So I have a full time indoor pet and will admit it was a few years since the last time there, but as pet begins to age a bit the thought was to go there for an annual check up including yearly vaccines, with perhaps a chat on overall health. Not much of a quality visit to be honest for a nearly $210 charge, was in and out in like 20 minutes with very little of that time actually spent seeing the veterinarian.

As it were, the pet was already distressed from a car ride, being in the carrier and in a strange environment, the brief but honest attempt to get weight was not especially conclusive, more like a best guess. I will give the vet tech credit, she was genuinely caring and good natured given a less than cooperative animal. The "comprehensive medical exam" as it were was maybe all of 5 to 7 minutes during which the 2 shots for $70, a quick comb test for fleas, a grope or two to feel the innards were all intact and what do I feed the pet inquiry for the $63 fee. Also, there was no attempt to check temperature done at any point now that I think about it.

Guess I should learn to clip nails on my cat since that simple ask turned into a $21 add on, and then a $6.99 fee for medical waste, was there gold tips on those syringes? Yes, above all else this is a business and not a charity, I am aware of that, but the value per dollar in care and customer satisfaction just did not seem as worthwhile as it could have been.

Over the years, with prior pets I have encountered many other pet care providers that have been far more engaging, willing to spend a few more minutes and not give a push out the door kind of vibe. In many of those past experiences, certainly they were able to interact with compassion, humor along with a heartfelt sense of family, though this were more than a transactional service arrangement.

My experience with them have been positive so far. I like their remote curbside pick up service.

There's no comparison to there care and informative they where. I'd recommend them over the other vet services. Thank you for seeing Bubby and he is way better.

TERRIBLE CLINIC! I woke up to my 3lb 10wk puppy screaming. This clinic would NOT LET ME COME IN I walked into a different VETERINARIAN & received help. Our puppy had an allergic reaction that caused ulcerative sores & STAPH infection That could have KILLED my puppy. STAY AWAY. They do not care about animals here.

Paid for a full exam vet hardly touched my dog. Granted he is very big she may have been a big scared but if that was the case i would have asked for client to reschedule if she was uncomfortable. Definitely not happy with the exam. Meds percribed didn't even help the main issue we went in for. Hundreds of dollars down the drain which could have went to a vet who wanted to help the issue. And my dog still has the issue we went in for not very happy and highly doubt I will ever take my dog back.

Dr Stoner is amazing, she's taken care of our English Bulldog stitch since we brought him home, there isn't a question you can't ask her she will give it to you straight. I love that about her, You can tell she truly loves her profession and in my opinion is the best we just love her

They were very thorough and explained everything. I couldn't go with my fur baby but they were very clear about the process and the Dr called me directly to report on how the appointment went. Reasonably priced, professional and quick. I have pets that go to three different vets in this area (blended family of adopted fur babies) so I could easily change were I unhappy but HVCW is very good with my FB, and she is NOT an exam friendly girl.believe me.

Dr. Hall and her staff are angels of mercy. Absolutely would not trust my cats to anyone else. Full stop. Thank you Dr Hall for helping Linda cross the rainbow bridge to Valhalla quickly and painlessly. I'm forever in your debt.

This place may be expensive but the people handle my aggressive dog without judgment, she questioned us until she understood his full situation. I find it amazing how they love on him even when he is snarling they act like he's complaining the entire time and continue to talk back to him, he has been showing so much improvement with his behavior since we started coming to this place. He seems to like this vet and we plan to continue coming back to them.

Took my indian ringneck (parrot) there about a year ago, the vet clipped his wings all the way across. He says he's an avian vet. Well clipping the wings all the way across causes the bird to not have any way to slow itself down when falling. My parrot has hit his head so many times from falling, I'm just happy he hasn't been hurt. It's been almost a year and they are only just now starting to grow back. I'm sure he's prob good with dogs and cats, but I'll never take my bird there again. FYI to others with parrots, you are only supposed to clip up to (no more than) 8 feathers on each side. I am and have been furious about this. I didn't know it at the time. I thought he was a vet and knew best.he doesnt. I now help run a parrot rescue and know better.
