Dr. Williams joined us in July of 2020 coming from Wisconsin. Dr. Williams completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama and obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. As a new transplant, Dr. Williams and his fiance; a current resident at UGA are enjoying our amazing area and are excited to be a part of our community.
From the moment I spoke with the front desk, I felt at ease. I am low income and have a 113 lb pit bull. He has anxiety going to the vet's office. We have to muzzle him because, while not an aggressive or vicious dog, he could bite out of fear. He's never bitten, but if he did he could do some very serious damage.
Your pet's ongoing care is more important than you think. From their first visit to their senior years, we'll put together a comprehensive health plan built just for them. For the health of your pet, regular professional veterinary care is essential, especially for your senior pet. Preventive veterinary care not only lengthens the life of your pet, but it also improves your pet's quality of life. A regular and complete physical for your pet can increase the chances of early diagnosis and treatment of physical ailments.
Gaines School Animal Hospital offers full-service grooming and baths. Safety is our first concern. We never leave your pet unattended either in the tub or on the grooming table, and hair dryers are used either without heat or on low heat. All pets should be up to date on their vaccinations (if not, we can arrange to have your pet vaccinated).

I would have been impressed if you all had done half as much as you've done. You took us in last minute and you weren't even our primary vet and you have treated Hops as if she was your own. It's obvs you're invested in her life as much as I am! Words cannot give enough praise to Gaines School Animal Hospital!

Our little one got very sick very fast and had to be put down. Dr. Kudela and staff were amazing, kind, caring and patient throughout. While we were with kitty during her final moments, someone backed into our car. Dr. Kudela came back to deliver the news and the staff took care of everything for us, and got all the necessary information. The damage was very minimal but I was extremely grateful and impressed with how they handled things during such a difficult time for us.

Much better experience than the other vet down the road. Everyone was great and the vet came out and explained everything to me. I really liked how she was upfront about risk of things that other vets just expect you to get. Very happy that someone came to the car to talk to me instead of calling on the phone. I was also surprised by the price. My last vet was way more for less services than I received at Gaines School. They are the best of 4 vets I've seen so far.

I've been taking my dogs to Gaines School Animal Hospital for over a year now for Veterinary Services and Grooming Services and I'm a very happy customer. I get great quality veterinary care for a reasonable price, everything is communicated so I see exactly what is being done and why. Staff is very friendly, personal yet professional. Lucky me. I live only 5 minutes from the best place to take my cat whenever she needs care. Dr. Eckman, Dr Brewster and all the vet techs are absolutely wonderful! All are excellent at their jobs. The hospital is very clean, all are helpful and and professional. My cat is older.so often, I come in with much stress and even some tears. Eveyone is always understanding and compassionate. Pets are part of the family.the folks at Gaines School realize this very important issue. I highly recommend them!
