Had to take my tort in for an emergency visit. There was a slight wait list, and the receptionist said that it could take until the next day to get him seen, but they called me back a little more than an hour later and were able to see him. The vet and vet techs were all very nice and took care of my boy and taught me how to give him his meds so I could take him home same day. They even had suggestions for good products to help prevent a repeat of the issue.

Great service! They came out with the gurney for my dog got him in right away when he ingested something he shouldn't have, and I was in a very comfortable room. They gave me updates. The only downside was the cost. 700 bucks later. 300 of which was just for one week's worth of medicine!

When my cat needed the service of a veterinarian Falls Road was the right place to bring him for treatment. His problem was treated, and the visit returned him me in good health. I found the staff and vets very friendly and knowledgeable. I love the way they interact with the animals. If I could have given 10 stars as a rating, I would have given them a10!

My lab cut his paw pad in the early evening after his regular vet had closed for the day. After a few hours of unsuccessful attempts to stop the bleeding on my own I called several other emergency vets local to me to try and get him seen. Falls Road was the only place who took his active bleeding seriously and had me bring him in right away. Dr. Hayward was very informative and kind to answer all of my questions.

She stitched up my guy, and I was able to bring him home with clear instructions on how to keep him comfortable and the area clean. Wait time for the procedure was normal, especially when this is an emergency after hours hospital where people are bringing their critical pets in for care. Thank you Dr. Hayward and staff for taking care of my boy!

I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years. I've had several dogs and ALWAYS took them to Falls Road over the years. I had heard from others that the quality of customer service had deteriorated but I had not experienced much of a change. until now. I cannot get an appointment until mid April and if I walk-in willing to wait until there is a no-show or lull in the emergencies, I will be charged extra?

How ridiculous. How insensitive to folks where there is an issue or their pets need to be seen. Consequently, no ability to get shots. I cannot board my little guy. Spoiled. Falls Road was so friendly and like a family. Falls Road made you feel like you were leaving your dog with family. They used to send reminder postcards when shots were due! Things have change and perhaps i need to change where i do business.

With the exception of requiring useless face diapers to be worn, the care and follow up to my recent panicked emergency visit at 12:30AM for my cat was handled very well. Even if the end result had not been positive, Falls Rd handled everything from my initial distressed telephone call to my arrival and taking the pet carrier instantly to ICU, to allowing me to wait in an exam room, to explaining events in simple terms to the happy reunion after my cat spent the night under the vet's care and observation indicate both professionalism and compassion by the whole team on duty that night and the team into the following afternoon.

I frantically arrived at Falls Road at 1 am on a Saturday with a sick pup after she started showing severe GI distress. I was a worried mama with lots of questions. They immediately took my Luna in and started trying to figure out what was wrong with her. They called me to provide updates as I waited in the parking lot. Luna ended up being admitted for 2 nights but I felt like she received top notch care from Drs. Jones and Hayward.

When I picked her up they provided me with very specific directions and answered the thousands of questions that I had. Although it was expensive it was much less than expected for 48 hours of care, lots of tests, and several weeks of medications. If I ever have an emergency again I will definitely be returning to Falls Road.

I want to preface this by saying I don't particularly have issue with their quality of medical care. My dog did pass in their care, but I honestly doubt much could have been done. He was old, he had cancer. And yet, my experience was much more terrible than it had to be. I arrived and called in, not knowing they were making people wait outside. They said someone would be right with me.

And then I waited with what I now know was my dying dog for four hours. I tried to go elsewhere, but could not reasonably do so. When I noticed the parking lot clearing I finally called them. The employee essentially admitted they'd forgotten I was there. I get they were busy. Maybe my case was not urgent. But my dog was dying in their parking lot and they just.forgot.

When I finally got my dog seen, he was seen immediately, which by then was beyond doing much. I was not well pleased with the bedside manner of the doctor either. When my dog passed several hours later the doctor stood over me sobbing as my dog died to ask me what I wanted them to do with his body. Felt like zero regard. All the while employees were joking and having a good time right outside the privacy curtain.

The best employee was the receptionist who at least said she was sorry for my loss. If any other place had been open and taking emergencies I'd have gone there. I hope you do too.

Last minute ER visit. Don't hesitate! They took really good care of my baby. You are in good hands. Other then the wait time everything went pretty good. You have to wait in car at parking lot. Bring a snack. Bunbun had a bad nail break. They clipped it put her on pain meds and antibiotics! Healing time sucks but she back to normal. Nail Slowly trying to grow back.

First and foremost, the curbside service doing this pandemic was perfect. The tech and vet were excellent with the handling of my dog. I was always worried about an astronomical bill from Falls Road for what I had heard from other pet owners but the service I received was well worth it and the bill was MUCH lower than I expected. I was even given an X-Ray estimate before the service was provide. Kudos to Falls Road Animal Hospital!

3-500$ for cpr if your pet chokes. 3 grand for an over night and then they still try and tax you. Better have money when you just want to make sure your pet is OK. This is disgusting.

Overpriced. Customer service is horrible. And you wait and wait even when you have an appt. I've been on hold twice for over 25 minutes today. Unbelievable. I get it about being understaffed, so is my business, but I do not do business this way. Never will use them again.

Overall this is a reliable and trustworthy place to take a pet, especially in an emergency. It is hard to find a place to bring a rabbit in the Baltimore area for a late night emergency. FR took in my Ozzy late Sunday night - even though there was not an exotic vet in the facility at the time, they stabilized him and helped manage his pain. They scheduled his surgery for Tuesday, and so far have been very up front about the cost and what to expect.

