Halsey East Animal Clinic - Stephen Vockert

I appreciated the text messages I received before and after our appointment and that our appointment was on time, the facility was clean, the staff were all very nice and welcoming to me and my pet.

I never write reviews but I just have to for this clinic. I came in to get my dog checked for a rash and don't get me wrong the vet was great and the receptionist were great too but the fact that someone came out to tell me my dog needed training which was so rude. She was talking to me as if I was a 6 year old who wasn't understanding what she was saying and a horrible attitude.

I wouldn't have found it so rude if she was telling me nicely but she was so rude and disrespectful acting like I didn't know what I was doing she is my dog and I know what's best for my dog. Lastly, the person who brought out my dogs medication was also rude and passive aggressive I was told it would be $112 and they charged $20 more than what I was told I just paid it and left because I was upset and crying and just wanted to leave.

Overall my experience declined so much as the minutes passed by I just wanted to leave immediately I will never be bringing my dog back even though it's hard to find a good vet this is the worst experience I've had so far and I would warn you go in with caution. Never again.

Doctor V. is super kind and smart. They love our cat, Little Bit. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Very fine service. All the ladies (including the Vet) were so pleasant to interact with. Just waiting for a call to set our next appointment.

I visited this vet about a year ago so this review is about that visit. My cat and dog have something that is not visible to the naked eye that had been plaguing then for several months now. I've tried everything to help them to no avail. Since time has gone on it's getting worse. I told the vet that I think they're are microscopic bugs making my animals miserable which made me sound crazy and she kinda made me feel stupid about it then she pretty much didn't acknowledge my specific concerns when it came to treatment.

She suggested flea meds for both animals. Which was incredibly expensive. The entire visit cost 256 dollars for the vet to barley check out both animals. And for flea meds or both with one more dose. Luckily my grandpa agreed to pay it but he said it was my Xmas present. Which I'm more than grateful for but wouldn't you believe it. neither my cat nor my dog stopped itching.even for a second. Flea meds did nothing. I mentioned this to the vet before we left. No help, no compassion. but thankfully they made lots of money of of us.

Still under curbside help. Most of the people were excellent and a big help. Dr. Vockert was very nice and answered all of our questions as this was our dogs first visit to see him. We went to Halsey East animal clinic on the recommendation of two of our friends. We were not disappointed.

Amazing team. Have been going there since our girls were pups. Caring and kind. If you're looking for a place to bring your animals where you don't have to worry. This is the place. My wife and I will be life long customers.

Been taking my fluffy little man to dr olson since i got him from Oregon humane society! she's great and he's the happiest cat i think I've ever seen! (don't be afraid to adopt! my last two kitties were adopted and they're the sweetest little angels!)

Very friendly and caring group of people. They work hard and have helped our pets immensely.

Daycare people helpful and amazing! Veterinarian caring and amazing! But I am so fed up with the handful of receptionist at this place! Every time either I or my partner calls they are very unprofessional and impolite. They always have a snarky attitude, treating the phone call like an annoyance to them. No customer service at all. You should be doing what's best for the pet and be caring and concerned.

They do not even say good bye on the phone they just slam the phone in my ear! I wish I could talk to the veterinarian personally and tell him what's going on. Very disappointing, makes me want to search for a new vet office. People don't understand how important the front office staff are, it's critical to have good people skills and if you're not up for that then the job is not for you. You are essentially the first person of contact to clients. If you don't love your job or are not passionate about it please find something else!

I'm very, very happy with both the customer service and veterinary service at Halsey East. They are incredibly professional while still being friendly! I was very pleased with how they handled my dogs neuter ie the high quality, up-to-date medical care that they clearly provide, their thoroughness and even how he looked and behaved when I picked him up (not upset, or disheveled).

I am always happy to do whatever is best for my pets, but I also have a lot of questions and want to understand why/what we're doing and hear about the different options. I have never felt like I was annoying any of the techs, or the doctor with my questions which is honestly so refreshing! I'm looking forward to bringing my new kitten here and my pup for many years to come!

There are no words that can express my appreciation. This clinic and its staff are amazing, very professional and friendly. They really have a love for their profession and their patients. They are the best.

Parking lot is set up well. It serves as the waiting area too. You communicate with the front desk and the vet with your phone so you and your pet stay safe in your car. Very knowledgeable vets too.

They have gone out of their way to assist me in getting the special medication my cat needed when we moved out of state until I find a new veterinarian. Wonderful kind people I highly recommend them. They have cared for my cats and my mothers dogs for several years. Were compassionate and caring when my older cat crossed the rainbow bridge. I couldn't have been more pleased with the care we received.

Currently only doing pickup at car with no inside service. The team were able to admit my little corgi on a busy day and with minimal wait time. I believe I was sitting for 3 minutes. They were excellent in keeping me in the loop with regular calls. They got the exam done quick and checked his eyes, thankfully he was fine. He just had a mild irritation, but you don't mess around with eye health Always Get them Checked.

The vet was super polite and sadly my little boy was anxious about nail trimming, they didn't even charge me for trying. I guess I'll need to learn how to trim, but I am glad they didn't stress him out. Super care, great service, very reasonable rate considering the very short notice. I would highly recommend them. Certainly my team for my foreseeable future. Thanks again team.

It was time to let go of one of my old lady kittens. This was the BEST of these experiences one can have! Andrea was wonderful! Halsey East Animal Clinic set up an area that was soft, less clinical. And they insisted on deferring payment after the medication was given and she was gone. Andrea. Better than wonderful. Thank you. Good bye sweet Skelly. Beautiful girl.
