Services
7am - the doors open. Dogs that normally walk very nicely on leash have been known to pull Mom or Dad through the front door to start playing as quickly as possible! When the dogs arrive in the morning they go directly to their play group and start playing! Most of the morning is spent running, chasing and playing tug-o-war or keep-away with their friends.
Most of our customers bring their dogs one to three days per week - depending on their dog and their schedule. Proof of vaccinations is required the first day of daycare or training class. You may bring a copy of the vaccinations with you or you can have your vet fax them to Happy Hounds at 262-502-3636.
A beginner class for puppies under 16 weeks of age, this 6 week class allows puppies to learn proper play behavior through socialization. Using positive reinforcement, we will show you how to teach your puppy basic commands such as sit, down, stay, come and walking nicely on leash along with other useful information.
If you are going to bring treats for your dog - bring something small so they do not get an upset tummy. All dogs in daycare or training class must also be on a preventative for heartworm, flea and tick and must be parasite free. Puppies must have their bordetella vaccine and be current on their distemper / parvo vaccine based on their age.

The people who run this place are not friendly and kind of rude. We first noticed the rudeness when we picked up our dog and the woman behind the counter spoke to a woman about some thing her dog did.which in reality was normal dog behavior. She kept going on and on making the dog owner feel as if it was her fault. Very uncomfortable. Then as the weeks went on she started on our dog saying it was aggressive and tried to nip at people.
These comments were so out of left field because we have taken our dog to other day cares by places we lived and even to places we vacationed and NEVER had a problem. We stopped going here since it was clear our dog and this place weren't connecting. She's now in a new doggie day care where she's loved and she's enjoying her time there.

This is one of the BEST Doggy Day Care in the area. Toby has been there for 4 years now, started as a puppy. He has never gotten kennel cough and is always happy to be there. Michelle and Diane definely are experts, offering different levels of classes for your furbaby. The other caregivers are great as well. Amber's grooming is in the same building making it so convenient for me. In case you are wondering I am not a family member just a very satisfied dog owner. Mary Ann

The customer service skills, even of the owner, are seriously lacking. My dog ended up being so stressed out after a few weeks of visiting this place I wish I would have never put him through whatever happened here. They refused to give me a tour after I addressed my concerns. Don't take your pets here, they're left outside too long in the hot/cold elements with lack of supervision.

We have taken our dog Jack Daniels to Happy Hounds for the grooming with Amber for many years.and there's just one word to say THANK HEAVENS! Okay that was two, but seriously, Amber is amazing with Jack and we don't know what we would do without her (we would have one ugly looking golden retriever thats for sure). Very professional and wonderful to both Jack and us. Jack comes back looking like one handsome dude! We thank Amber very much for being so great! All the staff at Happy Hounds gets two thumbs UP! Great place for dogs!

Our dog is a completely different pup at Happy Hounds. She comes out of her shell, and is confident and excited to meet people. At the end of the day when I pick her up, she is wiped out from playing with doggies all day. The staff at Happy Hounds is knowledgeable, professional, and their sincere love of dogs is immediately evident. I feel 100% at peace knowing our dog is in a safe, caring environment that she loves. I can't say enough positive things about them!
