Welcome to Home Away From Home Pet Care, LLC, one of Georgetown's oldest pet care facilities, having been in business for over 19 years and growing. We are the Oldest Family Owned and operated facility that has had the same team members in place since day one and is Georgetown's number one recommended private pet care facility, offering personalized pet specific care.
We provide care for most animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, some exotics, reptiles and ranch animals. For dogs, we have a separate heated and air conditioned indoor boarding facility that is fully insulated and right next to our house. They have a radio on 24/7 and night-lights. Outside, every play area has large shade trees and its own automatic water supply system.

We are 12-year clients of Home Away From Home Pet Care and it's name is exactly what it implies. The Owner, Ms. Wendy, cares for and treats every single boarder like they are family. Our dogs LOVE going to stay with Ms. Wendy and get so excited when they determine that's where we are headed! During the day, they have roomy areas to run and play which are always stocked with clean, fresh water. Ms. Wendy and her staff interact with each boarder multiple times a day and give them lots of personal attention and treats (if allowed).
At night, they sleep soundly on soft beds listening to soothing music. Ms. Wendy has over 15 years experience in dealing with animals and is very knowledgeable. When our beloved dog Woody collapsed in her care back in 2009, we were overseas and terrified. He was in acute liver and kidney failure and the situation was dire. Ms. Wendy jumped into action getting him the best medical care possible while keeping in constant contact with us on his condition. She kept him in her home and watched over him like I would have, with a Mom's love and devotion. There is no one we trust more with our dogs!
