Dog Walking Services
Report
A healthy dog is a happy dog; physical and mental activities are key to their well being. Get those tails wagging! Allow us to help with our daily dog walking services. We maintain a journal at your home with notes regarding the walk, your dog’s behavior and any health concerns.

Visits are 20-30 minutes with walks of 15-25 minutes. This depends upon weather, how well the dogs walk on leash and other walking conditions.
We offer pet sitting and dog walking throughout much of Virginia Beach. Whether you are away on vacation, traveling for business, or just have a busy work schedule, a pet sitter is there to help you care for your special family members. Our pet sitters specialize in providing reliable, affectionate, and affordable care for your cats, dogs, birds, and other small animals.
From Wags to Whiskers, Inc. employs mature individuals to care for your pets. Each employee has a diverse skill set, often already having many years in a successful career. Some have raised children and most have animals of their own. We are all committed to caring for your pets in the best possible way and are willing to go beyond the standard job description.
As pet parents, it's difficult leaving our pets in the care of others. Will the pet sitter understand the subtle signals our pet gives when she is anxious, hungry, or just wants a little petting? No matter what type of pet care that is needed, we will spend time with your animals, getting to know them and their personalities.
Below are the base rates for each visit to your home. They do not reflect any other fees that may be applicable. Visits are typically either 20 or 30 minutes in length. If more time is occasionally required to care for your animals, it will be provided at no additional cost. There is no charge for putting food into a fish tank and/or a koi pond if we are already making visits to your home for other animals. The following pricing is for up to 3 animals in a home; there is a fee for additional animals over 3.
For indoor dogs, we require three visits a day if the dog(s) do not have access to outdoors in between visits. Years of experience have shown us that dogs given only two visits a day are more stressed and are likely to require more of our time when we do visit. Veterinarians recommend that dogs be allowed to relieve themselves at least every 6-8 hours.

My dog loves their dog walkers and they are very good to her. They are always on time and text me when they are on the way. They also get my mail for me while walking her daily since I have a disability. I couldn't be happier.

Our large Maine Coon cat loves her. These cats are people cats so he doesn't do well alone for more than a day or two, so we have her visit him daily anytime we're gone for more than that. She has been sitting for him for over 2 years now. She checks everything, food, water, litter, and she plays with him and combs him out, or basically whatever he is in the mood for.

I also really like that she makes a journal of each visit, what happened, our cat's mood, behavior etc. It's just comforting knowing the person sitting for our pet, really loves her job and really loves animals.

I have been using Cindy for 10 years now and would not trust my dogs to anyone else!! She has always been dependable and goes out of her way to make me feel confident and relaxed while I am away. Love, love, love her!!!!

Wonderful! Cindy went above what I expected in a pet sitter. I have a German Shepherd and a cat. I was worried about finding a sitter after I moved to a new city. Especially with a large breed dog that can be intimidating. Rowan loved her! I no longer worry about who to call if we are unable to take him with us on trips.

Cindy has been our sitter since 2006. She is very caring and reliable. We did not hesitate to have her sit for our older dog w/health issues while we were away. She has also given us great "parenting" advice through the years. It is wonderful to be able to go away and know our babies are in good hands!

Several years ago we had four wonderful four-legged friends and our daughters had made their lives in opposite directions from where we live so when we wanted to visit them we could not take all four dogs and as some of them had problems traveling we decided to look for someone who would give them care and love while we were gone. That someone we chose was Cindy Thibault and we have never regretted it.

We love the way Cindy leaves us detailed notes of each visit and she is always available if we have any concerns. We now have only two of our dogs but it gives us so much peace of mind to know that they know and love Cindy and her helpers so much that they really don't even notice we are gone when we go visit our daughters. If you are looking for someone to take care of your four-legged friends I highly recommend you contact Cindy From Wags to Whiskers, you will be glad you did!

WONDERFUL dog walking and pet sitting team! We have been so fortunate to have found Cindy and her reliable, caring team of dog walkers. They are 100% dependable and treat our home and pets like their own. We have had three medium to large dogs and one cat for much of the last 2.5 years that we have used them. We rescued our young pit mix just before we moved to this area.

She had NO training and was very reactive, with a strong prey drive when we got her, but Cindy and her team were able to manage her during her training. We also adopted our Doberman puppy just after moving here as well, and they were able to accommodate twice daily walks for us initially during her housebreaking, and have been able to handle this rambunctious girl as well.

Our senior cat, who has since passed, was a timid girl; but based on the photos Cindy posted, her midday friends quickly gained her trust and affection. We have used them the entire time we have lived in VB, mainly for 3-4 midday dogs walks per week. They have offered the peace of mind and dependability we need, whether we are at work or out of town.

We often have last minute schedule changes or unusual requests and they have always been able to accommodate us. In addition, their prices are very affordable, and their communications are always prompt. In regards the negative comments from the previous client- Cindy may be soft spoken and straight forward, but she has never been rude; she is a kind hearted, gentle person who always has her clients and pets needs in mind. Also, as far as their communications and alerts about anything seemingly off about pets- as a pet owner I **greatly** appreciate when our walkers alert us to any potential medical concerns, along with any behavioral issues that pop up.

I can tell by the notes they leave in the pet journal that they know each of our pet's normal behaviors and their individual funny quirks. Also, we have never had any concerns about the walkers sticking to the prearranged time window.

Cindy and all her pet care workers do a great job! They are very reliable and pay attention to detail to caring for my home and pets when I go away. They are insured which is VERY important. Don't make the mistake of hiring someone off the Rover App or craigslist because there's a 99% chance they don't carry insurance.
