Over 15 years ago, Diane Dewberry, founder of The Healthy Animal, wanted more nutritious food options for her pets. Realizing that most top selling brands weren't a good choice, she researched smaller companies that manufactured healthy and wholesome food, treats, supplements and remedies. This was the beginning of what became The Healthy Animal. Diane is our resident pet food and pet nutrition expert for dogs, cats and their pet parents, ensuring that our furry friends stay safe and healthy. Because they deserve it!

Large selection of products, food and treats- all safe and healthy for our pets. Staff is extremely helpful and I can always count on them to offer suggestions and guide me in the right direction. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great place for people and pets! Very friendly atmosphere. If you need to special order something or order items on a schedule just ask and they'll be happy to accommodate you. They have a rewards program too!

This staff is so knowledgeable about animal, products, food, and more. I love walking in their with my kids and furkids for our animal needs. When our Irish Setter went on a food strike they gave us samples for her to try and choose! I highly recommend them for your animal needs! Your furkids will love you

So glad I found this place. I have cats on a special diet and was driving some distance to get their food. I found such a great variety i decided to try something new. The person waiting on me actually gave me samples of the food to take home to make sure the cats would eat what I had chosen and to find the flavor they might like best. Wonderful selection and customer service.