Someone I spoke to Sunday said no news is generally good news, which would later be reassuring. On Tuesday, his surgeon Dr. Herko, kept me up to date on how Ozzy was doing. I felt he cared very much for Oz, and fought hard to keep him alive. It is very hard to lose a beloved pet, but I feel that FR made sure he was not alone when he passed and that they did everything they could.

They were patient with me when I was sobbing on the phone too, and didn't make me feel pressured to make difficult decisions right away. I would dock a half star for my trouble getting in touch with anyone before Ozzy's surgery. I was very anxious and called multiple times before getting through, just to get an update as I thought his surgery was earlier in the day.

I spent a lot of time freaking out because I couldn't get information about his surgery, but I also understand how busy emergency vets are - it would just be helpful that one could reliably get a hold of someone to talk to for brief updates.

My autistic daughter and I took her therapy chicken to Falls Road Animal Hospital today knowing he needed to be euthanized. He was very old and had cancer and possibly a stroke. We were told that we could not be with him when he gets euthanized because he is an "exotic". So he was taken to be euthanized, and we were told we would have him back. in about 10 minutes.

It ended up being an hour and a half before we got him back. No one ever bothered to call us to let us know what was going on. My autistic daughter is freaking out because she wants her chicken back. After 40 minutes I call to see what is going on. I'm told it will be a few more minutes. Another lie. It ended up taking them 90 minutes to get him back to us. We spent a total of 2 hours in the heat waiting for our dying therapy chicken to be humanely euthanized. This is no way to treat people. #fallsroadanimalhospitalsucks

My hamster was bleeding and lethargic, nobody was available to take an exotic pet, let alone an emergency. This place took him IMMEDIATELY when I got into the parking lot, cared about him, and were FANTASTIC! I highly recommend this place for your emergency needs, your small exotic pets, or your big pets too. I am forever grateful for how they helped us today after I spent literally hours crying, trying to find help somewhere!

My dog got into something and was vomiting and had diarrhea. Falls not my fave but grateful it was nearby. Experienced horrible customer service Unmasked employee came to our car and I asked her to put on a mask. She replied 'no'. She then snarkily said. ' I can take your dog or get a mask- your choice.' Unkind and rude. Front desk person making. 'your chart' was snarky and hung up on me. Dr Bloom was great.

I am appreciative. I reported the techs behavior to the manager who told me an 'education session' would be done- yeah great that will help I asked for a discount because it is really expensive there. Oh and by the way, someone else pulled up and tried to call in. The rabbit was dead- I tried to do cpr Overall really really bad service. Go elsewhere. Falls road -DO BETTER.

I think our dogs care was ok after bringing him in for the Urgent care clinic. Two days after our visit I received a voicemail saying to call back and the rest of the message was not understandable. I called back twice now and had to leave a message and have also emailed twice since receiving the original call on July 15th. Due to not receiving communication back we will most likely not return to this clinic.

It is difficult to rate a vet when the only interaction was an emergency. They did address the emergency quickly, and when our dog was having a seizure. Unfortunately they could not save him and we had to have him put down. We did have him cremated through the vet and the provided a very nice package, including a plaster imprint of our dog's paw.

DO NOT BRING YOUR RABBIT HERE. My poor boy left with a visible cut in his eye which was also swollen and bulging. The vet told me it was because he was dehydrated from his fever, but why would his eye be scratched? Plus they are very agressive with pushing you to spend more and more. I paid $1.3k for a rabbit in worse condition than I left him, a wounded eye, and they even used another pet's name in his discharge instructions.

My bunny was VERY obviously able to take water by syringe orally in the car ride back home and all evening today but they claimed he wasn't drinking and needed IV fluids for an extra $500.

We brought our pregnant dog to the ER there because she was in labor. There was literally a puppy sac poking out of her. Because she was able to walk, they told us she wasn't in active labor and to just take her home and monitor her. A few hours later she pushed out a dead puppy. We called back and couldn't be seen so we had to take her out Towson. for an emergency c-section.

At this point two other puppies were in distress and died. So out of the 6 she was pregnant with, only 3 survived. Falls Rd never even gave our dog an ultrasound to see if the heartbeats of the puppies were normal smh. I feel like they rushed seeing her because they were busy smh.

The absolute WORST experience I have had with any business, . I called them 40 minutes prior to showing up to let them know I was coming and there was somebody able to see my Parrot in TIME, . Then I rushed out of the house and down I-695 to Falls Road, I SAT in the parking lot for 25 minutes at least with my CAR door wide open in the FIRST parking. space by the entrance, . Watching MULTIPLE people taking care of ANYBODY but ME, . all while I watched my Exotic Parrot BLEED to DEATH, . and then when I finally get seen the vet says he lost to much blood and dies, . I would NOT recommend this vet to ANYBODY in DESIRE need at all period, .

I highly would NOT recommend FRAH. Their lack of customer service and communication with their clients is appalling. After speaking with 3 receptionist throughout 3 days. I still have yet to hear from a vet (I was only told my vet was on vacation when I had to call back a second time.) and/or a call back from receptionist regarding medication. my pet needed 3 DAYS ago.

I'd like to add that this was a code red situation and my pet is at end of life. Their lack of compassion once my pet was discharged from an overnight stay is underwhelming. Their lack of concern regarding medicine my pet needs to help keep them comfortable while going through end of life is simply disappointing. The front.
