it easier to grief.

From the moment we called to say our dog/family member of almost 13 years passed away they showed us the utmost compassion. They took a very sad situation and made it better for us. We highly recommend this facility and staff.

Long review but I want people to know that there are options even with Covid that your family member can be with you at home when it's time to go to Heaven. Huge thank you to Forget-Me-Not Pet Crematory. Our precious Avid was just a teeny 10 week old baby when he arrived home with us and at 15 years and 4 months we had to say goodbye. We had Dr. Christine Maxfield (Owner of In Home Euthanasia of MA & RI) come to our home for Avid's passing as I couldn't deal with our Vets Covid policy for euthanasia (I love our Vet dearly, but I just couldn't do it there.

Our family wanted to be with him at the very end.) We opted for a Private Cremation and I am beyond impressed by the kindness of the staff at Forget-Me-Not. Dr. Maxfield transported Avid on our behalf to Forget-Me-Not, and processed the paperwork for us. Just a few short days later, I received a very nice voicemail from a woman named Jennifer who left her condolences and let us know that sweet Avid was ready to come home.

When we arrived on site, I called to let them know that I was Avid's mom and I was there to take him home. I was greeted outside by a kind gentle giant, who saw that my eyes were swollen and red from the days of mourning. He quietly said "I am so very sorry, Mrs. McGrail" as he handed me the bag. In our adorable Forget-Me-Not reusable burlap bag we received Avid's ashes along with beautiful cards from both Forget-Me-Not staff as well as Dr. Maxfield, his tiny paw print, forget-me-not flower seeds, and his certificate of cremation.

They also returned Avid's sweater he wore the day he passed and blanket he was wrapped with in a special bag that was labeled "Please Handle Gently." My humble thanks for taking such good care of my sweet boy. Here's a funny pic of what Avid loved to do when he was snooping around the house: Steal jumbo Crayola crayons from his human siblings. God bless.

A truly great place for grieving pet owners. My kitty Cookie of almost 19 years was well taken care of with a lot of respect and compassion. Thank you for all your work and sympathy.
