My cat loves Laura. She does extra things like sweep up the cat litter and wash the empty food dishes without being asked and at no extra charge. I have a security camera system and it's cute to see my cat sitting by the front door waiting for Laura to come because she looks forward to her visits. Highly recommended.

We were going out of town over the Labor Day Holiday weekend, but the neighbor who normally watches our cat was also going to be out of town. I did some searching on the internet and found Homestead Pets. It turned out that Laura was great. She came over to "interview" us and our cat. She immediately put us at ease as she was very personable and clearly loves animals.

She did a great job while we were gone, sending us texts and documenting her visits while she was here. We will definitely use her again in the future. To top it off, her prices were very reasonable.

I'm a very caring obsessed dog mom. To the point where my family has only ever watched my fur kids when I've gone out of town because it's hard to find someone who is willing to care for my two large dogs. I have a female pitbull weighing in at 65 lbs and a male pitbull weighing in at 80 lbs. They are the most loving and caring dogs I've ever met, yet the breed scares most people off. Laura wasn't worried at all!

She was very calm and relaxing to talk to and I knew just talking to her she'd be perfect! My boyfriend and I went on a short weekend getaway in California, not only was Laura available on such short notice she also made sure to keep me updated on how my babies were doing! Nothing made me feel more secure about the decision I made then just a quick text and some photo updates on how my babies are! Thank you Laura! And I would HIGHLY recommend Homestead Pets to anyone!

Hi my name is Desiree and I have a furbaby named India. She is a cat, but she might as well be my child because I treat her as such. If you're anything like me, you know that finding a dependable pet sitter is essential to having peace of mind while you're out of town. Enter Homestead Pets, more specifically Laura with Homestead pets. I moved here almost a year ago and I had anxiety about being in a new city without anyone to watch my cat while I was away.

So much that for the first few months I didn't really go anywhere out of town because I wasn't comfortable. I searched a few places online and finally was referred to Homestead Pets by another pet sitter who didn't service my area(Northwest Las Vegas). This worked out as it was intended to because Laura is AMAZING! Seriously. She is thorough in her initial meet and greet, she is super organized, loving with your pet, and she makes you feel like it's okay to go away(even though you might still feel panicked).

Communication with her is easy via phone, email, or text. She is there to run her business and make sure she is around. This is by far the best pet sitting experience I have EVER had. I feel like my cat is being taken care of and checked on while I'm away, pricing is reasonable(can you really put a price on your kid? NO!), and Laura checks in with you via text to let you know how your pet is doing while you're away(kitty photos while I'm away make me happy).

During the initial meet and greet she also makes sure she knows where everything is in your home related to your pet, so everything goes smoothly. She even likes to test the key you provide her and make sure she can lock and unlock your place securely when she enters and exits. One last thing is that she leaves you a paper that says to let her know when you get home so she doesn't start to plan a visit if she doesn't hear from you. This is something that lacked with my last sitter. It's that extra mile to make sure that you get home and your pet is taken care of.
